Chapter 82: Hoarding Whore
It was time for Carter to leave. But he wasn’t in any hurry. He had to do a few things before he left.
With the knowledge he acquired in Corrupted Corps, synthesizing new potions were rather easy. So with the connections and wealth he now had, Carter acquired as much rare ingredients as possible.
He then synthesized as much useful potions as he could. Those that could prove useful for himself and his allies. And in the process, Synchronization of Shadow Apothecary also exceeded 100%.

Apothecary Stomach was an obvious choice. It made him immune to ordinary poison. As for Awaken potion and above, it minimized the harmful effects and prolonged powerful ones. A perfect power for every skin.
He also gained a lot of different kind of potions.
Carter used up the Pale Star Fruit and Croconut from before. He also gained a few more from the Evening Social Club.

After that, Carter put on Eldritch Skeleton Knight and he began grave robbing. He robbed as many graves as possible around Anglas in order to acquire more Human Shards.
Human, because of their large number, was the easiest to reach Elite Rank in Carter’s mind. All he needed was enough human corpses to make one.
Carter did not hold back this time and he intended to rob every single big graveyards in Anglas.
On day three, Carter was wearing the Skeleton Knight and held a metal shovel he stole from somewhere and dug up the graves.
The grave keeper heard the commotion. He grabbed a lantern and went out to the cemetery at night.
Working in this line of job was either a man so brave or a man so jaded that they weren’t scared of ghosts or Undead no more. Or sometimes, they were just crazy.
Samuel was all of them. He was a brave man in the past and fought many wars. He was jaded by the death he had seen, which left him a little bit mad in the mind.
Samuel froze as the light of the lantern shined toward the skeleton in the purple cloak.
The skeleton looked up at him.
Samuel didn’t run nor panic. He placed the lantern down and raised his rifle.
"You choose a wrong place to cause trouble, Undead." He said with a slur at the end.
Carter stopped digging and observed the man. "You don’t sound like you belong here."
"I’m from the New Era." Samuel said.
New Era. The new continent that they discovered a few years ago. It had become a place of its own with many residents of Anglas moving over. This man here, for some reasons, did the opposite.
"Why did you leave New Era?" Carter said.
Samuel shrugged, "Too much gunpowder. Too much deaths. It’s a wild place over there, bones. I planned my retirement to be a little bit more peaceful."
"Sounds like the Wild West." Carter dropped the shovel and came up. "You know that you can’t stop me, right?"
Carter got so close that the barrel touched his naked rib cage.
"I know, bones. But my duty is to guard this place. And I can’t just let you disturb their peace."
"Even if I will kill you?"
Samuel laughed, "It is what it is. It’s part of the job."
"You’re weird man. And you have my respect. I shall skip this cemetery."
Carter grabbed his shovel and walked away.
"What’s your name, bones?" Samuel shouted over.
"People called me the Prince of Bones." And the Skeleton disappeared into the night.
Carter respected people with a character. He liked Samuel so he let him live. It was as simple as that. One cemetery didn’t make that much difference anyway.

A few days later. Carter had finished arranging everything in the City of Ghosts. Delilah continued to be the queen and looked after the Vampires and Undead.
Isabella would, technically speaking, represent him in Luandon as the Messenger within the Evening Social Club. Isabella lacked a lot of experience so the other First Generations would be her advisors.
Carter had also ordered the Social Club to frequently check with Delilah and they’re directly under her command. Delilah had lived for hundreds of years, she was a better leader than Isabella and the others.
As for Philip, the man was a fanatic for Dracula and would do anything for him. Carter assigned him to be a general in the City of Ghosts.
’The Undead side is taken care of. The Wolfmen probably can’t recover for a while. I have submitted leave in the Institute as well. It’s time to return to Terrorstate.’
Carter left the same way he had come. He brought nothing with him, only the Ghost Clothes on his body.
