The loud, sickening sound of Gu Tian’s entire spinal column completely snapping in half echoed through the dark tunnel, as Gu Tian spat out a mouthful of hot red blood and collapsed entirely directly onto the cold stone floor, and the dagger he held flew out of his hand.

He tried to stand, but his legs refused to obey.
Gu Fan casually walked directly in front of the screaming Gu Tian, raising his boot and stomping it onto Gu Tian’s right hand, crushing the finger bones into fine powder.
"Aagghhh! Heavens stop!" Gu Tian begged as his face turned blue from the pain and he collapsed back on the ground.
"Not bad." Gu Fan casually picked up the poisoned dagger, as he examined the blade, "At least you didn’t come empty-handed."
"Young... Young Master Fan..." Gu Tian’s face turned pale, "Have mercy!"
Gu Fan crouched beside him.
"I will! I will! You know how merciful I am," Gu Fan smiled, assuring Gu Tain, but his smile instead sent shivers through Gu Tian’s body, "But first answer a few questions."
"So?!" Gu Fan asked, "My dear brother sent you?"
"No! No! He never ordered me!I swear!" Gu Tian sobbed, coughing up blood directly onto Gu Fan’s boots as the pain shattered his absolute Dao heart, "I wanted to kill you myself!"

"You thought Gu Chen would be happy? Praise you?" Gu Fan’s handsome face twisted into disgust.

With a savage yank, Gu Fan pulled his bloody hand out of the gaping wound, ripping a massive chunk of Gu Tian’s thick intestines out of his screaming body, and with his other hand, he covered his mouth, muffling his screams, "Let us not make a scene. We are civilized people."
"Agggmmmm!" Gu Tian’s eyes almost popped out of his sockets and his body arched up, trying to push Gu Fan away.
But Gu Fan was too strong to let him even try as he grabbed the slippery strings of bloody guts and threw them away, draping them over a sharp, low-hanging rock like a bloody decoration.
Gu Tian violently twitched for exactly three more seconds, his mouth bubbling with thick dark blood, his hand gripping Gu Fan’s arm as if hanging for his life before his terrified eyes lost their light.
