Chapter 212: Pure Blood
"I..."
Dracula was intoxicating. Like a heavy wine with a taste so sweet you couldn't stop. She felt like she had drunk many glasses without even touching one.
His scent was overwhelming. His voice was sincere. And his eyes could talk a thousand words.
Carter advanced. His hands trailed down and released the string in front of her chest, letting her dress drop down.
His rough hands explored her body. She moaned deeply.
Dracula had won. And Frankenstein had lost.
'It is unfortunate, little bird. Your Fate with Frankenstein has ended. Now you belong to Dracula.'
Carter picked her up and carried her to his bed. The moonlight shined over their perfect body.
The pocket watch spun rapidly. Its hands went out of control.
The Doll frowned. 'There is something happening with the Destiny Watch, original.'
Carter heard it. But he continued. The man was on top of her, kissing her dearly on the neck, where the scent of her blood was most concentrated.
'Just the usual plan. Is the skin reacting?' Carter replied to the Doll.
'Hmm. This may permanently change Frankenstein's Fate. It is setting him on a dark path. A path of no return. That is what I learned from Apothecary's poor Divination.' The Doll's voice echoed.
'Isn't that just who Frankenstein really was? He couldn't find an enlightenment path. Maybe because it is lacking a catalyst.'
'Reasonable deduction. Let's hope it will bring more power to us.' The Doll put the pocket watch away.
Dr. Watson knocked on the door.
"Come in." The Doll said.
"Working late as usual, eh?" Dr. Watson said.
The Doll shrugged. "Can't help it. I must save this city."
"Did your assistance take a day off today?" Dr. Watson said.
"No. We have… an argument. She is no longer my assistant."
"Is that right? I saw her with another man earlier. Are you not going to stop her?"
"Why? What she did in her free time is not my concern." The Doll stuck to the character through and through.
Amelia arched her back as she felt the overwhelming pain and pleasure at the same time.
"I can't... This is too much." Her eyes teared up. The sensation was too much.
Carter put a finger on her soft lips.
"This is just the beginning. I will show you the world of pleasure."
He leaned down and hugged her tightly. His fangs shot out and he bit into her neck. The warm delicious blood flooded into him like a tsunami.
Her blood was truly divine.

Each drop of blood was equal to five percent of Synchronization. And the taste of it alone was addictive like drugs.
Carter finally understood why some vampires couldn't stop drinking blood. If this was what they got, they would never stop.
And Carter didn't know if he could stop.
He drank greedily and ruthlessly.
"Stop! I'm hurt!" Amelia groaned. Her legs wrapped around his hips. She could escape.
Carter's eyes glowed blood red like a caged animal that tasted freedom for the first time.
He never would have stopped. He would have lost in the sensation of the moment and killed her there.
If he was truly Dracula.
But he wasn't. He was just an actor playing Dracula. And he had the power to resist its temptation.
Will of Steel, one of the first ability he ever got, showed its power.
The bloodlust calmed down. A cold sobriety washed over his mind.

'Damn! All of that just from a 750 mL of blood? This girl is a gold mine!'
Carter stopped.
And the ecstasy came to Amelia. Her body convulsed uncontrollably. The bite of the vampire was first painful, and later delirious. A vampire may get addicted to drinking blood.
But its victim would get even more addicted to be bitten.
The sensation was amplified even higher because of the intimacy of their intertwined body.
"You're mine now, Amy." Carter kissed her on the lips. "You're mine and mine only. No one can get you."
He didn't turn her into a vampire yet. He didn't know if it would remove the uniqueness of her blood.
He would only turn her once he had no longer needed her blood.
Beside, it was always a smart idea to give an opportunity for the protagonist to turn the boat around when the antagonist was winning.
The night passed. Victor Frankenstein worked tirelessly in the largest medical facility in all of Anglas. He saved many lives that night.
And he shall save even more lives in the future.
But he could never save her.
Dr. Watson snuck to the balcony and lit a cigarette. He despised smoking. He hated its smell.
But a cigarette a day kept his nightmare away. The veteran blew off a puff of smoke into the night.
Maria was somewhere inside this busy city, looking up the same night sky, wondering where was that witch that Satan had mentioned.
'It is already a month. Where is she? I can't even find her with my divination. She is very powerful.'
Charles passed by Florence's room and saw her kicking her blanket away. He smiled silently and tucked her in.
Beatrice saw the same night sky a few hundred miles away, in the safe parameter of her coven.
"Tell us what you have found, sister." Another witch said.
"I found... unbearable news for us Cursed Bloods. Anglas is in turmoil. The Necromancers are in a hurry to grow their power. The new vampires hide themselves and operate in secrecy. And the Princes of Darkness are just lurking around the corner. We witches need to pick a side. A war is coming."
The witches discussed among each other. Whispers spread.
The sun rose and Amelia's eyelids fluttered open. Her body was sore. Especially the lower area and around her neck.
But she was loved. She was satisfied. And she could still feel the sensation from last night crawling around her naked body.
Then the realization struck her. She pulled the blanket up to cover her bare chest.
"What... What have I done?"
