After the emotional reunion between Shani, Yami, Neelima and Dhamini, Surya Dev finally stepped forward with Sandhya and Chaya beside him.

The atmosphere around them had gradually returned to the warmth of the wedding celebration, but there was still a sense of wonder lingering among the divine guests after witnessing Devara break the three curses that had bound Shani for so long.

Surya Dev looked toward Devara with a proud smile.

"Devara, it seems I have been waiting for the right moment to present my gift."

Devara smiled and respectfully bowed his head.

"You have already given me your daughter, Surya Dev. I am not sure anything else could compare."

Surya laughed warmly.

"That may be true, but as a father, I am still obligated to give my son-in-law a wedding gift."

Sandhya smiled at her husband, while Chaya stepped forward carrying a small golden container.

She carefully opened it.

Inside was a single golden apple.

Devara’s eyes immediately focused upon it.

The fruit was unlike any ordinary apple he had ever seen. Its entire surface possessed a soft golden radiance, almost as though sunlight had been condensed into the skin of the fruit.

Tiny patterns resembling rays of the sun ran across its surface, and an unmistakable divine essence emanated from it.

Even the surrounding gods noticed the unusual energy.

Devara looked at Surya.

"What is this?"

Surya’s smile became slightly mysterious.

"This is a fruit that grows only in Surya Lok. It is known as the Golden Apple."

He carefully lifted the fruit from the container and held it out toward Devara.

"It is one of the rarest fruits found within my realm. A single tree produces this fruit only once every thousand years."

Several people nearby reacted with surprise.

Even Devara’s expression became more serious.

"Once every thousand years?"

Surya nodded.

"Yes. And there is a reason it is so rare."

He placed the golden apple into Devara’s hands.

"The fruit contains an immense amount of divine essence. Anyone who consumes it will have their soul purified. Impurities accumulated through countless experiences, negative energies clinging to the soul and certain spiritual stains can be cleansed by its essence."

Devara carefully examined the fruit.

The warmth radiating from it reminded him of sunlight itself, but there was something much deeper hidden within that radiance.

"It is not merely nourishment," he said.

"No," Surya replied. "It is closer to a spiritual purification."

Sandhya stepped forward.

"That is why the fruit is never consumed casually. Even among the inhabitants of Surya Lok, it is treated as something sacred. The fruit requires a millennium of celestial energy before it reaches maturity."

Chaya smiled softly.

"And your father decided that there was no better occasion to part with one than his daughter’s wedding."

Surya looked slightly embarrassed.

"That too."

Devara smiled.

He could already tell that this was not simply a valuable gift. Surya had given him something that had required an enormous amount of time to grow.

A millennium.

A thousand years for a single fruit.

Devara held it carefully.

"Surya Dev, this is far too valuable."

Surya immediately shook his head.

"Nothing I possess is too valuable to give to the man my daughter chose."

Devara looked toward Yami.

She was standing beside her parents with a soft smile.

Surya continued, his voice becoming warmer.

"You have protected my daughter. You have stood beside her when she chose you despite knowing what dangers surrounded her. You brought her into your kingdom and made her your wife before all these people."

He placed a hand upon Devara’s shoulder.

"So accept this not merely as a gift from Surya Dev."

His expression softened.

"Accept it as a gift from your father-in-law."

Devara’s smile became genuine.

"Then I will treasure it."

He carefully placed the Golden Apple back into the container.

Yami stepped closer to Devara.

"Father kept it safe for a very long time."

Surya gave his daughter an amused look.

"Of course I did. Do you think I would allow anyone to touch a fruit that takes a thousand years to grow?"

Yami laughed.

Devara looked at the golden apple once more.

Among the weapons, jewels, garments and divine artifacts he had received that day, this fruit was perhaps one of the strangest gifts.

It could not be wielded.

It could not defend a kingdom.

It could not destroy an enemy.

Yet it possessed something far rarer.

The ability to cleanse the soul itself.

Devara closed the golden container carefully.

"Thank you, Surya Dev. Sandhya Mata. Chaya Mata."

Both women smiled warmly at him.

Surya nodded with satisfaction.

"Take good care of it."

Devara chuckled.

"I think I have already been entrusted with enough rare things today."

His gaze briefly moved toward Bhishma’s bird egg, the Valari given by Suyodhana and finally the Golden Apple.

Surya followed his gaze and laughed.

"It appears your wedding has become a collection of responsibilities."

Devara smiled.

