Chapter 1179 - 1178: Precious Potion
The Shaman has actually come?
Is he here to announce Lord Beast God’s punishment for Ada?
But Ada hasn’t woken up yet. He’s seriously injured this time. It seems the orc who hurt him is very powerful.
The old Shaman walked in directly, his voice loud, as if on purpose: "Awa is truly lucky. The Shaman today has already forgiven him. Shaman Ji Nuan even bestowed Awa with a potion.
I’ve already checked it. This potion is very precious. Quickly have Awa drink it. By the evening meal, he’ll be alive and kicking."
Outside the cave, the orcs were silent for a moment, then burst into loud cheers.
Awa has been forgiven by the Shaman and won’t be punished by Lord Beast God. What an exciting piece of news for the orcs.
Taking the porcelain bottle handed by the old Shaman, Ada’s hands trembled slightly. He hadn’t expected such generosity from a Shaman.
After all, he knew how serious Ada’s actions had been.
"Quickly let him drink it and wake up early to thank Shaman Ji Nuan," the old Shaman urged, without revealing even a hint of his curiosity about seeing the potion’s effects.
Harry, watching from behind him, rolled his eyes dramatically.
Ada opened the bottle cap. The instant he smelled the familiar scent, he even wondered if his nose was broken, looking at the old Shaman in disbelief: "This is..."
The old Shaman gave Ada a sharp look to stop him from continuing: "Hurry up and let Awa drink it."
Mechanically, Ada fed the precious potion in the porcelain bottle to his brother’s mouth. Thankfully, even in a coma, Awa was able to swallow, gulping down the potion directly.
Not long after the potion went down, the old Shaman noticed the pain on Awa’s face had disappeared, and he looked as calm as if he were simply asleep.
He breathed a sigh of relief and instructed Ada, who was beside him: "Take good care of Awa. I’ll take Shaman Harry to check out the cave. Once Awa wakes up by the evening meal, I’ll come back to see him."
With that, he left the cave with Harry.
After the old Shaman and Harry left, the tribe members swarmed into the cave. However, fearing to disturb the sleeping Awa, they all spoke in hushed tones.
After asking about Awa’s condition and learning that he would be fine, the tribe members felt reassured and left. A few females even brought fresh meat and fruit.
Everyone had their tasks to attend to: the orcs needed to patrol, hunt, and make weapons, while the females had to gather plants and fruits and process beast skins.
Meanwhile, Ji Nuan had reached the site where they would eventually live. The rocks in this area were large, but the distance from the lake was somewhat far.
To fetch water would take roughly half an hour.
Chief Hasa once again asked Ji Nuan for her opinion, but Ji Nuan did not change her mind. Instead, she mentioned a particular need: "I require some orcs to help us excavate the cave. After all, with only Brother Xiu Yan, our progress will be a bit slow."
Hasa nodded with a smile: "Shaman Ji Nuan, don’t worry, we’ll handle this matter."
Ji Nuan smiled back: "Chief Hasa, find some orcs. I also hope to have the orcs from the smaller tribe we used to live with join the effort. That way, we can share some food with them, as their tribe doesn’t have much prey."
Hasa nodded solemnly: "Rest assured. When the orcs from their tribe come to help, I will send orcs to escort them."
