[BL] The Mafia Boss Wants My Body

Chapter 350: Two Weeks to Forever

Frank:What do you mean—?

Before Frank could even type another word, a sharp, echoing chime cut through the silence.

Ding-dong.

A firm knock followed immediately at his front door.

Frank froze, staring at his phone screen in complete confusion.

Frowning, he tossed the phone onto the bed, quickly slipped out of his bedroom, and walked down the quiet hallway toward the entrance.

He reached for the doorknob and pulled the door open.

The moment the door opened, Frank’s breath hitched, his eyes widening as his brain struggled to catch up with reality. Standing right there on his doorstep, holding a small travel bag with a soft, knowing smirk on his lips, was Raphael.

For a long, stunned second, Frank stood there like a statue, completely paralyzed by the surprise.

Before Frank could even form a single syllable, Raphael stepped smoothly across the threshold and lunged forward. He wrapped his arms tightly around Frank’s waist, burying his face in the crook of Frank’s neck.

"I’m here," Raphael whispered, holding him tightly. "I missed you so much, sunshine."

Frank slowly snapped out of his daze, his arms coming up to wrap tightly around Raphael’s back as a breathless laugh of pure disbelief escaped his lips.

"Babe..." Frank whispered against his shoulder, his voice trembling with joy as he held him close, still finding it hard to believe the man he had been texting just moments ago was actually standing right in his arms.

Raphael pulled back just an inch, a playful, teasing glint dancing in his eyes as he rested his hands on Frank’s waist. "Did I surprise you, or are you just that shocked to see me?"

Frank let out a breathless, disbelieving laugh, staring up at him as if he had just walked right out of a dream. "Yes, I was definitely surprised! I certainly wasn’t expecting a literal prince to just show up standing alone on my doorstep."

He stared at Raphael for a long, quiet moment, drinking in the sight of him before his protective instincts abruptly kicked in. Frank’s expression suddenly changed as he glanced past Raphael toward the hallway, his eyes searching for the security detail that should have been with him.

"Wait," Frank frowned. "How on earth did you get here?"

Raphael smiled innocently, blinking his bright eyes. "I came by myself."

"By yourself?" Frank’s eyes widened to the size of saucers, a sudden wave of panic hitting him. "Where is your security detail? Where are your guards?"

Raphael shrugged casually, completely unfazed. "I lost them."

Frank stared at him, his jaw dropping. "You lost them? Babe, be serious right now! Why would you sneak out of the palace and travel all the way to Central City by yourself just to surprise me? Do you have any idea how dangerous that is for a prince?"

Raphael pouted slightly, his expression softening as he reached for Frank’s hand. "I missed you, baby. What’s wrong with coming to see my baby? Aren’t you happy to see me?"

Frank sighed, a fond smile breaking through his frustration. "Of course I’m happy to see you, but you’re unbelievable."

Taking Raphael’s luggage, Frank led him further inside, closing the door behind them as they walked into the living room. Raphael settled onto the sofa, and Frank excused himself briefly before heading to the kitchen to pour him a fresh glass of water. When he returned, he set the glass down on the coffee table in front of Raphael.

Just as Frank moved to sit beside him, Raphael patted his lap with an inviting look. "Come here, baby."

Frank hesitated for a fraction of a second before giving in. He stood, stepped closer, and carefully straddled Raphael’s lap, settling comfortably.

Raphael cupped Frank’s face in both hands, holding him close. For a long moment, they simply stared at each other, the air between them filled with quiet tenderness. Then Raphael gently pulled him down, capturing his lips in a slow, deep kiss.

Frank’s hands instinctively drifted up, his fingers tangling into Raphael’s soft hair as he eagerly deepened the kiss.

Slowly, reluctantly, Frank pulled back just an inch, his forehead resting against Raphael’s as he murmured softly against his lips. "Baby, listen... I know you wanted to surprise me, but please, don’t ever do this again. Central City can be a really dangerous place. If something had gone wrong... I don’t know what I would have done."

Raphael offered a reassuring smile, his thumbs brushing gently over Frank’s cheekbones. "I understand, I really do. But don’t worry so much, I didn’t actually travel down here alone. I just told my guards to stay back at the hotel instead of following me everywhere. I wanted some privacy to see you. You don’t have to worry, okay?"

Frank searched his eyes for a moment longer before letting out a soft breath and nodding. "Okay, baby."

A gentle, teasing warmth replaced the lingering worry in Frank’s eyes. He looked down at Raphael, his voice dropping into a playful lilt. "So... what would you like to eat?"

Raphael’s gaze darkened with a sudden, mischievous hunger, a slow smirk spreading across his lips. "I told you already, sunshine... I want to eat you."

Frank let out a breathy, yielding laugh, a flush dusting his cheeks. "Then you have my permission, my prince."

Raphael’s smile turned wicked, and with a low, appreciative hum, he leaned in and captured Frank’s lips in another searing, passionate kiss. "You have me all to yourself for a whole three days, sunshine," Raphael murmured against his lips, his voice rich with promise.

Frank smiled, his eyes softening with deep affection. "Then I’ll make every single moment of your stay worth it."

"It’s already worth more than anything," Raphael replied softly, his gaze locked onto Frank’s. "Having you in my life is worth more than a crown itself."

