The Lust Lord Librarian

Chapter 129: A Gift For Frogg

Using Wikipedia to do extensive research, Adal was able to figure out how to make one of the Outer Realm Gates.

It was a difficult process, yet at the same time, a simple one.

In the world of Boen, there were many skills that could link two awakened together. A few examples were skills such as Soul Link, which Adal had between himself and Opal, that allowed them both to manipulate mana with greater efficiency.

To open an Outer Realm Gate, two people with a connection had to stand between two locations that they wished to create a gate between. Once there, they had to focus on the connected skill, which would force open a portal.

The pair would then have to enter such portals and find each other in the Realm Between, which was a location wedged between the physical and spiritual world.

They would need to have an empty finger, which would allow a Ring of Guidance to form, allowing them to find each other. If they did not have an empty finger, the ring would not form, and they would inevitably become lost.

For Adal, the problems lay within this realm.

It was said that in this realm, there were dangerous beings that could not exist in the physical world.

He did not doubt his own abilities to defeat these creatures; however, he would also have to have faith in whichever woman he chose to open the other side of the portal.

It would put them at an immense amount of risk.

Adal cast the thought aside for the time being.

There were other things for him to pay attention to at that current moment, such as the store and his current quests.

After his rendezvous with the queen back during the Battle of Fairwhite City, he had managed to gain another 3000 credits, taking him to a total of 3300.

He had only one quest left, which was worth 2000 credits. It required him to make three women orgasm in the span of 24 hours, which was easy enough with his sexual stamina.

However, 3300 credits was enough for him to purchase an item he had been waiting to purchase.

The Staff of Terra, which was a staff that granted a great affinity to earth magic regardless of one’s class.

He purchased the staff as a gift to Frogg. It appeared in his hand, tall and made from redwood, with green vines spiralled up its length.

When he held it in his hand, he felt a similar effect to the Heaven’s Grimoire. If pumped with enough mana, you could increase the number of spells accessible to you.

Good. She will appreciate this.

The store resets in a few days. I will check again then to see if anything else is worth purchasing. I should have finished my other quest by then too.

...

With this, Adal slept until the next day.

He was the first to wake up, always, followed by the goblin siblings. Back when they lived in the forest, they had to wake up before sunrise to hunt for breakfast.

That habit seemed to stick with them.

He found them sitting in the library, working on their reading. Literacy was one of the main tasks Adal had set for them. It was important if they wished to adapt to a human lifestyle.

Frogg was the first to see him. Today, she was dressed in a long, modest brown dress, accompanied by white tights and black smart shoes. Her messy hair was no longer unkempt and instead tied into a bun above her beautiful green face.

"Adal!" she said, then her eyes went wide. "What is that?"

Adal approached the two siblings with the Staff of Terra in his hand.

He placed the staff on the table in front of her.

"It’s yours. A gift for your contribution in the battle."

Her eyes went wider as she looked at the weapon. It was as though she felt she was not allowed to touch it.

"Is it really mine..." she said, staring.

"If you don’t want it, I’ll have it," her brother Ibukk shrugged.

That was enough to make the goblin woman pick up the item and clutch it tight to her chest.

Immediately, she felt the effects of the earth magic affinity. She was no longer just a necromancer.

"Thank you so much, Adal. I don’t know how I could repay you!"

Adal rubbed his chin in thought.

"I can think of a few ways. Come to my room after sunset."

The woman didn’t seem to realise what he was talking about, but Ibukk blushed.

The idea of his sister being with the human still didn’t sit right with him, regardless of how great he was.

Before he could say anything, the next of his women woke up. It was the one who was also always up earlier than the rest.

Willow Collins.

The reason she often woke up early was simple. She enjoyed training.

After awakening the Author class, she had made the most progress amongst them, already reaching level 5.

She spent the majority of her time writing books, which contributed to her progression. Upon reaching level 5, she had awakened numerous skills and eventually chosen the Mage class.

For this reason, Adal thought that he would choose her to help him open the Outer Realm Gate. Though he would not come to a decision until each of them reached level 5, so he could see the direction that their classes were heading in.

...

After a few hours passed, everyone was awake and working. The library was open, and visitors had flooded in.

Even the sun elves visited the library, frequently finding a new love for literature. Adal suspected that eventually, he could open a library in the Glassborn Kingdom too.

Halfway through the day, a particular visitor stood out to Adal more than any others.

He was a strange-looking man, but not in a bad way.

His hair was purple and long like a woman’s. His face was chiselled and handsome in a feminine way, and his eyes were also violet.

He was dressed in what seemed to be peasant rags, which was confusing, as he looked far too elegant to be poor.

The man looked around as though searching for something.

Curiosity made Adal check the man’s system, and when he did, his heart almost dropped in his chest.

It was the highest-level person he had ever seen in his life.
