My Horny Stepmom Turns Me into Her Vampire Slave

Chapter 82: Iris’s romantic date… with a customer

"What can I get for you, Master?" Iris Toya asks one of the customers.

Like every waitress there, she wears the revealing uniform that’s made the place one of the most popular maid cafés in Tokyo — a dress designed to accentuate her figure to the fullest. Combined with her naturally striking beauty, it’s made her a magnet for customers — to the point that many come specifically to be served by her.

Because of that, she was asked to work full shifts from opening to closing, and she gladly accepted to earn more.

The short skirt leaves much of her thighs exposed, while the low-cut neckline reveals more of her chest than a typical maid uniform ever should.

Even after years of working there, Iris still isn’t entirely comfortable with the hungry looks customers let linger on her skin.

Ren, on the other hand, loves that uniform — and often asks her to wear it at home as well, if only so he can be the one to take it off during their more intimate moments.

Seated at the table is a striking young man, with hair blacker than night and piercing blue eyes. Around his neck hangs an old black metal pendant — the kind that opens to reveal a photo. Inside, there’s a picture of a beautiful woman in her forties with burgundy hair.

"I’ll have a beer... and you, after your shift."

Iris’s professionalism keeps her from reacting, despite the odd request for a beer at barely nine in the morning and the bolder invitation.

"Oh, you’re making me blush, Master. But my boyfriend wouldn’t be too pleased if he found out I was going out with a customer instead of heading home to him after work. As for the beer, I’ll need to see some ID to confirm you’re at least twenty."

The young man smiles faintly, amused.

"Wow... I didn’t think I looked that young, if you feel the need to check my age."

"Not at all, Master. It’s just procedure — I ask anyone who orders alcohol."

"I know, I know. Don’t worry."

He pulls his ID from his wallet and hands it to Iris. Once again, she has to make an effort to stay composed and unreadable — this time even more than before.

"Axel Volkom, twenty-four... perfect. I’ll bring your beer right away. And as for your invitation to meet after my shift... where were you thinking of going?"

Her voice softens, turning warmer, more sensual, as she leans forward — subtly emphasizing her already daring neckline.

Axel shrugs.

"Oh, forget it. You’d never let me ask out a girl who already has a boyfriend."

"Well, if it’s a date, no. But if it’s just a friendly outing... I’d really enjoy a walk with someone so charming," Iris murmurs, fixing him with a deliberately seductive gaze.

"Of course — just a harmless outing between friends. No hidden intentions," he replies, meeting her eyes.

"My break is from eleven to one. If you wait for me outside, we can grab a bite at one of the street stalls and then... well, surprise me."

A faint smirk curls across his lips.

"Oh, I will. You can count on it."

◇◇◇

When Iris finishes her shift and steps out of the maid café, Axel is already waiting for her.

"Sorry to keep you waiting — I got held up by a particularly... clingy customer."

"Doesn’t surprise me — I imagine someone like you attracts plenty of customers who get a little too pushy."

"Yeah... I guess it’s those skimpy uniforms they make us wear."

"I doubt it. Forgive my honesty, but I find you far more attractive like this than in your work outfit."

"You’re such a liar... I’m just wearing a t-shirt and leggings, and I’m not even wearing any makeup."

"Let’s just say I prefer simplicity. When a girl is this naturally beautiful, she doesn’t need to hide behind makeup."

"You really know what girls like to hear, don’t you? So, have you already decided where to take me for our... friendly outing?"

"I was thinking we could go for a walk somewhere a bit more secluded. You know how people talk — I wouldn’t want any rumors reaching your boyfriend. He might get the wrong idea and think this is a date, instead of just a casual chat between friends. Of course, only if you’re comfortable with it — I’d understand if you weren’t keen on wandering off somewhere quiet with a stranger."

"Not at all. No problem. That’s exactly what I was thinking too — the further away, the better."

"Glad we’re on the same page. But first, you must be starving — want to grab something to eat?"

Iris points to a nearby takoyaki stand, and the two make their way over. When it’s time to pay, she reaches for her wallet, but Axel is quicker, covering the bill despite her protests.

"I invited you — no way I’m letting you pay."

"Well then, I guess I’ll get it next time."

"Oh? So there will be a next time?"

"Who knows... we’ll see."

As they enjoy their takoyaki, the two walk side by side along the long main avenue.

There’s an undeniable chemistry between them. They chat idly, laugh and tease each other, their conversation laced with a subtle, mutual flirtation. And yet, neither of them makes any move to close the distance — not even the faintest brush of their hands. It’s as if, in their words, they’re ready to tear into each other at any moment, but in practice neither of them does anything to let it happen.

After nearly forty minutes of walking without stopping, they reach a deserted industrial district — a sprawling stretch of abandoned warehouses fading into the distance.

Iris glances around uneasily, then suddenly comes to a halt, while Axel continues walking ahead.

"This is the most secluded spot near the maid café. I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place," he says, still walking.

"Yeah... it really is perfect for what we have to do."

And then...WOOOOSH!

A sphere of violet energy tears through the air toward Axel’s back, but he sidesteps it in an instant. As he spins around, his eyes — now glowing crimson — lock onto Iris.

Massive succubus wings unfurl from her back, her body wrapped in a blazing violet aura.

"Oh... so you already know everything, my dear Iris Toya? I was planning to surprise you, but it seems you’ve surprised me instead. If you’d told me sooner, we could’ve skipped this little act."

A mocking smile plays on his lips, while Iris stands there, trembling with rage.

"

You... you’re one of those bastards who’ve been tormenting my family. I... I will never forgive you for what you’ve done!"

The violet energy surrounding her intensifies, cracking the walls of the nearby warehouses.

"Remember this — I’ll show no mercy to anyone who dares hurt my little brother. Not you... and not anyone who comes after you! I’ll erase you with my own hands, Axel Volkom!"
