Chapter 95: Elite Cyborg
A questionable noise came out from the robot.
The robot shot forward. It was quick. Elite-level quick.
The black robot punched the shield, causing the feet of the skeleton to scrape on the few meter and sending the skeleton backwards.
"How? A mere Awaken just blocked me."
’Now the real fun begins.’
But it underestimated the Skeleton greatly. The robot was flung into the wall. Its heavy body created a huge dent on the metal surface.
This wasn’t just any metal. It was Cyber Runner’s artificial metal. It was stronger and more durable than any type of steel that you could find in Terrorstate.
It didn’t succeed. The Necron Force was a denser and higher in power than pure electricity. It was naive for the robot to think that it could repulse this green energy.
Shockwave spread out from the point of contact. It reached even the outside of this futuristic facility and spread to the outside shell.
People on the outside covered their ears.
"Scaballolan!" Back in the core room, the robot tapped his chest.
The robot delivered a wide haymaker at Carter’s face and caused his entire body to shove to the ground.
"No one can keep up with the Scaballolan!" The robot’s mechanical voice echoed.
"You have a hard shell, huh? I’ll break it apart!" The robot laughed manically.
The robot slipped the thrust and caught Carter’s arm. He used his entire shoulder to break the joint of the arm and then kicked Carter.
His right arm was completely broken in two. The sleeve of the armor prevented it from dropping.
"You’re one strong Awaken, skull. You may even be the strongest one I’ve seen. But you are still just an Awaken. Only an Elite can kill and Elite."
The skeleton stood up. The green circle on his chest armor had disappeared by half. It tapped on the circle twice.
The skeleton exploded into a green cloud.
A large bone hand grabbed the robot’s fist.
The cloud dissipated and in front of him was a large monstrous Skeleton. The metallic armor disappeared. It fused into the white bones and made ancient runic patterns appeared.
The hands grabbed the robot tightly.
The green energy invaded the robot. Even death came for the machines as the steel rotted and the circuits broke.
Smoke exuded out of the robot as it used all of its power. But it couldn’t escape the skeleton.
The Soul Cyborg felt death coming for him. A concept he had forgotten for many years. As Necron Force leaked into every corner of the machines, it also found his soul. The fragments scattered around the circuit and metal.
"Mercy... is no more." The skeleton’s deep voice echoed.
The bone scythe appeared on the sky of the burning facility. It had grown much larger than before.
All the personnel of his military also froze.
Along with it was its body, dissipating away without any sign that it had lived.

The Skeleton Knight’s Necron Force enlarged exponentially as Carter had just killed an Elite being.
Carter dropped down on his knees. The injury and exhaustion while wearing another skin carried over. The host had to endure it all.

Carter felt better already. The damage caused the skin of Shadow Apothecary cracked open. But the healing potion sealed it back up. And the mana potion filled the missing supernatural energy he had lost.
