Chapter 231: The Lady Is A Pervert
Renelle quickly regretted walking into the clothing store, but at the same time, she had no intention of leaving.
"Ma’am, are you okay?"
The store asked as she watched blood run down the lady’s nose, causing her worry.
"I think I might be a pervert," Renelle said as she looked ahead of her, right where Adrian stood.
The store owner followed her gaze, and her eyes rested on the man currently walking out from behind the curtains.
She immediately understood why this noble lady was like this; after all, the man was undoubtedly eye candy.
The store owner couldn’t stop herself from drooling over his figure, but a cold aura suddenly pulled her out of whatever degenerate thoughts were forming in his mind.
She slowly turned to the side and noticed that the noble lady was looking at her with a smile that truly wasn’t one.
"Would you mind explaining why you’re looking at my butler with such eyes?" Renelle asked, the scary smile still on her face.
The store owner was certain that she’d lose her head no matter the answer she gave, so cold sweat started running down her back as she searched for a way out of this situation.
Fortunately for her, the hot butler spoke up at that moment, "What do you think, my lady?"
Renelle’s attention quickly moved back to Adrian, and the store owner took this opportunity to disappear and find somewhere else to be.
Renelle looked at her butler, her perverted thoughts returning.
She was used to seeing him in his butler’s uniform or the academy uniform, but this was quite different.
He was wearing white long white pants and a blue shirt that couldn’t be buttoned around the chest area.
Renelle looked at him for a while, without response, and the next second, blood suddenly started dripping out of her nose again.
Adrian quickly approached with a handkerchief, crouched in front of her and placed it over her nose. "Are you okay?"
Unfortunately for her, his current angle made her situation worse.
While it was true that she had seen his naked upper body, for some reason, this was considerably worse.
With that amount of chest revealed, she had the weird urge to bite it.
Slap!
Renelle quickly slapped herself with both hands, pulling herself out of those thoughts as she mentally thought, ’don’t be a pervert, Renelle. ’
But then, she froze as she realized something,
’He’s mine, isn’t he?’ She mentally asked, ’So I’m allowed to have as many perverted thoughts as I like, about him.’
Adrian remained crouched, still holding the handkerchief to her nose as he looked at her with a smile.
She really was cute whenever she tried forcing herself to remain rational.
Speaking of which, when wasn’t she ever cute? Even when she was fighting, she somehow remained cute.
The two love-sick idiots stayed like that for a while, lost in their thoughts of each other.
The store owner was tempted to tell them to get a room, but she was certain that wouldn’t end well.
A while later, Adrian unconsciously muttered, "I love my lady’s cute side."
Renelle was immediately pulled out of her internal debate and looked at her butler.
As much as he had said that unconsciously, her reaction made him not regret saying it.
He then stood up and turned around, walking back to the curtains, but not before saying, "I’m guessing my lady likes this one too."

It took a while, but the two finally exited the clothing store, with a red-faced Renelle.
The store owner finally let out a sigh of relief as the two crazy customers walked out.
As much as they had bought every outfit the other had tried on, her head was always in danger of being removed if she so much as glanced at the man.
"I think I need to take a rest," she muttered as she massaged her forehead before walking back into her store, completely exhausted.
Meanwhile, Adrian and his lady found themselves at the beach again, slowly and silently, walking through the white sand.
The sea breeze hitting them was quite warm, but that much was to be expected since this was the South.
"Adrian?" Renelle suddenly broke the silence, turning towards him.
"Yes, my lady?" The butler responded.
"Are you going to tell me why you’re offering the South a chance to get stronger?" She asked.
A question that had been on her mind for a while now.
After all, if it was to make her queen, they had more than enough pawns for that now.
The West had already made its intention clear through Linda; its deal with Marion had gotten them the East, and even the South was in their palms thanks to the contract with Darius, so why?
Adrian thought of it for a while before letting out a sigh and saying, "The cult master was right."
"Hmm?" She looked at him in confusion.
"Avera truly does need to strengthen itself rather than rely on a single person to save them all," Adrian clarified.
He looked at her before adding, "Whatever is on its way here isn’t going to come alone."
"They’d probably have an army of them," he continued, "and even if a single person got stronger enough to stand against them, they’d eventually be overwhelmed. "
"I see," Renelle finally understood his line of thinking, "so, to ensure Avera’s safety, you need its people to grow stronger, not just a select few."
"Yes," Adrian answered, "and for the South, the fastest way to achieve that is the dragon bloodline that I helped Darius awaken."
"I see," Renelle nodded in understanding, "then you’ll move on to the other dukedoms."
"Exactly," Adrian said with a smile, "for you and I..."
He paused and looked at her for a while before smiling, "I’m certain that the founder already has something for us."
"We just have to go find him after this."
The butler looked towards the sea and the setting sun before adding, "That should be quite the journey. "
