Chapter 81: Level 2
Adrain learnt quite a lot from that vampire, apparently she was the subordinate of Karon.
Her task along with others was to keep track of him, according to her there were more than a dozen vampires tailing him.
Adrain sighed, ’ I really need a tracking ability.’ his strongest tracking sense was rendered useless by the wolfsbane flower.
His hearing was even easier to deal with if you stand far enough and not make too much noise.
He didn’t go to his house but went to Sanchez’s house instead, he learnt the vampire have attacked again while he was gone.
Fortunately none of the three barons showed up, only their subordinates but his Werewolves never had a chance of rest.
Even Sanchez looked exhausted, she couldn’t sleep with supernatural blood suckers running around in her backyard.
Adrian’s arrival made all of them happy, with him around, they had a feeling things will get easier.
Adrain took out the three hearts, " These should be enough for me to reach level 2, fortunately the full moon is not far away now."
The full moon was three days away, Adrian wondered if he should let the werewolves lose on the Vampires that night.
Then he shook his head, that would be too dangerous and draw too much attention, he was certain they would kill everything that walks.
The night flew by and the vampires did not attack again.

Two hours ago, right after Adrain reached Sanchez’s house.
South of the city, a woman wearing a long black cloak stood in the middle of a forest unable to move.
Her body started shaking uncontrollably, her left and right side seemed to desire to go to opposite directions.
This contradiction was breaking her body apart but before it could fully break, a figure appeared in front of her.
Seyra giggled, " How interesting, for him to almost bypass my compulsion, it seems I’m still underestimating him."
" Break." The woman stopped struggling and fell down like a puppet with cut strings but her body stopped before it touched the ground.
Seyra turned into a cloud of bats and flew off and the woman floated behind her. They reached her house before long.
Seyra cut her wrist and fed the woman her blood. The vampire woman woke up and the moment she saw Seyra she went down in her knees.
" My lady." She greeted and bowed so low her forehead almost touched the floor. Seyra watched her with a playful smile.
" He caught you didn’t he?" She asked playfully and the woman looked down in shame.
" I..I failed you my lady." She whispered in a broken voice and Seyra laughed.
" It’s no matters, it’s why I compelled you." This surprised the woman, she looked up at her master with confusion.
Seyra noticed and giggled, " Don’t worry, I didn’t make you do anything too naughty."
The vampire didn’t laugh at her lame joke which made Seyra pout, unlike the others, she wasn’t as rigid with her subordinates and even laughed with them.
However none dared to underestimate her, nobody but her them understood how cruel their master can be.
" I see you’re confused, I drained the mindvein off your system and compelled you to forgot.
I also made you believe you were Karon’s subordinates and had you kill the others trailing that wolf boy.
It was necessary, knowing that boy can use compulsion I had to be careful in the case of what had just happened.
Now, he probably believes Karon is the one trailing him and I’m certain he sent you as a spy, you should be thanking me."
The woman looked confused, she had just told her she made her do things against her will but demanding to be thanked instead.
Yet she had no other choice but to thank her, " Thank you master." She bowed even lower and Seyra giggled.
" That sounds really fake, I’m hurt." She joked but her subordinate did not laugh, she was used to that.
" If I hadn’t compelled you or removed mindvein off your system, you would be dead right now.
The only reason you’re standing here is because that boy found you useful as a spy, otherwise you’d be dead."
The woman finally understood and genuinely felt grateful to her master.
" Thank you master, should I spy on him in return and act like I’m still under his compulsion?"
Seyra just laughed, " No, you’ll die the moment you stand in front of him, compulsion of his level is more intimate.
He can sense when it has been cancelled so he knows, don’t worry, just tell me what you saw and I’ll take care of the rest."
The woman nodded and started narrating the things she saw while following Adrain.
The more she talked the more excited Seyra got then she started laughing. " Good, you’ve done well, this will be very useful."

Days passed, Adrain had felt his compulsion being cancelled not long after he sent that female vampire back.
Now it was the night of the full moon again and he brought all the Werewolves back to his house.
Tonight was a very delicate night, if the vampires attacked, Sanchez might not be able to handle things by herself.
Fortunately she had Fluffy with her and that cute thing was very terrifying when it fight seriously.
The other Werewolves had reminded him of his promise but he had not forgotten, he did plan to allow them to have their vengeance.
In fact after this full moon, he would reach level 2 then set them out to solve their own grievances.
He also had another plan, he wanted to expand his pack and he already had his target.
After setting everybody below, the full moon stood above the sky like a hanging chandelier.
He heard bones breaking and wolves howling, fortunately Meggie had reinforced the house before leaving and the howling did not leave the walls anymore.
He also felt the energy inside him growing vaster and vaster then it condensed and the process repeated.
After a dozen repetitions of this, his esper energy grew extremely dense to the point it felt more like liquid than pure gas.
Then it nourished his bones and flesh and soul, he could feel himself growing stronger in real time, Adrain had reached level 2.
A heavy aura blasted out of his body and he howled drowning the howls of all the others causing them to whimper like scared puppies.
The howling and growling lasted all night but it was much lower and restrained and the next morning he told the Werewolves to go solve their problems.
Charlie and Louis were the first leave, then Marcus. Those three were the ones holding the most anger.
The others didn’t have anything that require killing but they did go to their former bosses and partners to punish them a little.
He looked at Sam and John , " I need you two to do something for me." They nodded and he gave them their task.
Then he called one of the werewolves, the woman with the ability to turn invisible, " You remember the task I gave you before?"
The woman nodded, " It’s time you begin your task and you’re going to assist her." He ordered Suki as well.
