Villain: Supreme Parasite System in Another World

Chapter 125: Web Of Plans Part 2

Francis didn't respond. He just stood there, waiting.

Inside him, there was already a suspicion that he hadn't come into this world by chance. Now, for the first time, that thought was close to confirmation.

Rynik continued.

"There were six Kings in total, yet only four were ever known. The remaining two died thousands of years ago."

"Died? You said Kings can't die."

"That is true. But the two of them were different. One had the ability to control space, and the other could even control time within a certain area. Even so, they could not escape the restriction of this world… until—"

"Until what?"

"Until Eerak—my sister who could control time—had a vision. She said that to lift our curse of immortality, we had to combine our powers and summon someone from another world."

"Summon someone… like me."

"I don't really know the specifics, or why you were chosen," Rynik said. "Their last words were only that they would find someone who could do it—and when that happens, we were to support him as much as possible."

It paused briefly.

"When you entered this world, we immediately sensed the power of our siblings within you. After that, we simply followed the plan they had already set in motion."

Francis's expression didn't change, but something in his eyes sharpened.

If that was true, then it finally made sense why the system had tasked him with devouring the Kings' livers.

"So let me get this straight… my mission here is to devour all of you? Meaning I'm supposed to kill you for real?"

"Hopefully you can do it. We have lived for so long that we even envied our siblings when they chose to sacrifice themselves. I hope you can give us what we could not find on our own… eternal rest."

"Couldn't you have done that a thousand years ago?"

"Unfortunately, even after we performed the ritual, the four of us still reincarnate after one hundred years. Eerak already warned us this would happen. Only a being that does not originate from this world can truly kill us."

"So even death doesn't end it,"

"That is correct," it said. "We return. Again and again. With memories intact."

Francis lowered his gaze slightly.

"And each time you come back, you just continue living like nothing happened?"

"We do not forget," Rynik replied. "That is the problem."

Francis understood where they were coming from. Living a long life was a blessing most people wished for, but when it stretched into eternity, it became a curse.

"What happens if I kill you? Will all the beasts tied to you die as well?"

"That should be the outcome. It already happened with Eerak and Lugar. But this time, it may lead to something different because of your existence. There is a chance they could still live through you."

"So you're fine with humans taking over the world after you're all gone?"

"We don't care. We only want eternal peace. The only reason we allowed them to grow in this continent is because Eerak told us the chosen one would need them to mature.

She told us to apply enough pressure to force their growth, and we even shared our power with them in secret, giving rise to what they now call Special Categories and hybrids."

Francis was taken aback by the revelation. Even that had been accounted for.

His arrival wasn't by an accident or a sudden twist of fate—it had been arranged with such precision that, a thousand years later, everything was already in place, like a meal prepared long before the guest ever arrived.

The system wasn't a controller. It was only a guide, pointing him toward what had been set out for him from the start.

"One last question," Francis raised his hand. "Is it really possible for me to revive someone who shares my DNA?"

For him, that was the only thing that mattered. No amount of power meant anything if he couldn't bring his daughters back.

"I don't have an answer to that. But if there is any being capable of it, it would be my two siblings who brought you here."

That was more than enough to satisfy Francis.

"Fine. I'll devour you now. You may find eternal peace."

"Thank you. I hope you also grant the same mercy to my remaining siblings."

Outside Rynik's corpse, the scientists sent to investigate the remains paused as their instruments suddenly spiked.

The readings shifted sharply—an abnormal surge in the electromagnetic field coming from deep within the beast's body.

CRACK!

Before they could react, a flash of light passed them. A strange sensation settled in their abdomen.

When they looked down, their faces froze.

Their livers were already gone.

THUD!

THUD!

THUD!

One by one, they collapsed to the ground as their bodies finally registered what had already happened.

In the distance, a figure wrapped in arcs of white electricity stood still.

A faint grin crossed his face.

"So this is the power of a King," Francis muttered.

He clenched his fist. The air around it tightened, as if space itself resisted the motion. For a moment, he felt it clearly—he could break a mountain with a single strike.

No liver points had been gained from Rynik, but the increase in his stats was beyond impressive.

He could only imagine what would happen after he finished devouring the remaining three Kings. He wouldn't even be surprised if, by the end of it, he could destroy a city with a single attack.

Without wasting time, Francis began his next move. He closed his eyes, and tendrils began flowing from his feet, spreading across the internal organs.

Outside, Rynik's wounds began to close.

Then, without warning, its eyes snapped open. The huge body moved and slowly pushed itself upright.

Everyone nearby saw it and froze. The scientists and soldiers were shocked for a moment, then some quickly took out their devices to record what was happening.

A strong gust of wind suddenly swept through the area.

Before they could react, Francis raised his hand.

The wind followed his command.

In an instant, their bodies were lifted off the ground and thrown into the air. The force scattered them in different directions, leaving them unable to resist.

And then, with a distant shreek, he took control of the giant body and summoned a storm so powerful that dark clouds quickly spread across the sky, swallowing the entire city beneath them.

He made the cloud cover dense enough to block satellite observation, while violent winds and constant lightning created enough interference to make any aerial surveillance nearly impossible.

Lightning flashed continuously inside the cloud layer, illuminating the city in brief white pulses.

From the ground, it looked like a natural disaster.

It was far worse.

EEEEEEEK!

Another deafening shriek echoed across the city.

The storm responded immediately.

Lightning began falling from the clouds in thick sheets, striking streets, buildings, vehicles, and everything caught beneath the dark sky. Fires erupted throughout the city as power grids failed one after another.

Panic spread instantly.

People ran for shelter, but there was nowhere safe to go.

The storm covered everything.

Inside Rynik's massive body, Francis watched without expression.

This was the fastest way.

And he chose the simplest solution.

End it all at once.

Another wave of lightning descended.

The clouds flashed white.

Thunder shook the city seconds later.

The destruction continued to spread as the storm grew stronger with each passing moment, transforming the entire region into a battlefield beneath an artificial apocalypse.

Five minutes later, a drop of black liquid fell from Rynik's corpse.

Then another.

And another.

Within moments, the drops became a pour.

When the black substance reached the ground, it moved as if alive. Dark tendrils emerged from it and spread rapidly across the city.

They crawled over roads, climbed walls, and flowed through shattered buildings.

Anything alive they touched was immediately seized.

The tendrils wrapped around people before releasing powerful electric currents into their bodies.

Screams echoed throughout the city.

Some collapsed instantly, their nervous systems overwhelmed by the shock. Others remained conscious but found themselves completely unable to move as paralysis spread through their limbs.

The black tendrils continued expanding.

Every lifeform it encountered was either consumed or immobilized, becoming easy prey for the advancing tendrils.

From above, the city looked as though a dark tide had been unleashed upon it.

Once again, Francis had found a devious and efficient way to combine his newfound powers.

CRACK!

CRACK!

CRACK!

More lightning rained from the heavens.

Black tendrils swallowed the streets below.

Caught between the two, countless victims found themselves with nowhere left to run.

Inside the giant corpse, Francis remained silent.

The storm and tendrils were not random acts of destruction. They were methods of harvesting.

Every life consumed fed energy back into the network of tendrils connected to him.

Every death strengthened him.

And as the black tide continued to spread across the city, the number of notifications appearing before his eyes began increasing at a terrifying rate.

There were so many that he had to block them out completely, something he managed to do surprisingly quickly.
