Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 1225 - 1224: Treating the Wound

The middle-aged Orc was unconscious primarily due to excessive blood loss. After the old Shaman finished applying the medicine, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Nothing serious now. What he needs is proper rest. He’s lost a lot of blood and traveled a long way; he’s completely exhausted."

With that, he turned to the young Orc beside him and asked, "Do you have any other injured clan members? Bring them over quickly so we can treat them together."

The young Orc shook his head. "The wounds on the ones with minor injuries have mostly healed. Some suffered bone injuries during the fight with the Desert Wolves."

The old Shaman nodded. In that case, there was truly nothing he could do to help those with bone injuries.

As for asking Shaman Ji Nuan to treat his clan members, the old Shaman made it clear that he couldn’t make that decision.

Moreover, the old Shaman had his own concerns—they hadn’t even finished treating the Orcs with bone injuries in their own tribe yet.

"Uncle Hasa, the rest of our clan members..."

The young Orc looked somewhat embarrassedly at Chief Hasa.

Hasa smiled and patted his shoulder. "Don’t worry. I’ve already arranged for your clan members to rest in a mountain cave."

However, Hasa then glanced at the young Orc with some difficulty and said, "But what about your double-humped beasts? We don’t have caves tall enough for them to fit inside."

The young Orc nodded. "Thank you so much for arranging rest for the members of our tribe. As for the double-humped beasts, right now they’ll have to wait under the trees."

There was a hint of uneasiness in the young Orc’s tone. After all, their survival in reaching the Sahara Tribe was entirely thanks to these double-humped beasts.

After a moment’s thought, he turned to Chief Hasa and said, "Uncle Chief, I wonder if your tribe might have any unused space. My clan members and I can take advantage of the daylight and dig out a cave for the double-humped beasts."

Hasa frowned. "There is some space available, but it’s a bit far, and with the cold season upon us, digging a cave will be very difficult."

The young Orc shook his head resolutely. "No matter how difficult it may be, we absolutely must dig this cave. Our survival in reaching your tribe is owed entirely to the double-humped beasts. We can’t let them stay on the snowy ground forever."

Looking outside the cave, the young Orc saw the snow had accumulated so much it already reached the bellies of the double-humped beasts.

Hasa could only nod. "Alright then."

"Uncle Shaman, I’ll take them to dig the cave now."

The old Shaman waved his hand. "Go, go. But remember, make sure the cave isn’t too close to where Shaman Ji Nuan and their group are staying, or it might disturb them."

When the young Orc wasn’t looking, the old Shaman gave Chief Hasa a subtle look.

Chief Hasa quietly nodded and returned the old Shaman a reassuring "You can trust me" glance before leading the young Orc out.

The two Orcs went to the cave Hasa had arranged and called upon the uninjured Orcs. A large group of them energetically headed toward Ji Nuan’s area.

This time, however, Chief Hasa had indeed chosen a spot that was some distance away from Ji Nuan’s group.

Once the Orcs arrived, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work.

"Chief Hasa, are there any Orcs still living in those mountain caves over there?" The young Orc asked curiously, looking in the direction of Ji Nuan’s mountain cave.

Hasa’s expression turned serious as he gazed at him. "You must not go near those caves casually. Those caves are the dwelling place of a traveling Shaman."
