The system was backtracking on its own words It had even deleted the past conversation records to hide the evidence.

The system interjected, startling Rin.
He was still annoyed with the system, but that was not an excuse for him to ignore its advice. Especially when it was useful to him.

Rin just needed a second, but the boss refused to stay still. He needed a skill to bind the boss so that he could approach.
"Should I try holding the boss in place? I don’t know how much it will help, but I can try."
Teressa softly spoke. Rin immediately looked at her and got an idea. If Teressa won’t be able to hold the boss down alone, then maybe she and Rin could do it together.

Teressa nodded, not asking Rin how he would be able to help her. Rin took a deep breath before he looked at his system.

Rin felt like he had become a buffer in a team-wide party of damage dealers. It wasn’t a bad feeling at all, considering that he was contributing a lot at the moment.
His and Teressa’s combined skill halted the boss long enough for Rin to get within range

The boss’s list was much smaller and the system urged Rin to get stronger Unfortunately, it was not possible at the moment.

For now, it was time to deal with this boss.
Shelly attacked the boss from the right while Albus attacked from the left. Rin maintained his ability but Teressa was starting to falter.
"Reina, go help Teressa."
The medic looked conflicted between helping Rin out and helping Teressa out. But she chose to prioritize Rin’s orders in the end and head toward Teressa to provide additional healing.
Finally, this battle finally seemed manageable.
