Chapter 1243 - 1242, The Wise Shaman
The old Shaman and Chief Hasa’s sense of smell was still very sharp; they respected Ji Nuan, trusted Ji Nuan, and everything Ji Nuan did after arriving at the Sahara Tribe made them realize that this female Shaman was a very wise one.
So, following in her footsteps was definitely a beneficial thing for them.
Ji Nuan chuckled: "Of course, I won’t be polite with you."
"Though I say that, the matter of establishing a base will still have to wait until I return after my journey to arrange it."
"I just hope the old Shaman and Chief Hasa won’t forget about me."
The two orcs rolled their eyes with feigned annoyance: "Forget everyone else, but never you."
"Hahaha!"
The cave was filled with warmth and laughter.
"By the way, Chief Hasa, how far is the oasis where the Mogor Tribe resides from us?"
"Shaman Ji Nuan, are you thinking of visiting the Mogor Tribe?" Hasa asked.
Ji Nuan nodded: "I still don’t have enough double-humped camels; they can’t carry too many items. So, I want to go and exchange for some more double-humped camels."
"By the way, does their tribe exchange double-humped camels externally?"
The old Shaman nodded: "They do exchange their double-humped camels externally. Typically, it’s ten prey for one double-humped camel. The prey used for exchange can’t be too small; they need to be beasts like Desert Wolves or Big-Horned Beasts, those kinds of sizeable animals."
"But not many tribes go to their tribe to exchange for double-humped camels."
Ji Nuan frowned: "Why? Is there something wrong with their double-humped camels?"
The old Shaman shook his head: "There isn’t any problem with the double-humped camels. It’s just that orcs from other tribes can’t raise them properly. The double-humped camels exchanged from their tribe tend to get sick after a while. Shamans can’t always be treating sick double-humped camels, and gradually, all the double-humped camels would die. So later, tribes simply stopped going to exchange for them."
"So that’s how it is," Ji Nuan laughed. "This won’t be an issue for me. I have some experience in raising double-humped camels; Maomao and the others have always been healthy."
"Yes, Shaman Ji Nuan’s double-humped camels are much healthier and sturdier than those in the Mogor Tribe."
Even though there’s still much uncertainty, Ji Nuan decided to visit the Mogor Tribe to exchange for a few double-humped camels to raise and try. After all, their team had two Shamans; surely, handling a few camels wouldn’t be a problem.
"Uncle Shaman, have you ever heard of other Beast World Continents?"
During their desert journey, they let Maomao and the other animals roam freely without a set destination. Thinking back, encountering the Sahara Tribe was truly a stroke of good luck.
But they believed that Maomao and the others wouldn’t spend the cold season in dangerous places. After all, wild animals sometimes had a far greater sensitivity to danger than orcs.
The old Shaman furrowed his brow and thought for a moment before nodding: "When we attended the Great Trading Festival, we did hear the Tree Spirit Tribe mention that, apart from this continent, there are other continents."
"Far, far away, there is a very tall mountain. If you climb over that mountain, you can reach another continent."
"But no orcs have ever been there, so we don’t know if it’s really true."
Ji Nuan and Harry exchanged a glance. It seemed that the continent beyond the mountain that the old Shaman spoke of was the very continent where Ji Nuan and her tribe were located.
"It is true. My tribe is located on that continent beyond the mountains, and Shaman Harry journeyed to our land as well."
