Hey there! Quill here, just writing you all a quick synopsis. This was supposed to be the author's job, but, well... now I’m just a simple NPC who somehow became the author. So I hope you enjoy it!:
    It was just a normal day when the hero of the story gravely injured me. I was supposed to die and fade away as a side character.
    But right before I could die, I managed to grab his necklace, which gave me the power to become self-aware and to talk to you, the reader.
    [You have acquired a forbidden item: Hero's Necklace of Destiny]
    [You have gained new abilities:]
    [Self-Consciousness]
    [Break the Fourth Wall]
    [New quest received:]
    [Survive the Author's wrath]
    Now, it could have ended there, but the Author of the story wasn’t happy. I saw a massive pen crash down from the sky, trying to erase my existence. With the help of the system, “Big Boss”, I managed to slash the pen in half with my scythe, and the wall between reality and fantasy shattered, killing the author on the other side.

    But Big Boss says I need to finish this story, or else my existence will vanish with the author’s. So here we are.
