Three days later.
With Ling Feng’s constant companionship, Chen Yuhe’s emotions had somewhat eased.

Li Yun glanced at him, "In a rush to be with your little girlfriend?"
"You know about it?"

Li Yun sighed, "I’m here today exactly for this matter!"
Hearing this, Ling Feng immediately perked up, so he put down the things in his hand, led her into the room to sit down, and then asked, "What is it? Do you know something?"
Li Yun pulled her hand away and gave him a sidelong glance, "Yes, I’ve heard some clues!"
"Then speak up, don’t keep me in suspense!"
Ling Feng was nearly jumping out of his seat.
Seeing him like this, Li Yun inwardly sighed and then said, "Yesterday, Luo Qianyang transferred a sum of money to the domestic account."
"Him? What next?"
"The money was sent to the county, then withdrawn by someone. The person who collected the money belongs to the family of that tanker truck driver."
Ling Feng froze.
Mulling over the key aspects, he suddenly understood something!
"If that’s the case, then it means the driver was bribed, and that money was his ’settlement fee’!"
"That, I’m not sure about. That’s all I know," Li Yun said coolly.
"How did you know that the person who withdrew the money was that driver’s family member?"
"That’s easy, the money was transferred into hands of the Luo Family, and after I learned about this, I paid attention when they were sending the money. What happened was, that person took the money with a sneer and said it wasn’t in vain!"
Ling Feng nodded upon hearing this, "Got it."
After saying that, he looked at Li Yun with gratitude, "Thank you, I finally have a direction now!"
Li Yun sighed, knowing that what she was doing wasn’t quite right, somewhat like betraying her own side, so she smiled wryly, "Just don’t think less of me."
"How could I? I can’t thank you enough, and besides, aren’t we on the same side?" Ling Feng said with a laugh.
Li Yun felt a little more at ease when he said that and then nodded, "What do you plan to do next?"
Ling Feng narrowed his eyes, "The one who did this probably wasn’t Luo Qianyang, but Lei Ming who was with him. Only he had a reason to target Mr. and Mrs. Chen Gang, so I’m planning to find him!"
"Ah?"
Li Yun was utterly perplexed, "Didn’t I tell you? They are all abroad, you—you’re not thinking of going overseas?"
"Don’t say abroad, even if the bastard’s on the moon, I’ll fly up there and kill him!" Ling Feng said through clenched teeth.
Li Yun suddenly didn’t know what to say.
It was a long while before she let out a slight sigh, "So, this is the kind of person you are!"

Ling Feng had been cultivating, but at her words, he was immediately distracted and asked in confusion.
"It’s nothing, I really envy the woman by your side, you’re willing to do anything for them," Li Yun said with a light smile.
No sooner had she spoken than she saw a smile tugging at the corners of Ling Feng’s mouth. She knew immediately that this was bad and stood up to say, "Well then, I should be going back now!"

Seeing her embarrassment, Ling Feng spoke with a laugh.
Li Yun didn’t say a word and hurried off.
Ling Feng watched her get into her car and drive away before he turned and went back into the house.
His words were not just idle talk—he really was preparing to go abroad!
But though it sounded easy, it was actually quite difficult; after all, he had never even left the province!
After thinking for a moment, Ling Feng didn’t rush to teleport to the Nine Heavens. Instead, he stepped outside and went to the breeding grounds at the back.
Li Shiyun was still busy supervising the expansion project, which was now nearing completion and would soon be finished.
Seeing Ling Feng approach, she quickly came over and asked, "You’re back, how is Yuhe doing today?"
"Still gloomy."
Ling Feng gave a wry smile and then said, "Li Yun just came to see me and gave me a very important clue. Can you help me analyze it?"
After saying this, he recounted everything that had just happened.
After listening, Li Shiyun was both shocked and angry. Clenching her teeth, she said, "If it’s confirmed that Lei Ming did it, then there’s no need to talk about it, he must pay for his crimes with his life!"
"That’s what I’m thinking. So, I plan to go abroad to find this guy. We can’t let him roam free out there for even one more day!" Ling Feng nodded in agreement.
Hearing this, Li Shiyun also looked surprised and quickly said, "This isn’t a joke. Apart from being unfamiliar with life abroad, you don’t even know Lei Ming’s exact location!"
"I’ll find a way. Do you think I should go?"
"Indeed you should, but I’m still worried about you being in danger by yourself. How about I come with you?"
Ling Feng laughed and patted her shoulder, "Then I’d be worried about you being in danger. I know you care about me, but rest assured, the person capable of killing me hasn’t been born yet!"
"That won’t work either!"
Li Shiyun became anxious all at once, realizing she might not be able to persuade him, so she said, "Then let’s do this, ask Lin Xue what she thinks. If she agrees to let you go alone, then I’ll have no complaints!"

Hearing her say this, Ling Feng smiled, "I was going to talk to her about it anyway. How could I go abroad without knowing how to? I’ve heard I need a passport, so I have to ask her, right?"

Ling Feng agreed, and then he teleported to the Nine Heavens. Seeing Chen Yuhe sitting on the grass playing with her younger brother and Ya Ya, he approached them.
Glancing up at him, Chen Yuhe didn’t speak but inquired with her eyes.
"I’ve brought your clothes. I’ll take you to the pond later to take a bath, let these two kids play by themselves."
There were no wild animals on the grass, and the two children were close in age, both having just learned to walk not long ago and their speech not yet fluent.
Whether it was a tacit understanding or some other reason, the boy and the girl got along from the first day they met, never fighting, getting along as well as twins would.
Chen Yuhe didn’t oppose and silently nodded.
Ling Feng’s heart ached as he looked at her, knowing that the lively, carefree girl from before would probably never return.
