Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 801 - 800, Armored Crocodile Clan

In the vast and mysterious Land of Death, at the very center where the Death Swamp was densest, the area was feared by the orcs of the four surrounding mountain forests. It was believed to be a place one could not come out of alive, yet it was paradise for the Armored Crocodile Clan.

They had thrived here generation after generation, the swamp’s rich biodiversity providing ample food. They never contacted the orc tribes outside, for they always remained hidden in the mysterious and perilous Land of Death and thus were never discovered.

The Crocodile Orc rushed back to the tribe incessantly. Without even time to wipe the sweat from his brow, he hurried to the Clan Leader’s cave.

Upon hearing the tribe member’s report that orcs had returned, the female surrounded by numerous males frowned. It seemed that they had not brought back the kind of orc she desired in such a short time.

Quite impatiently, she waved her hand dismissively, "Let him in."

The Crocodile Orc, drenched in sweat, entered and said anxiously, "Clan Leader, the Watson Tribe has blocked the wall connecting to the Eneru River. We can’t get through at all, and our tribespeople inside the Watson Tribe can’t get out either. What should we do?"

Hearing that the Watson Tribe’s wall was blocked, the Clan Leader, who was originally lying in a soft straw nest enjoying the gentle companionship of handsome orc males and fantasizing about acquiring the female Ya Li and Xiu Yan, instantly furrowed her brows.

She shook off the males around her and sat up, looking at the orc, "Then just take some tribespeople to dig that spot open again. It’s such a trivial matter, and you come back to report it to me. You’re just wasting food."

The orc, who was scolded harshly, instantly turned pale, his tone becoming a bit stiff. He looked at the impatient female and said, "The entrance is blocked with blue bricks from the Watson Tribe’s construction, and there’s a strange material within. Our orc claws can’t penetrate it." The female’s face showed a moment of anxiety, but her following words crushed the orc’s heart into the depths, "So it seems that I won’t get Ya Li and Xiu Yan."

The orc had thought the Clan Leader would first worry about the tribespeople left in the Watson Tribe, but she had surprisingly first asked about two completely unrelated orcs.

A chill ran through the orc’s heart, "Both Ya Li and Xiu Yan are highly evolved orcs with great strength. Our tribespeople left in the Watson Tribe are no match for them. We need to think first about how to rescue our tribespeople."

The female at the head of the group, her already harsh eyes turning even more sinister upon hearing him speak in such a manner, looked at the orc standing before her, her lips curling slightly with a chill, "Are you telling me how to do my job?"

The orc only then snapped back from his concern for his tribespeople, looking at the cold-hearted female leader, a layer of cold sweat broke out on his back as he quickly apologized, "I’m sorry, Clan Leader. I was just overly concerned about our tribespeople in the Watson Tribe. Please forgive me."

The female fixed her gaze on the orc for a long time, then snorted coldly and lay back down in her straw nest. Not being able to get Xiu Yan and Ya Li put her in a very bad mood, waving her hand dismissively, "It’s just one orc, if he can’t return, then so be it. How big a deal is it, go out."

That indifferent attitude was as if a thrown-out bone in the tribe had been stolen, utterly uncaring and chillingly thin, making the orc’s heart feel cold.
