The two, along with Tonks, instinctively gathered around Kael, ready to help him fend off the Killing Curses.

Three people meant three chances; with Kael’s abilities, he could definitely escape the encirclement.

"Don’t be so tense," Kael said. "We have reinforcements."

"Reinforcements?" Tonks’ eyes lit up. "Yes, of course, the Ministry of Magic should have received the message by now, and the Aurors should be able to get here quickly."

"No, I’m not talking about the Aurors." Kael shook his head.

"Not the Aurors? Then who, Dumbledore?"

"Close enough." Kael looked up. "Oh, here it comes. Just a heads up, get ready to become a Bludger."

What thing?

A Bludger?

Tonks hadn’t realized what this meant when a golden-red figure suddenly appeared above their heads.

Fawkes extended its claws, grabbing Lupin and Tonks by the shoulders.

At the same time, three Killing Curses sped towards their location.

But in the next second, the light of the Killing Curses simply passed through a flame that emerged out of thin air, and the previously present Lupin and Tonks vanished within the firelight.

"Good thing we made it." Kael sighed in relief and casually grabbed Sirius by the shoulder. "Get ready..."

"Huh?" Sirius turned in confusion to look at Kael, then found himself in another place.

In the distance, he could still see the small cottage and the decorations that hadn’t been completely destroyed, but there wasn’t a single Death Eater around. At a rough estimate, they were likely already a mile away.

"Apparition!" Sirius was dumbfounded. "But you just said you can’t use it..."

"Right, I can’t," Kael nodded, "but I have tools."

He stretched out his hand to display an inconspicuous ring on his finger to Sirius.

It was inconspicuous because the ring was snug against his finger, almost like it was painted on, and if you didn’t look closely, you might not notice it at all.

This was a birthday gift from Diana during his first year, a magical tool that allowed for three uses of Apparition.

The greatest advantage of this tool is that it’s not affected by external factors; as long as there’s no Anti-Apparition Charm, it can be used freely, and the malice brought by the Killing Curse is naturally no exception.

"Magic Tool?" Sirius blinked.

"What, if your skills aren’t enough, you rely on equipment, spend some Galleons, what’s the problem?" Kael glanced at Sirius disdainfully. "For someone with the last name Black, you need me to remind you of such a simple logic?"

Sirius felt his face burning.

When you can’t win, use magical tools. There was nothing wrong with what Kael said. Even a wizard like Godric Gryffindor had a Goblin-forged indestructible sword. It’s a very normal thing in the Magic Realm.

A more common example would be the Invisibility Cloak or broomsticks, also intended for convenience.

These items can be said to have no downside other than being quite expensive.

And the Black family was not short of Galleons.

"Or," Kael looked at Sirius mockingly, "do you think using such tools is dishonorable, and you want a fair duel with the Death Eaters?"

"Of course not!" Sirius quickly shook his head. "I just didn’t expect you to have such a good thing... The Black family never had magical tools capable of storing Apparition; if word got out, it would definitely be sought after by many."

Kael shrugged, not commenting.

The Teleportation Ring... let’s just call it that, even if it’s not as legendary as the Deathly Hallows, it wouldn’t be far off.

However, this clearly wasn’t the time for such discussions.

Kael looked at a few small black dots in the distance, "Looks like the Death Eaters have found us. They’ll be catching up soon, you’d better leave quickly."

Kael’s words snapped Sirius to attention, and he immediately started to run back.

"No, you should be the one leaving quickly. I still need to save Harry and the others."

"No need."

Kael stopped him. "What do you think Fawkes was doing when we were surrounded by Death Eaters? Having dinner?

"Its coming to us means that Harry and everyone else have already been rescued, with Lupin and Tonks being the last ones.

"As for exactly where Fawkes took them, I’m not sure, but it certainly was far from here."
