Chapter 420 Evil Deeds Exposed
Ling Feng carried Zhang Jinhua towards where he had parked his car, with Lin Xue following behind, unable to help herself, she blurted out, "Shouldn’t we put her down?"
"We’ll talk when we get to the car."
Ling Feng didn’t look back, feeling somewhat gloomy. He didn’t normally hit women, but this shrew had been so arrogant that he couldn’t help but slap her.
Although she was behaving now, Ling Feng still worried she might continue to make a scene, so he planned to shove her into the car as soon as they reached it.
He glanced back and saw that the women were obediently following along, while some busybodies from the town were trailing from afar, curious about what he was up to.
Ling Feng chuckled, turned his head back, and continued walking, quickly reaching the side of the Menace vehicle.
After setting down Zhang Jinhua, he said to her, "Are you getting in the car yourself, or should I force you in?"
"I’ll get in myself!"
Although Zhang Jinhua no longer dared to curse at anyone, she was still very stubborn and glared at Ling Feng fiercely before climbing into the car.
The rest of the women also got in, and Ling Feng said to Lin Xue, "I’m going to send them to Shahe Village and take the chance to see what’s really going on!"

The woman nodded, was silent for a moment, and then said, "You’re so formidable. If you could take down Old Wang and get him ousted, that would really help us. That guy is just too evil; he bullies men and women alike and has been riding roughshod over us ordinary folks!"
Ling Feng laughed dismissively, feeling her description was a bit exaggerated.
So he replied jokingly, "It’s fine if you loathe him, claiming he bullies men and women is a bit much, isn’t it? What kind of society do we live in today where such people still exist?"
"Don’t be so skeptical. Old Wang really is that kind of person; he even brags about being the tyrant of Shahe Village!" the woman insisted.
Another woman in the backseat also spoke up, "It’s true; Old Wang has been eyeing the Sun Family’s daughter for several years because she’s beautiful. He’s scared her so much that now she doesn’t dare come home and has been working away all year round!"
"She’s even remotely related to him, and yet he still doesn’t leave her alone!"
"Moreover, he injured the Sun Family’s son last time and the hospital bill was over ten thousand yuan to treat him properly. Old Wang didn’t contribute a penny, and Old Man Sun didn’t dare to say anything!"
The women started chattering about Old Wang’s various misdeeds, causing Ling Feng’s eyebrows to furrow. If what they were saying was true, then this old guy was too outrageous!
The car sped along the highway when a light truck approached from the opposite direction. The sharp-eyed woman in the passenger seat immediately recognized it as Old Wang’s vehicle and said, "Look, there he goes, taking people toward the town!"
"Did they get the message and go looking for us?"
"Definitely, look at the people in that truck, all his cronies, they must have just gathered!"
Amidst the women’s chatter, the light truck brushed past Ling Feng’s Warrior, and the people in the truck, seeing his imposing vehicle, couldn’t resist taking a few more glances!
This glance was not a minor issue, as the people in the light truck immediately recognized the women seated in the car as being from Shahe Village.
So the truck abruptly hit the brakes and started to turn around on the narrow road, forcing Lin Xue in the car behind to quickly brake, barely avoiding a collision with them.
Looking through the rearview mirror, Ling Feng instantly knew that the women were right—Wang Lao Kan had found out they were going to the town to complain and had gone after them with his crew.
As the truck caught up to them with head nods, the women in the car panicked, and the one in the passenger seat said to Ling Feng, "What should we do? He’s brought so many people; we’re in for it now!"
"Afraid of what? You all dared to make a fuss in town, why fear them?" Ling Feng asked with a smile.
His question left the other speechless, and from the back seat, Zhang Jinhua piped up, "We’ve thrown caution to the wind. Who would want to do this unless they were pushed to the brink?"
Seeing Ling Feng silent, she couldn’t help but continue, "If you’re scared, just stop the car now and let us out. Whatever happens to us has nothing to do with you!"
Ling Feng looked back at her, "Whatever you say goes? Why should I listen to you?"
Right after speaking, he floored the gas pedal, and the car’s speed instantly surged, swiftly leaving the light truck behind!
The women didn’t understand what Ling Feng had in mind. At this point, they were panicking, knowing there was no good outcome if they returned home and fearing that today would be their unlucky day.
In a moment of silence, Ling Feng thought to himself, "If this Wang Lao Kan really is as they describe, I’ll definitely need to take care of this!"
After a few more minutes of driving, the vehicle turned onto a narrow, cement-paved village road. Perhaps due to years of disrepair, the road was bumpy and uneven. Luckily, the Warrior was built for off-roading, quite unlike Lin Xue’s car, which would have been bouncing wildly at these speeds.
A few miles down the road, a small village appeared at the foot of the mountain, a cluster of seventy to eighty houses. They had arrived at Shahe Village.
The car stopped at the entrance to the village, and Ling Feng looked back at the women, "If you’re scared, then hurry home. Wang Lao Kan wouldn’t dare to forcibly enter your homes, would he?"
"He wouldn’t dare? What hasn’t he dared to do?" Zhang Jinhua said loudly.
Ling Feng, at a loss for words, turned back and glanced at her, "Then what do you mean? Not going home, are you planning to run up the mountain and hide?"
"You don’t need to worry about us, just take care of yourself. If you don’t leave now, he’ll catch up with his men, and then you won’t be able to leave!" Zhang Jinhua said coldly.
Ling Feng laughed, "Who said I was leaving? I’m waiting for him to come back, aren’t I?"
"Young man, you seem pretty strong, but you saw earlier, Wang Lao Kan brought a lot of people, you can’t beat them, you better head back!" the woman in the passenger seat said.
"Can’t go back now. They all saw you in my car, and if they see me on the road later, they’ll stop me just the same," Ling Feng said, laughing.

In the midst of silence, they saw the light truck kicking up dust in the distance as it sped toward them.
At the entrance of the village, the truck slowed down and stopped, then positioned itself across the road—it was clear they didn’t want to let Ling Feng’s car through.
Seeing this, Ling Feng gave a slight smile, pushed open the door, and got out of the car.
