My Horny Stepmom Turns Me into Her Vampire Slave

Chapter 172: Epilogue: Everyone is after Mia Valakys (3)

WHOOOM!

A violent impact shakes the vast private grounds surrounding Frank Pyton’s estate.

When the thick cloud of dirt and dust finally begins to settle, Joe Callhan in his ogre form, Philip Serghel in his tiefling form, and Cassian Eisenfaust can be seen sprawled across the ground, battered and injured.

Standing over them is Zayn Thzraneel, a blood-forged saber gripped firmly in his hand.

"Is that really all you’ve got? What a disappointment. I was hoping to find someone I could spar with to kill some time, but you’re barely worth a warm-up."

He then turns a mocking glance toward Frank Pyton.

"Come on, Oktavian. Get up and show your lackeys how their boss fights. Assuming you’ve got the guts to face me."

"I neither have the time nor the inclination to inconvenience myself just to entertain a kid who can’t go ten minutes without picking a fight. And try not to destroy my garden," he replies with complete indifference.

He’s lounging in a jacuzzi not far from them, casually reading The Wall Street Journal to keep track of the stock performance of his companies.

Zayn shrugs.

"I see. You’re afraid. Well, I can’t really blame you. Not everyone has the courage to face the strongest vampire in the multiverse."

"You’re right. I’m not crazy enough to challenge the Platinum Death head-on."

An annoyed grimace crosses Zayn’s face.

"Tsk... the Platinum Death... With the power I possess now, I’m certain I could defeat her without much difficulty. I can’t wait to kill her and strip her of that undeserved reputation as the strongest vampire. Anyway, since you don’t want to fight me, I’ll just keep entertaining myself with your lackeys for a while longer."

Zayn then turns toward them with a look of pure arrogance.

"Come on, you three, get back on your feet! I haven’t even used a fraction of my strength yet. There’s no way you’re already this beaten up!"

Groaning in pain, Joe, Philip, and Cassian struggle back to their feet, battered and injured.

Zayn is about to attack them again when he suddenly freezes.

Two figures in the distance catch his eye, calmly making their way across the garden toward the mansion. A young man and a young woman pulling a suitcase behind her.

Zayn recognizes him instantly.

It’s Axel Volkom — codename Red.

The young woman beside him is an exceptionally beautiful succubus six years younger than Axel, with long wavy brown hair and a pink fringe falling over one eye.

Melania Narkhalis — codename Violet — Axel’s girlfriend.

A smug grin spreads across Zayn’s face.

"Well, well... look who’s decided to pay us a visit. None other than the son of Archwitch Veronica Lustsilk himself."

Axel responds with nothing more than a small wave of greeting. Melania, on the other hand, ignores Zayn completely.

Despite their indifference, Zayn continues speaking in a deliberately provocative tone.

"I’ve heard rumors that you were defeated by Raelor Valraen’s apprentice and my pathetic little brother. Pretty humiliating for someone raised by the most powerful witch in N’Raeth."

As much as he tries to ignore him, Axel is not entirely unaffected by the provocation.

"At the time, I could only create copies that possessed half of my strength, and even that was nearly enough to defeat them. Had I fought them personally, I would have killed them without question, but I had no reason to put myself at risk against someone capable of using Paralysis Magic. In any case, I’ve grown far stronger since then. At this point, even one of my clones would be enough to wipe them out without difficulty."

At those words, Zayn levels his blood-forged saber at Axel, a challenging grin spreading across his face.

"Everyone sounds strong when they’re talking. Prove it with actions! Come on, Axel. Show me just how strong you’ve become!"

"We’re here to speak with Frank, and immediately afterward my girlfriend and I are leaving to celebrate our anniversary. I’m certainly not wasting my time fighting you."

"Too late, Axel! Get ready — I’m coming!"

Zayn launches himself at Axel with blinding speed, but freezes an instant before his blood-forged saber can come down on him when he sees Axel grasp the black metal medallion he always wears around his neck and tighten his fingers around it.

"Take one more step and I’ll summon my mother here instantly. If you’re that eager for a fight, you can take it up with her. But fair warning — she gets rather irritated when she’s disturbed over something trivial."

A bead of cold sweat trickles down Zayn’s forehead, and the confident grin on his face gives way to a nervous smile.

"On second thought, I’ve already had enough training for one day."

With that, he dismisses his blood-forged saber.

Meanwhile, Clarissa Felmont calmly makes her way over to Joe, Philip, and Cassian to tend to their injuries with her healing magic.

Axel and Melania then make their way over to Frank, who is still relaxing in the jacuzzi.

"We’re ready, boss. Where’s the helicopter?" Axel asks, glancing around in confusion.

"You’re almost an hour early. Of course it isn’t here yet."

"Alright, sweetheart, can you finally tell me where you’re taking me? I can barely contain myself! You know I hate surprises..." Melania grumbles impatiently.

To celebrate their sixth anniversary together, Axel had planned a romantic weekend getaway without telling her the destination.

"Just be patient, sweetheart. I told you it’s a surprise, and I’m certainly not going to ruin it an hour before we leave."

"Ugh, what a pain... at least give me a hint! Is it by the sea? Or in the mountains? Please, just that..."

"Nope. A surprise is a surprise. The only thing I can tell you is that it’ll be a weekend you’ll never forget, I promise."

Axel finishes speaking and then exchanges a brief glance with Frank.

"And when the hell does our flight leave?!" Zayn snaps, every bit as impatient as Melania.

"I already told you — tomorrow. I only learned Mia’s location last night, and a private jet trip that long isn’t something you arrange in two hours."

"I certainly hope that’s true and that nothing goes wrong. My body’s aching for a chance to kick the Platinum Death’s ass. If some complication keeps me from taking out that urge on her, then I’ll take it out on your lackeys instead," Zayn replies arrogantly.

"Don’t worry. There won’t be any complications. Down there, you’ll find more entertainment than you can possibly imagine."

A satisfied grin slowly spreads across Frank’s face.

If the Tear of Azkarith were to fall back into the Vampire King’s hands, the only way that bastard Cassian Thalukvar could ever recover it would be by declaring war on the Kingdom of Mildelar.

Not even a desperate madman like him would go that far.

Without that divine artifact, he’d have no way of freeing Nyratalir from the dimension where it’s imprisoned. And without that, he’d have no reason to come after my Scale of Urvoras.

Perfect. Everything is going exactly according to plan.

Enjoy your last few hours of life, Zayn Thzraneel.

My only regret will be missing the look on your face when you find out what’s waiting for you in Japan.
