Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 641 - 640, Jujube_1

On the tall platform, as if Nakula had thrown a lifeline, a flustered Bowman grabbed it immediately without waiting for Ji Nuan to speak, and scurried down.

"Uncle Nakula is right. I shouldn’t have caused trouble during the tradeshow."

Then, turning to Ji Nuan, he added: "Maybe next time. There will be opportunities."

After thanking Nakula, he led the Orcs from various tribes back to their places.

Watching Bowman and his fellow Orcs slowly retreat, Ji Nuan let out a cold chuckle. Not saying anything more, the thought of killing them wasn’t a problem anymore on the Beast World Continent.

"I hope Shaman Ji Nuan won’t blame me for interfering too much," Nakula said, grinning at Ji Nuan.

Ji Nuan stood at the Watson Tribe’s position, looking down at Nakula with a wry smile: "You should be a cop in the Pacific."

Ji Nuan’s remark left the Orcs at the scene bemused.

Nakula looked at a composed Ji Nuan: "What do you mean by that, Shaman Ji Nuan?"

Glancing at him, she laughed: "I mean you did a good job."

She then ignored Nakula who was still standing there, turned around and after speaking to Elder Mu Qing and other Divine Tree Clan members, she headed towards the positions for trades of various tribes along with Ya Li, Fu Yi and a small team of Guard Orcs.

The Orcs from different tribes had brought a lot of items which the Divine Tree Clan didn’t need, hoping to trade for Divine Wood Tree Branches and Leaves.

The numerous trade stalls weren’t any less in variety.

This uplifted Ji Nuan’s slightly morose mood. She managed to trade for quite a few good things while wandering around the stalls.

In the Guard Orcs’ baskets were fruits smelling of jujube that Ji Nuan had bartered. The fruits were wrinkled. Ji Nuan learned from the Orc she traded with that this fruit could only be eaten when it became wrinkled; otherwise, it tasted like chewing on wood, extremely tasteless.

Ji Nuan tasted one. The wrinkled, red fruit had firm pulp and it tasted sweet, just like the Chinese jujube. So, Shaman Ji Nuan didn’t bother to listen to its real name and arbitrarily named it ’red jujube’.

In the following time, Ji Nuan also traded for some unique herbs from the Kunteng Mountain range, then she reluctantly left with her tribe towards their residence.

Ying Yan had already prepared the game from the hunt and was setting up a simple stove for dinner.

"Shaman Ji Nuan!" Elder Mu Qing’s voice came from the side.

Ji Nuan looked over to see him walking towards her with a dozen members of the Divine Tree Clan: "Several major tribe leaders proposed to have a lively gathering in the open space tonight. Let’s go together."

Then he turned to look at her expectantly.

Ji Nuan twitched her mouth: "I didn’t realize that Elder Mu Qing is a party-loving tree."

Mu Qing broke into hearty laughter: "This tradeshow was very successful, I am just happy."

Looking at the prepared game, Ji Nuan waved her hand: "Leave a few games for the guards, and carry the rest to the open space with me."

And so, a group of Orcs, instead of going into their tents to rest, carried the huge game back to the place they had recently left.

The open space was buzzing with excitement. Many tribes were already preparing tender meat and fruits.
