Chapter 101: Werewolves Vs Vampires (1)
Before Annie could contemplate what was happening she felt the world blur around her and in a blink of an eye she was somewhere else.
She turned her head and saw the woman they called Athi running while carrying her but her speed made no sense.
It was faster than her car, she zig zagged through the forest and the trees looked like shadows to Annie.
The surroundings started blending together and she was certain at this speed, the wind pressure should’ve crushed her body.
Before she realised it, she was already screaming at the top of her lungs but her voice was drowned by wind.
Upon closer look she saw a dark shadow moving rapidly in front of them and realised it was the woman’s hand.
She was slapping the wind away, ’ How is this even possible?’ Annie was so confused she momentarily forgot about Adrian.
Nothing she was seeing was making any sense, it took a short time for them to reach the city.
As soon as they left the forest, the woman jumped. Annie saw the group shrinking and they were on top of a building.
Then multiple shadows jumped after them, it were the black clothed people. " Are they..?" A sudden realisation hit her.
She counted 12 of them and grew worried, she wondered if this woman can handle them because she was certain she wouldn’t be of any help.
These people were almost moving as fast as the woman carrying her, there was no way a human like her can fight such monsters.
To begin with, she was a terrible fighter, she had trained in self defence before but her small statue and weak muscles worked against her.
Even with her training, she knew she would lose against an avarage boy her age, hell even girls her age were a threat.
Athi had also noticed the vampires following them but she wasn’t worried. If they were level 2 it would’ve been a different story.
While she would certainly survive, she wasn’t sure she would be able to protect lady Annie against 12 level 2 vampires.
Level 1 were a different story though, they couldn’t even be considered a threat, the difference between their ranks were too huge.
While she wasn’t sure what the vampire equivalence of Gemma rank was, she was certain it was above a baron.
In fact, even the lowest Omega rank was above a baron, that was easy to discern through the purity of esper.
While jumping from roof to roof she slowed down allowing them to catch up. Before Annie could react she found herself in the air.
" Huh?" Athi had thrown her up, Annie looked down but didn’t see Athi.
Athi turned and faced the vampires then disappeared out of thin air. This was her first ability.
Her second ability was creating daggers but unlike Louis she couldn’t throw her daggers or they would just disappear.
Two silver weapons appeared on her hands but the others couldn’t see them, they were effected by her ability.
The world seemed to slow down to her then she moved, the vampires didn’t have a chance to react before the first one dropped dead, Athi cut off her head.
The others reacted a bit late and attacked where the first vampire had been standing but they were too slow.
In the blink of an eye she was already standing behind a second one, none could see through her invisibility that even Adrian struggled with.
They couldn’t smell her or even hear her footsteps, in a blink of an eye, 8 of the 12 vampires were dead.
The other four grew scared and tried to run but it was too late. Her body blinked much faster than any of them could move.
They died one by one, by time the first body hit the ground, they were all dead. Annie saw all of this mid air.
To be exact, to her, the people below lost their heads almost at the same time. Athi had killed all of them in less than two seconds.
Annie felt steady hands grab her mid air and they landed on the roof of the next building and continued running.
Athi clicked her tongue in annoyance which confused Annie. Inside her head, Athi was complaining about the wasted hearts.
She prayed the organisation doesn’t reach there before her and take those corpses away or she would be pissed.
Unfortunately she couldn’t leave the lady’s side, not unless she was ordered to which she was certain she would not be.

Back on Karon’s yard.
Everybody watched Suzie walk towards Adrian with slow but steady steps, she gave the vampire who attacked Adrian a side glance.
Before the guy could react, a fist sized silver sphere blew his head off. The werewolf weapons were strange.
They were most definitely energy weapons but they looked more like weapons forged with silver.
With a faint glow as if they were reflecting the moon, their appearance was unlike other energy weapons.
One thing for certain though, those energy construct made of lunar energy were very powerful compared to others.
Even after blowing off the head of the vampire, the sphere did not even have a dent on it.
Before the vampires could react, more werewolves appeared and besides Adrian there were 13 in total.
Under Suzie’s orders, the 18 omega werewolves including Diego and Isabella were to be kept hidden.
She had advised Adrian to keep his unknown forces unknown for now and only a few people knew of them including Sanchez.
Even she only knew the 16 others but not Diego and Isabella but to make sure the news didn’t leak.
She was fed mindvein, now nobody can use mind control on her, not even Adrian, Suzie thought that was risky but Adrian didn’t care.
Mind control wasn’t the only thing keeping Sanchez in check, she knew his terror plus he could see her desire.
Speaking of which, Sanchez got in her car and left as soon as the fight was about to start.
She wanted to leave Fluffy but Suzie told her to take the dog for her own safety. The organisation agents retreated.
They stood far enough to watch the battle but to not be involved. Adrian the greatest terror in this battlefield wasn’t moving.
The werewolves started getting worried, they figured something was wrong with him much to the delight of the vampires.
Lokna grinned, " Is this the so called mighty wolf king taken out by a single kick from a mere level 1 plebeian? how pathetic."
He mocked then the temperature dropped, " Oh shit." Everybody heard a tall muscular werewolf curse.
It was John, he looked at his girl and the air around her changed. Her eyes grew cold and she turned towards Lokna.
" I see, so you want to die first."