Frank smiled, a flush of pure warmth spreading across his cheeks, and leaned in close. "Here, or the bedroom?"

Raphael’s smile turned wicked and deliberate. "Everywhere possible."

"Then let’s start right here," Frank whispered.

With a smooth, eager motion, their hands immediately went to work, tugging at buttons and pulling at fabric as they stripped away each other’s clothes, diving headfirst into a long, intense night waiting just for them.

*********

The morning sunlight filtered softly through the curtains of the master bedroom in Matteo’s estate, casting a warm, golden glow across the quiet room.

Matteo lay awake beside Adrian, propped slightly on one elbow as he watched his fiancé sleep. Adrian’s face was relaxed, his breathing slow and even, completely unaware of the thoughts running through Matteo’s mind.

A soft smile touched Matteo’s lips.

He had spent so much of his life believing he had plenty of time for everything. Business. Family. Revenge. Power. Everything had always been about tomorrow.

But now, with Adrian beside him, tomorrow suddenly didn’t feel far enough away.

He wanted more.

He wanted every morning with this man. Every night. Every ordinary moment. He wanted to wake up beside him for the rest of his life, to call him his husband, to build a home and a future together.

He didn’t want to wait anymore.

Matteo leaned closer, gently brushing a stray strand of hair away from Adrian’s forehead before pressing a soft kiss to his lips.

Adrian stirred slightly but didn’t wake.

Matteo smiled and kissed him again, this time lingering just a little longer.

Adrian finally shifted beneath the blankets, his sleepy eyes slowly fluttering open.

"Hmm..." he murmured, blinking at Matteo through his sleepiness.

Matteo smiled warmly. "Good morning, baby."

"Good morning," Adrian mumbled, his voice still heavy with sleep.

Matteo leaned down and kissed him once more.

Adrian smiled against his lips before pulling back slightly. "Why are you kissing me so much this early in the morning?"

"Because I love you."

Adrian gave a sleepy little laugh. "You always love me."

"I know." Matteo’s smile softened. "But I was thinking about something."

Adrian rubbed his tired eyes before looking at him properly. "What?"

Matteo took his hand beneath the blanket and intertwined their fingers.

"Let’s get married next weekend."

Adrian’s sleepy expression instantly disappeared.

He blinked several times, staring at Matteo as though he wasn’t sure he had heard him correctly. "Next weekend?"

"Yes," Matteo repeated calmly.

Adrian pushed himself slightly upright. "Are you serious?"

"Completely," Matteo answered.

"Matteo..." Adrian murmured.

"I don’t want to wait anymore, Rian." Matteo’s voice softened. "I’ve spent enough of my life waiting for things that mattered. Now that I have you, I don’t want to keep putting off the life I want with you."

He lifted Adrian’s hand and pressed a kiss to his knuckles.

"I want you to be my husband. I want to wake up every morning knowing you’re mine and that we’re officially building our forever together."

Adrian smiled softly, touched by his words, but then a thought crossed his mind. "Baby... I want that too. But next weekend?"

Matteo looked at him.

Adrian let out a small laugh. "Today is already Monday. We haven’t even told everyone yet."

Matteo smiled. "Then we’ll tell them today."

Adrian shook his head gently. "There’s still a lot we need to take care of."

"Like what?" Matteo asked.

"My father, for one. I still haven’t spoken to him properly. Maya told me he’s away on an important political assignment and won’t be back for about a week. I want him to know about the wedding before we set everything in stone."

Matteo nodded slowly.

Adrian continued, "And we haven’t even told our families and close friends. We need to send out the invitations, arrange the venue, get everything prepared..."

He paused, thinking for a moment.

"Why don’t we use this week to tell everyone and start making the arrangements? Then, instead of rushing everything into next weekend, we can give ourselves another full two weeks before the wedding."

Matteo considered his words for a moment before nodding.

"Another two full weeks?"

"Yes." Adrian smiled. "This week has already started, so we can use it to tell everyone and begin the preparations. Then we’ll have the following two weeks to get everything ready. That should give us enough time without making us wait too long."

A soft chuckle escaped Matteo as he pulled Adrian closer. "You’re right. Two more weeks."

Adrian beamed, resting his head against Matteo’s chest. "Then we have enough time to get everything ready without completely rushing ourselves."

"Alright," Matteo murmured, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "We’ll get married two weeks from now."

Adrian wrapped his arms around him. "Two weeks."

Matteo smiled against his hair. "I can live with that. But only because I know I’ll finally get to call you my husband."

AUTHOR’S NOTE

We’re slowly getting closer to the end of this story, and I honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come. Thank you so much to everyone who has stayed with me and supported this book from the beginning. ❤️

There are still a few things I want to wrap up before the story ends because I don’t want to rush the final Chapters. We still have some beautiful moments ahead, especially as we prepare for Matteo and Adrian’s wedding and bring the remaining side couple stories to their proper closure.

I know some of you may be wondering about Frank and Raphael. Their relationship will be explored more deeply in my next book as a side couple. I know there are questions about when they met, how they fell in love, and how their relationship began, but I want to save their full story for when they get the attention it deserves.

For now, let’s enjoy the final part of this book together as we prepare for Matteo and Adrian’s wedding and the closure of the stories around them.
