Stardew Valley’s Farming Master

Chapter 267: Naba Refuge City

Early the next morning, Link submitted his application to the mayor’s office.

It had been nearly a month since the foundation of the New City. Everything was running smoothly.

The population had grown to 2,000.

At first, food came from scavenging and hunting. With the greenhouses completed, they were moving toward self-sufficient crops and vegetables. Before the coal reserves were depleted, the new mine had already begun producing. Forests buried under snow were being cut. Fuel might need rationing for a while, but the outlook was positive overall.

Steam pipes had reached the fourth ring, but pressure was lacking. Experts were busy improving the steam hub design—a midline pressurizing and heating device.

That was Link’s project.

The city had endured several snow flurries. Temperatures steadily fell below –35°C, but everything held.

With all the new equipment, Link had trained a capable maintenance team. The city was in its golden run-in period. Leaving for a while wouldn’t be a problem.

Qion hesitated, but agreed in the end—mainly because Link was holding the stack of requisition forms he had submitted for weeks without a single one fulfilled. His complaints weren’t just talk; he had reason.
