Chapter 664: Gone, Just Like That

The people of the Demonic Domain, along with the entire Demonic Domain itself, were about to disappear. At this moment, the people of the Immortal Domain found that they weren’t as happy as they’d imagined. Their sworn enemies were leaving—they should have been ecstatic. Why, then, did they feel nothing but a numb sense of bewilderment?

A ridiculous thought surfaced in their minds. The feeling was complex, as if they were the ones being left behind, abandoned.

Their lifelong nemeses.

Mortal foes they were desperate to eliminate.

But their enemies weren’t being destroyed by them; they were simply moving away on their own. The feeling was hard to describe, like throwing a punch into a wad of cotton—completely silent, with no impact.

‘No, no, the people of the Demonic Domain are cruel and ruthless, killing without a second thought. It’s for the best that these Demons are leaving. For the best. With these scourges gone, we should be setting off firecrackers to celebrate. How can we feel something so ridiculous?’

The only thing that made them want to vomit blood was that, not only had their enemies left, but they had also split this world in two and taken half of it with them. The world’s territory had been suddenly reduced by half. From now on, the place known as the Demonic Domain would no longer be a part of their world.

Before they could even react, Javier Sinclair’s figure vanished into the void, silent and traceless. He was gone, as if he had never been there at all.

“He’s gone.”

“He really just left like that.”

This was completely different from what they had expected. They had previously assumed that the Demonic Domain’s massive mobilization was a prelude to conquering the Immortal Domain and unifying the world. They had even formed an alliance of various powers to counter this threat. But in reality, their enemies had no such intention at all.

“So the Demonic Domain really wasn’t planning to attack our Immortal Domain. They just up and left, and the Demonic Domain’s territory vanished along with them.”

Just as Javier Sinclair had said, he had packed up the entire Demonic Domain and taken it with him.

The sky was still the same sky, unchanged.

But in this world, they could no longer find a single trace of the Demonic Domain. It had vanished completely, as if it had never existed, wiped from the map of the continent without a trace.

To split a world in two… that was something only a god could do.

Only one question now occupied the minds of everyone in the Immortal Domain: Who exactly was Javier Sinclair? Could he truly be the Demon God incarnate?

Once the thought arose, it was impossible to suppress.

The Demon God. According to legend, he was a figure from Ancient Times, the supreme existence in the Demon Realm.

Cold sweat trickled down their backs.

‘All this time, we’ve been clamoring to fight and kill everyone in the Demonic Domain, to fight and kill this great power. But perhaps from the very beginning, he couldn’t even be bothered to stoop to our level. Otherwise, we might not have survived to this day.’

At that moment, it could only be said that they had stumbled upon the truth.

Today, they had witnessed history in the making.

Some even recorded the scene they had witnessed today.

The Demon God was real.

Perhaps thousands of years from now, their descendants would read the records about the Demonic Domain in ancient texts and assume it was all fiction—that a place called the Demonic Domain had never existed, and neither had the Demon God.

The Demonic Domain had become history, an unforgettable chapter of the past.

「Meanwhile.」

Javier Sinclair, having vanished into the void, did not immediately return to the Demonic Domain. Instead, he reached out and plucked a figure directly from the emptiness.

He held the person in the air, his hand clamped around their neck. “Did you think I wouldn’t be able to catch you just because you were hiding here?”

The captured man’s eyes were wide as he stared at the person before him in utter disbelief. “No… this is impossible.” ‘I have a Divine Artifact from Empyria that conceals my presence. I can move freely anywhere in this world; how could I have been caught?’

As if reading his thoughts, Javier Sinclair raised his other hand, revealing a pair of bells radiating Divine Power. “Are you looking for these?”

Seeing the pair of bells in his hand, the man he held captive reached out to snatch them back.

“Give them back.”

Javier Sinclair crushed them to pieces right in front of him.

“No…”

Javier Sinclair raised a hand and snapped his fingers, and an enclosed space formed around them.

With a flick of his hand, he slammed the man he was holding onto the ground.

“You were the one who lured the Ancient Abyssal Brood? Not just to the Immortal Domain before, but the Swarm that invaded the Twin Realms as well—that was all you.”

After being thrown to the ground, the man scrambled to get up. But an unseen force pinned him down, and before he could rise, he was forced back onto his stomach.

Javier Sinclair glanced at him. “I discovered you long ago. I just wanted to see what you were planning. I didn’t expect you to dig up the Abyssal Aberrations left over from Ancient Times. You were so determined to provoke the Immortal-Demon War. Were you planning to wait until the Twin Realms had bled each other dry, then reap the rewards from the shadows?”

The man lying there said stubbornly, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Javier Sinclair said, “It doesn’t matter whether you know or not. What I despise most are pathetic weaklings who scheme behind the scenes. Someone like you, with no real power… what are you even doing meddling in all this?”

Javier Sinclair waved his hand lightly.

The veiled hat of the man on the ground slid off, revealing his true face. It was a face that bore some resemblance to the Crown Prince of Empyria. This person was, therefore, one of the Celestria from Empyria.

“Oh? A Celestria?”

Recognizing his features, Javier Sinclair sneered. “You people from Empyria are really something else. Always spouting righteousness and morality, chanting about slaying demons to protect the world and defend all living beings. In reality, you’re the ones who cause the most trouble.”

The man’s heart skipped a beat.

“You… you know me?”

Javier Sinclair replied, “Do I need to know you? Your face just happens to resemble the Crown Prince of Empyria.”

The Crown Prince of Empyria had appeared before, and Javier had seen him once. Therefore, the moment he saw this man’s face, he knew he was connected to Empyria. However, the aura of the man before him felt slightly off; he probably wasn’t a true member of the Celestria.

Hearing this, the man on the ground’s expression turned ugly. “The Crown Prince of Empyria? Him? He’s not worthy! I’m the real Crown Prince. He stole my position. That position should have been mine!”

As his voice fell, layers of malevolent intent began to pour from his body—a dark, sinister aura. This malevolence radiated a greedy frenzy, mixed with a motley assortment of resentments. All in all, the aura was quite complex.

Javier Sinclair glanced at him.

“You are Celestria, and yet you are not.”

As his words fell, the man on the ground’s eyes widened. Suddenly, he burst out laughing. “You see it, don’t you? You figured it out! That’s right! I am Celestria, but I was forsaken, abandoned. I only exist because of them, yet from the moment I was born, everyone wanted me dead. On what grounds? On what grounds?! This hypocritical world shouldn’t even exist!”

Javier Sinclair waved his hand.

Visions appeared before him, and he finally understood who this man was.