"Perhaps. But I would not exchange any of them."

Yami quietly slipped her hand into his.

And beneath the warm glow of the wedding lamps, the Golden Apple from Surya Lok joined the growing collection of gifts surrounding the newly married king.

After Surya Dev and his family stepped aside, Devara barely had enough time to place the golden apple safely with the other gifts before two brilliant lights suddenly appeared above the royal arena.

The first radiance was blue-white, carrying the unmistakable presence of divine power.

The second shimmered with a warm golden glow.

Both descended slowly from the heavens, immediately drawing the attention of everyone gathered below.

The citizens looked upward in astonishment.

From the first brilliance emerged Lord Kartikeya, seated proudly upon his magnificent peacock mount.

Beside him were his two wives, who sat gracefully with him as the celestial peacock descended toward the arena.

From the second light came Lord Ganesha, riding upon an enormous Mushaka that had been enlarged to a size capable of carrying him comfortably.

Sitting alongside him were his three sisters, all of whom had clearly been watching the wedding from the heavens.

Devara’s eyes widened.

"You were all here?"

Kartikeya laughed as the peacock landed gracefully.

"Of course we were."

Ganesha’s enlarged Mushaka came to a halt beside him, and Ganesha smiled broadly.

"We have been watching the entire ceremony."

Devara looked from one divine sibling to the other.

"You were hiding in the sky?"

Ganesha nodded cheerfully.

"We thought it would be better to allow the mortals to enjoy the wedding without being overwhelmed by too many divine appearances."

Kartikeya gave his brother a knowing look.

"Besides, you know how much attention we would have attracted."

Ganesha laughed.

"Especially him."

He pointed toward Kartikeya.

Kartikeya immediately frowned.

"Why are you pointing at me?"

"Because you arrived riding a celestial peacock."

"And you arrived riding a giant mouse."

The two brothers stared at each other.

Devara shook his head with an amused smile.

Some things, apparently, never changed between divine siblings.

Kartikeya then dismounted, followed by his two wives, while Ganesha carefully climbed down from the enlarged Mushaka with his three sisters.

The moment they approached the stage, Devara stepped forward and respectfully greeted them.

"My brothers and sisters."

Kartikeya embraced him warmly.

"Congratulations, Devara."

Ganesha followed immediately, wrapping his arms around Devara.

"Congratulations, little brother."

Devara smiled hearing Ganesha.

"Thank you for coming."

Ganesha pulled away and glanced around at the enormous collection of wedding gifts.

"Coming?"

He looked at the mountain of presents.

"We have been watching everyone give you gifts for quite some time."

Kartikeya nodded.

"Your citizens gave you things they made themselves. The Pandavas brought their statue. The Kauravas brought the Valari. Bhishma gave you an egg."

Devara glanced toward the small basket containing the mysterious bird egg.

Kartikeya continued.

"Yama gave you the Samvarta Astra. Shani gave you his artifact. Surya Dev gave you a fruit that takes a thousand years to grow."

Ganesha smiled.

"And now everyone is going to think your brothers came here empty-handed."

Devara laughed.

"I never expected you to bring anything."

Ganesha placed one hand dramatically against his chest.

"How could we possibly do that?"

His three sisters giggled behind him.

"We are your siblings."

Kartikeya nodded.

"And since everyone else has given you a wedding present..."

He glanced toward Ganesha.

"...how could we possibly allow ourselves to be the only ones without one?"

Devara smiled warmly.

"I would have been happy simply knowing you attended."

Ganesha shook his head.

"That is precisely why you are going to receive something anyway."

Kartikeya’s wives exchanged amused looks.

They had clearly been waiting for this moment.

Kartikeya then stepped forward.

"Besides, we did not simply come here to give you another expensive object."

Ganesha nodded.

"Our gift is something we chose because we know you."

Devara’s curiosity immediately returned.

"Now I am interested."

Ganesha laughed.

"We knew you would be."

The divine siblings exchanged a glance.

Then Ganesha turned toward his sisters.

"Bring it."

The three sisters smiled and stepped forward.

The crowd watched with growing anticipation as the divine siblings prepared to present their gift to their newly married brother.

Devara folded his arms and waited.

After everything he had received that day, from children’s wooden toys to divine weapons and a fruit that grew only once in a millennium, he had absolutely no idea what his brother and sisters had chosen for him.

But judging from the expressions on their faces, it was clearly something they had prepared with considerable thought.

And for Devara, that alone made him eager to see it.
