Chapter 78: Hi, sky high!
Seoha’s POV
’Where are you going now? The door is open now. You own my heart’
I take my pencil off the white sheet, using it like a light stick as I sing the fan chant part of the song, the part Minjae and I practiced for two days.
"Kim Yerim! Han Sol! Roh Jaemin! Kang Choryoung! Lim Suho! So cool! Fly high! Sky high!"
I pause and wait for the iconic high note from my bias, Roh Jaemin, the center and visual of Sky high.
’Baby, I choose you!’ his voice rings out through my earbuds and I hold the pencil to my mouth to sing my version of the note.
As soon as the song fades out, I look up to find Junho standing in front of the desk, and the beta looks amused as he holds a phone in my face.
I let out a startled scream before I can process it.
Being caught while singing like this is embarrassing, so I opt for greeting him instead, bowing my head and praying I wasn’t too loud.
He signals for me to take out my earbuds, which I do slowly, placing them down while they keep on blasting the next Sky High song.
"Minjae has been spam calling me, please, please take the call and end my misery" the beta says and thrust the phone into my hand.
"Hello, Min-" before I complete my words, my best friend screams on the other end of the line.
"Our men are back!" he yells into my ear, and I hold the phone away from my ear, "Minnie, calm down" I laugh, even more embarrassed.
We call Sky High members ’our men’ when gushing.
"Don’t tell me what to do, I just had a good cry and then I saw the news, Seoha-ya, we’re going right?" he asks and I look up at Junho.
The beta is staring at me, giving me the same flat expression Taesan usually has when he’s unimpressed...everyone in this place are just the same person with different faces.
"We can’t..." I say and he whines loudly, "just for twenty minutes, we’ll just go to the fan meeting and get back" Minjae pleads and I shut my eyes.
It sounds tempting, I crave a fun moment with him, I have only been within Mountain Atelier and Taesan’s home.
"Is your sex lord not letting you?" Minjae says casually and my eyes fly to Junho’s face.
"Minjae! I don’t have a sex lord" I drop my head, resting my forehead on the desk, and I hear Junho’s laughter.
Minjae!
"Stop embarrassing us" I whine as he snickers on the other end of the line.
"Fine, give the phone to that hunk" he says and I hand the phone to Junho without lifting my head, Minjae talks for a while and I zone out.
My thighs are aching, my inside feels different, my shoulder burns with the new bite mark...I wish Taesan would make it a real one...
He left me to attend to a private meeting while I’m left in Yuki’s office drawing my design for the red fabric.
"Two hours, we’ll leave and one hour, we return" Junho says and I lift my head in confusion, "huh?"
In two hours, I’m in line with Minjae, both of us hold hands as we wait for our turn to get Minjae’s album signed.
"This feels like a dream" I whisper and Minjae giggles.
Junho really took me out of Mountain Atelier.
He drove me to Minjae’s apartment, he made me sit in the car while calling Minjae to hurry him up.
Now, I am truly with my favorite idol group...does Taesan know?
"Minnie-ya, what exactly did you say to Junho?" I ask and he snickers, "it’s my secret, oh look! Han Sol is so handsome!" he gushes and I shake my head.
I lean in to him to catch a whiff of him, but he has a scent patch like me, I wish I can smell his happiness to replace the memory of his sad smell from yesterday.
"He’s looking this way" Minjae shakes me and I turn my head to find the siren of Sky High looking directly at me.
Roh Jaemin looks beautiful with his new red hair, his blue contacts complement the look, I have never seen a man more attractive.
"He’s so pretty" I say to Minjae, I look behind and find Junho standing in the corner, scowl on his face and his arms folded.
"The red suits him, I can never try it, should I do it?" my best friend asks and I give him a look, "let’s not think about that right now" I say and he rolls his eyes.
"If I dye my hair red, will my pup have red hair too?" he asks and I pull him forward, the line has moved.
"Do you think Seungmin...never mind, I’ll just do what I like" he says and I hold him closer to my side.
The line moves again and we stand in front of Han Sol, Minjae gushes while I stand next to him blushing, I have never coherently spoken to any idol we meet.
"Hi" Jaemin’s voice says and we both squeal, he came out of his seat to talk to us, the idol holds out a shirt.
"What are your names?" he asks and Minjae speaks for us while I stare with open mouth, "nice to meet you, our names are so similar" Jaemin says before turning to me.
"This one is specially signed by me, you’re cute" he says and winks as he hands it to me, his fingers brush mine and I open my mouth in awe, looking at Minjae.
"T-thank you" I stutter, dazed till we leave the entire fan meeting, "did the Siren just give you a gift, wow! I’m so jealous" Minjae exclaims and we meet up Junho.
"This is the last time I’m doing anything like this, get in" he snarls and takes us to Minjae’s apartment first.
"I love you, thank you for making my day, thank you hunk-ssi" the omega says before getting out of the car, and once he’s gone, the car goes silent.
"Why are you mad at me?" I ask Junho, "you’ll find out soon" he huffs and speeds off to Mountain Atelier.
And the moment I stepped out of the car, I am greeted by an angry alpha with a pair of glasses sitting on his nose bridge, Kang Taesan is standing in front of the building without his cane.
"Where the fuck were you?" he growls.
