Chapter 82: Solving Grudges ( 1)
After everybody left, he was left alone in his house. He decided to study himself and his new level.
After reaching level 2, there were some changes inside him. His esper energy pool for one was much larger.
The esper was also denser, while it was still a gas of sort, there were drops of liquid floating in that gas cloud.
Even the cloud itself was much denser than before, he could feel that using his abilities with this esper would make them much stronger.
But the biggest change was to his physical strength, Werewolves were naturally physical strength type Fayera.
Which is why long ranged abilities were so rare, to the point besides him, only one has been able to gain one.
Adrain flexed his muscles and felt an overwhelming strength coursing through his muscles.
He felt like he could topple entire buildings with just a punch. Then he checked something else.
He could feel new abilities being created but they were all just abilities he already had in different forms.
He has just awakened one to create a sword of ice that was a metre long but he already had a similar ability.
The difference was just that, his first ability could create a sword a metre and a half long, plus he had water and ice control.
He also awakened a worse version of his telekinesis which can only allow him to control metal.
It wasn’t metal control, he couldn’t bend metal however he wanted, he could only lift and throw metal but not change its form.
However the last ability is what caught him off guard, " A coincidence?" He didn’t think so.
Not so long ago he desired a detection type ability and he just got it. " Lunar realm." He whispered.
That was its name, the ability allows him to spread an invisible form of lunar energy in all directions thus forming a domain.
Once the domain is formed, everything within it was clear as day to him but the domain had more than that.
Since the information is transmitted directly to his mind it allows him to process it faster thus increasing his reaction.
Adrain couldn’t help but grin, this ability was very powerful, plus he could create a domain with a radius of a kilometre around him.
Adrain continued exploring his abilities but the world outside moved forward.

Sanchez finally went back to work, his co-workers asked where she was and if everything was okay.
She had to reassure them everything was fine, then she was called by her chief to his office.
" Leave the dog outside." He told her, she could tell he was extremely nervous around Fluffy.
She told Fluffy to stay, Fluffy obeyed and stayed in front of the door watching what’s happening inside intently.
" What happened?" The chief asked and Sanchez played a fool.
" I wasn’t feeling well and decided to stay at home for sometime, I didn’t miss anything important did I?"
The chief sighed, " Lets not play idiots Sanchez, I know you know and Adrain called me, with you phone."
Sanchez giggled, " I’m sorry sir." Then she sighed. " My persistence finally paid off, just not the way I wanted.
After searching for Adrain for so long, I finally found him but he turned out to be more than anything I could’ve ever imagined."
" A wolf?" The chief asked, he had received some information about Adrain but he wasn’t certain it was reliable.
" I guess you could say that, the point is he forced me to work for him, don’t worry though, it’s not anything crazy.
He just want me to pass on to him cases that couldn’t be solved or looked suspicious like supernaturals are involved.
Then he started using my house as a base and things led to another, he got into conflict with vampires, they attacked my house and..."
" Shit." He cut her off before she could continue, she heard Fluffy growling and knew something was wrong.
She turned her head and saw a beautiful woman sitting on her desk smiling at her. " It’s daytime, how could she be here?"
Sanchez couldn’t help but ask because this made no sense and defied everything Adrain told her.
The chief sighed, " Sanchez, I hope you haven’t gotten us involved in that conflict, if you’ve seen these monsters then you know humans can’t do anything about them."
Sanchez raised her eyebrow, " Aren’t you one of those monsters?" He spoke like he wasn’t but she knew he was.
He smiled bitterly, " Oh, I’m anything but a monster." Then he looked at the woman on Sanchez’s desk.
" You need to take care of this and don’t get anybody else involved."
She nodded and went to attend her guest.

Charlie, Louis and Marcus rented a car, it turned out they were headed to the same city and decided to travel together.
They didn’t talk much during the drive, they were all too excited and angry at the same time.
But from the few exchanges they had, they came to know the people they were after were related.
This not only surprised them but angered them even more, to them it meant the entire family was rotten.
After driving a few hours they reached the city of Metron, it stood on an island with a single bridge leading to it.
They showed their identification and drove to the city. After renting a hotel they started their search.
Their targets were famous and easy to find but that also meant a lot of protection. Of course this protection was nothing to them.
But they didn’t want to kill wantonly, that would draw the attention of the organisation and Adrain had warned them about it.
This city was larger than Lagos and the branch of the organisation here was also larger.
If they were going to have their revenge, it would need to be silent and quick, not giving the organisation the time to respond before it’s too late.
Marcus and Charlie left to conduct their individual searches while Louis was left alone in the hotel.
Half an hour after the men left, there was a knock on the door. " Room service." A voice of a woman called out.
Louis immediately grew vigilant, while the voice tried to sound normal, she could hear the shaking beneath it as if terrified.
Not to mention she could smell two muscular scents next to her and knew this was an assassination attempt.
" They know we’re here already, that was quick."
