Adam came to only a few moments later with stars fluttering around in his vision.
Holy fuck, that was intense!
Like waking from a dream, most of the memories he’d just relived started to slip away.
But that last memory.
It didn’t go anywhere.
It was burnt into his mind.
Despite it all, despite the feelings he’d had a minute earlier before consuming the scale of remembrance, he now felt an aching and longing. It was uncomfortable to be aware of how reliving his past lives affected him, but he couldn’t dismiss these new feelings either.
In this universe, Emelia and I were always meant to meet. If not for me she would’ve died. If not for me she would never have become a time-looper. Of course she would try to save me.
After all, it was the same reason why he’d felt indebted to Willow, even though the version of her he’d gotten to know last loop had been someone other than the one who first helped him.
