Chapter 227: Indestructible
The werewolf lifted its head and howled. Every living things in the area showed up in his Osmocolation, including the Gray Creature.
It wad fast. Lightning fast. It lung at the Werewolf again and bit into its neck.
Its teeth broke. The Gray Creature widened its eyes.
Carter's hungry eyes met its gaze. The werewolf showed its teeth with a growl. Then it slashed at the Gray Creature.
One simple slash carved out its ribcage and sent a bone flying.
The Gray Creature whimpered and stumbled back. Its wound tried to heal but it was blocked right at the area of the slash. It had healing power but that power was now useless.
The Gray Creature roared at the Werewolf. An invisible shockwave pushed Carter backwards. His large werewolf paws scraped on the ground.
The Werewolf jumped forward, bit the head of the Gray Creature and crushed it.
The Creature was resilient. Its skull withstood the unimaginable bite force. It kicked Carter off.
He had already seen it with his Cursed Sense. Any attack within three seconds showed up vividly in his mind.
Carter grabbed the knee before the kick could connect and flung the creature to the trees. It went through many, causing the trees to break in half and fall.
Dorothy shivered. She turned back to glimpse at the scene. The howl of the Werewolf caused her entire body tremble.
"What... What is that?"
The Creature stood up. Its legs felt like noodles as it wobbled on the ground. The eyes of the Werewolf illuminated in the night like two glowing fireballs.
It disappeared from its location.
The Gray Creature widened its eyes and stepped back. Still, it was caught by the Werewolf.
Carter grabbed its throat and pushed his hand through its chest, grabbing its bleeding bloody heart in his hand.
The Gray Creature whimpered. Its head slumped down.
"Weak..." Carter mumbled. He let go of it.
The Creature fell to the ground.

'No Synchronization... As expected. Raising a Werewolf Synchronization needs something else. Killing is not enough.'
Carter's pointed wolf ears moved. He heard something.
Another Gray Creature came at him. But he had already marked it from before.
It jumped at him from the side. Only for it to be caught dead in Carter's hand.
'A sixth tribe?'
Carter clawed it, shedding its thin skin and thrashing many other bones with the strike.
He slammed the second Creature to the ground then stomped it with his feet.
These Gray Creatures were strong. They were much faster and stronger than the average Wolfman. But they were nothing to be compared with Carter's finest creation.
He crushed its skull into pieces.

The body of the two Gray Creatures transformed. They turned back to humans.
'So... They are a species of shapeshifter in the end.'
That wasn't the end. Many more Gray Creatures revealed themselves on the tree branches.
Carter howled again, marking every single one of them with his Cursed Howl. He knew their location at all times.
'All are Awaken. Doesn't matter how much you have! You will all die!'
The Creatures rushed at him. The Werewolf smiled. It moved last but disappointed first.
It lunged into the crowd of the Gray Creature and massacred them. Each slash finished off a Creature, killing them with utmost ruthlessness.

An army of Gabali Beasts was conquered by the lone werewolf.
Werewolf was singular. Werewolf was the lonely drifter. That was what Carter wanted in a werewolf.
Its power should bring an entire group of vampire to its knees. Vampire went by group. Werewolf should be alone.
The Werewolf stood bloody in a scene of its own creation.
The Gray Creatures were scared now. They slowly stepped back, trembling in fear of the unkillable werewolf.
This thing. It wouldn't die. No matter what the Creatures did. Its skin was like diamond and it fought like a storm that knew no end.
Carter growled. The creatures trembled and ran.
Then his nose sniffed.
'Maisie... She's in danger.'
The Werewolf disappeared, turning into a blur in the night.
Maisie was cornered by a group of Gray Creatures. She fought them off with the newfound power that Satan gave her.
But she was no Werewolf. She was just a Wolfman.
Soon, she was flooded with wounds and injuries. And her body was covered in her own blood.
The wolf breathed heavily. Its vision blurred.
But then. It saw the Werewolf. A giant hybrid monster with a wolf head, furry skin, and muscular frame.
The Werewolf tore through the army of the Gray Creatures like they were papers.

The Werewolf came to her. It looked down upon her.
"Weak wolf... You look pathetic." The Werewolf spoke.
Maisie widened her eyes. Wolfman couldn't speak in wolf form. But this thing could. It wasn't a Wolfman.
Then, within the crowd of Gray Creatures, a specially large one stepped out.
This one was an Elite. It was taller with longer limbs than the usual Gray Creatures.
Carter faced it. He was smaller compared to this hunchback gabali beast. But his chest puffed up and the Werewolf knew no fear.
The Gray Creatures was watching. They're waiting for the winner.
The Elite Beast rushed at Carter. He stood still, letting it attack him.
It clawed at Carter, only for metal scraping noise to fill the air.
It couldn't even get through his skin.
"My turn..." Carter smiled.
The Werewolf jumped forward, dragging the Elite Beast on the ground then flinging it toward the Gray Creature.
Maisie turned back to human. Her eyes widened in admiration.
In Carter, she saw the best of her kind. This was what a Wolfman was supposed to be. A relentless, merciless monster. Not a pack of wolves that could transform.
Carter slammed the Elite Beast repeatedly by his claw.
All of his skins were overpowered. An Elite Skin would easily trample another Elite. It could even fight a weak Champion. This Elite Beast was nothing to him.

And the beast died.
"That's it?" The Werewolf breathed. Blood leaked out of its mouth. The blood of the Beast of Gabali.
The other Gray Creatures trembled.
