My Milf Conqueror System

Chapter 290: Singapore Connection

The logistics of an international rapid-deployment were a nightmare, but Vanguard was built for nightmares.

I left the safehouse an hour later, shedding the tactical gear and stepping back into the bespoke suits of Julian Croft. The transformation was instant. The black cargo pants and plate carrier came off. The charcoal Tom Ford went on. The USP went into a locked case. The Rolex went on my wrist. The ghost became a billionaire in under 6 minutes.

I took the private elevator up to the Wynn penthouse, collected my passport and a briefcase of encrypted electronics, and headed for the Macau International Airport. The whole trip took 22 minutes. No stops. No traffic. Ethan cleared the route ahead of time and had two Golden Koi SUVs running interference.

The private jet Nia had kept on standby was fueled and ready. Gulfstream G650. Matte black. No tail number that traced back to anything real. The crew was Vanguard. They didn't ask questions.

I sat in the plush leather seat, watching the lights of Macau fade into the darkness as we climbed over the South China Sea. The cabin was quiet. Just the hum of the engines and the soft glow of the laptop on the mahogany table in front of me.

"Overwatch, talk to me," I said, opening the secure laptop. The screen booted into a custom OS. No traces.

"We have a massive logistical hurdle, Julian," Claire said, using the alias. Her voice was professional, but I could hear the stress under it. "The office space in the Marina Bay Financial Centre is five thousand square feet of empty carpet. We can't furnish and staff a corporate headquarters overnight. Not even with Vanguard money. It takes weeks to hire, to onboard, to fake a company culture."

"We don't need to furnish the whole floor," I corrected, pulling up the blueprints of the office building. Glass walls, open floor plan, one secure server room in the north corner. Pantry. Two executive offices. "The Imperial Shadows operate in the dark. They'll infiltrate the building after hours. They aren't looking for a bustling office; they're looking for physical evidence that the company exists. Proof they can photograph and take back to the Empress."

"Servers," Nia realized. I could hear her already typing. "A tech investment firm needs a localized server room. Even if everything is cloud-based, they keep a physical node for compliance."

"Exactly," I said. "We need server racks, blinking lights, and a physical network architecture. If they breach the office and find a high-end server farm processing financial data, they'll buy the lie. They won't check the desks. They won't sit at a computer and try to log in. They'll slice, grab data, and leave."

"I can have a local Vanguard logistics contact in Singapore deliver and install three commercial server racks by tomorrow afternoon," Claire offered. "But they'll be empty shells. We don't have the hardware to make them operational. Not real servers. Not in 14 hours. Singapore import laws alone would take 3 days."

"They don't need to be operational," I said. "They just need to look operational. Wire the LED indicators to a battery pack. Run dummy cables into the floorboards. Load them with drives full of fabricated trading data. Put heat sinks on them so they run warm. Make it look like a secure, closed-loop system that doesn't touch the outside internet. Something the Empress's analysts would kill to get their hands on."

"What about physical security?" Nia asked. "If the Shadows walk into an empty office with no security, they'll know it's a front. A $50M firm has guards, cameras, access logs, a receptionist. An empty floor is a red flag."

"I'll be the security," I said, staring at the blueprints. My finger traced the elevator shaft. The service corridors. The HVAC vents. The emergency stairwell.

"You can't fight four Imperial Shadows alone in a foreign country," Claire warned, her voice tight with anxiety. "You don't have Ethan, you don't have your weapons cache, and you don't have the Golden Koi to back you up. If you get caught in Singapore, you're completely isolated. Singaporean law is not friendly to vigilantes. You get caught with a weapon and you're in Changi Prison for 20 years."

"I'm not going to fight them," I said, closing the laptop. "I'm going to let them break in, I'm going to let them see the servers, and then I'm going to scare them away. Make them think they tripped a federal response. Make them think staying means death."

I leaned back in the leather seat and closed my eyes. The flight to Singapore was three hours. It was the only sleep I was going to get before the cold war went international. My body needed it. Vanguard training let me drop into REM in under 60 seconds.

My phone buzzed. Encrypted message from Li.

`Be careful. Come back.`

That was it. No punctuation. She never sent messages like that. She was the Matriarch. She didn't show weakness.

I typed back: `I will.`

The cabin went dark except for the laptop. I started running scenarios. Option 1: Fill the office with actors. Too risky. Shadows would spot fakes. Option 2: Booby trap the room. Too loud. Option 3: The illusion. Make them see exactly what they expect to see, then give them a reason to run.

Nia pinged me. "Logistics team confirms. They can have the racks installed by 1600 local. I'll remote in the data feed. The LEDs will cycle like real traffic."

"Good," I said. "Send me the building security schedule. And the guard rotation."

"Already in your inbox," she said. "Noah... be careful. This is Singapore. Not Macau do not let your guard down."

"I know," I said.

The Empress thought she was exposing a vulnerability. She thought Julian Croft was a weak point in the Golden Koi's armor. A billionaire with no security detail, a public face, a fixed address. An easy target to prove the Golden Koi was a fraud.
