Chapter 190: The God Butcher
The Angelic Calamity stopped sliding across the smooth frozen silica.
It slowly pulled itself out of the shattered icebergs. The perfectly symmetrical beautiful face was entirely ruined.
The celestial jawbone hung loosely from its glowing skin. Thick golden blood dripped continuously onto the glass ocean.
The terrifying calm telepathic voice completely vanished.
"You filthy mortal insect!" the Calamity screeched aloud.
"You will pay for this humiliation and I shall make sure that you do! The Gods above will never forgive you and will make you pay! You will not dare to make a mockery out of them!"
The voice no longer sounded like chiming silver bells. It was a distorted grating demonic shriek. The absolute illusion of holy perfection instantly shattered.
The Gods were not benevolent creators. They were incredibly arrogant cosmic monsters hiding behind blinding light. Nothing was more cruel than the fake gods dancing in the sky.
The Calamity swung its remaining massive starlight wings. It charged directly at my chest with absolute unfiltered hatred.
It swung the flaming greatsword in a chaotic wild frenzy. It completely abandoned its precise divine martial arts. It just wanted to burn my green skin to ash.
I did not block the chaotic strikes. I stepped directly inside the guard of the raging deity. My Level 205 core perfectly synchronized with the ancient draconic reactor.
I slammed my heavy starmetal shoulder directly into the chest of the Calamity.
"Have a taste of this goblin fist!!" I exclaimed.
The God gasped loudly as its celestial ribs violently fractured.
I grabbed the entity by its glowing throat. I activated the colossal mechanical wings on my spine.
The heavy starmetal blades swept forward and violently impaled the eight starlight wings of the God. I forcefully pinned the Angelic Calamity completely flat against the frozen glass ocean.
The entity thrashed wildly under my immense crushing weight. I had poured all my power in pinning him down and I was going to make sure that he does not get away with this at all. i do not like my enemies coming back for me.
"Your cosmic order is cancelled," I growled.
"You are nothing but a pawn of fate and I do not give a flying F about it. A fake God! You are worth nothing at all and every organism on this planet will be quite happy when you are eliminated from existence!"
I plunged my heavy brass gauntlets directly into the center of the celestial chest plate. The blinding divine light burned aggressively against my green skin but the Level 200 Dragon-Mech armor perfectly insulated my biology. I gripped the thick ribcage and pulled outward with absolute savage force.
The celestial chest cavity tore completely open.
The Calamity let out a deafening horrifying scream.
I reached deep inside the blinding light. I grabbed the massive pulsing Celestial Core. It felt exactly like holding a miniature burning star. I violently ripped the core completely out of the screaming God.
The Angelic Calamity instantly collapsed. Its glowing body rapidly dissolved into fine golden ash blowing across the dark glass battlefield.
I stood up slowly. I held the colossal burning star in my right hand. I did not hesitate. I crushed the Celestial Core in my grip and forcefully absorbed the absolute concentrated cosmic energy.
DING!
[System Alert: Level 210 Celestial Core consumed.]
[Sovereign Core efficiency violently increased. You are now Level 212.]
[Unprecedented Achievement Unlocked. Ultimate Title Acquired: The God Butcher.]
[Notice: Your conceptual magic now bypasses all divine immunities permanently.]
The immense overwhelming power flooded my veins. The draconic reactor roared with newfound infinite fuel. The Flame of Death burning on my knuckles turned into a terrifying absolute void. I had physically executed the ultimate authority of the heavens.
Rolf bounded across the shattered glass. The Silver Colossus was covered in the golden blood of the lesser angels. Ursa the Dire-Bear followed closely behind him. The Vanguard had completely eradicated the summoned holy minions.
"The target is destroyed Alpha," Rolf panted heavily. He looked at the empty pile of golden ash in absolute awe.
"We saved the capital. The World actually. Will this be the end of it? You slayed the God. "
I looked down at the dark glass ocean.
"No," I whispered.
"We just started the true war. This war will be the deciding Factor that will decide the fate of this entire world! We had conquered the World but we need to get ready for the next War."
"What war?" Rolf asked.
"Just wait for it! It is coming soon enough! I feel it. Right at the edge of the space, I feel our enemies coming for the revenge! This will not be the last of it. We need to eliminate this threat from the ground." I replied.
The golden blood of the Calamity still pooled on the shattered glass ocean. The divine liquid suddenly began to violently boil.
It flashed with blinding intense light. It acted as an absolute beacon transmitting a massive signal directly into the deepest void of space.
The dark storm clouds above the ocean violently split apart.
The sky did not just crack this time. The heavens tore completely open from horizon to horizon.
I looked up through my glowing red visor. Pouring out of the massive cosmic rift were millions of heavily armored lesser angels.
"There they are! Our enemies!" I said as looked at them with a grim face.
Behind the winged infantry floated colossal towering divine warships forged from pure white marble and gold. The true Heavenly Pantheon had arrived.
They did not look down at the Azure Sea. The massive floating armada was pointing directly West. They ignored me entirely.
"Why are they moving straight to the Capital? Why are they ignoring me? I do not understand. Is it because they intend to destroy the whole population? That is not a good idea. Definitely not a good idea!" I said.
"What shall we do Sovereign? Please tell us your orders." Rolf asked.
"Move our troops to the Capital at the highest speed. I will intercept them in the sky." I said as I moved with supersonic speed to intercept them.
These Monsters were not ready what was coming for them.
