How Could I Possibly Have a Daughter After Reincarnating?

Chapter 428 : Ah~ So Good, So Very Good~

“The rain has lightened up so much~”

Ling Ning remarked, gazing out the window at the drizzle. When they had gone downstairs earlier, the downpour had startled them. Fortunately, there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Even so, both of them had gotten somewhat wet.

Of course, part of that could be attributed to Ling Ning stubbornly refusing to use the spare umbrella she had prepared. If she had taken it out, perhaps they wouldn’t have ended up in such a state.

Thankfully, their clothes weren’t particularly water-absorbent, so being wet wasn’t too much of a problem.

By now, they had finished dinner, but they lingered in the restaurant, waiting for the rain to ease up further.

“Since the rain has lessened, let’s head out.”

“Alright.”

When they stepped outside to hail a taxi, they found the street unusually busy, with every cab already occupied. After trying unsuccessfully for over ten minutes, Ling Ning sighed in exasperation. “Why don’t we use Bibi Rides to call a car instead?”

Su Ya was about to agree when she suddenly remembered the recent controversies surrounding Bibi Rides. She shook her head emphatically. “Let’s take the subway instead. The station isn’t too far from here, right?”

“The subway? Sure.”

The subway station was only a few hundred meters away, and they soon set off toward it.

But to their dismay, the light drizzle suddenly turned into a torrential downpour, even heavier than before. Accompanied by strong winds, the rain soaked them both, even under their umbrella. This time, they were thoroughly drenched.

Grabbing Su Ya by the arm, Ling Ning ran toward a nearby motel. Standing at the entrance, watching the rain pelt down outside, she sighed. “Why is my luck so bad? Of all times, it had to rain like this now.”

“We’re completely soaked…”

Su Ya murmured, glancing down at her clothes, which were utterly drenched.

Ling Ning chuckled bitterly. She wasn’t much better off, her outfit equally wet. Scanning her surroundings, she headed to the front desk and used her ID to book a room.

Trailing behind her, Su Ya asked hesitantly, “Ling Ning, why are you booking a room?”

“Given our current situation and the weather, it’s obvious we’re not going anywhere anytime soon. We might as well get a room to rest and change into dry clothes.”

Ling Ning replied, shaking a bag she held. Inside were several outfits Qin Qing had lent her—enough for both of them to change into.

“Oh…”

Su Ya nodded, following Ling Ning into the elevator. Though their clothes weren’t transparent when wet, the fabric clung tightly to their bodies, outlining everything.

One glance at Ling Ning was enough to make Su Ya’s heart race. The rain hadn’t diminished her beauty; instead, it gave her a seductive, wet allure that even Su Ya found hard to ignore.

If she went out in this state, tsk tsk tsk.

When Ling Ning opened the room door, Su Ya was taken aback by the interior. A round bed, dim lighting, and an assortment of peculiar items left no doubt—this was a love motel.

Ling Ning, however, seemed unfazed. After all, she had booked the room, fully aware of what to expect.

It wasn’t like she had much choice—this was the only motel nearby. Venturing further in the rain to find another was out of the question. Besides, this was the simplest room available. Had she chosen something more extravagant, Su Ya might not have dared to enter.

“Come on in. This is the only place around, so we’ll have to make do.”

Ling Ning said, stepping inside.

Su Ya blinked, then followed her in. As a sheltered girl, this was her first time in a place like this. She had heard about such motels from her classmates but never imagined she’d visit one herself.

While Su Ya was curiously examining the room, Ling Ning began taking off her wet clothes. Flustered, Su Ya turned away abruptly. “L-Ling Ning! What are you doing?!”

“Taking a shower, of course. It’s clear the rain won’t stop anytime soon, and a hot shower is the best way to avoid catching a cold,” Ling Ning replied nonchalantly, continuing to undress.

Having spent money on the room, she intended to make full use of it. Besides, after being drenched in the rain, a hot shower was almost mandatory.

Su Ya froze as she felt something soft press against her back. Realizing Ling Ning had come up behind her, she stiffened.

Leaning close to her ear, Ling Ning whispered, “Xiao Ya, want to join me?”

“N-No! You go ahead!” Su Ya stammered, her face burning. They were both girls, so why was she blushing? And why did Ling Ning have to use such a seductive tone?

Ling Ning sighed dramatically. “Fine, I’ll go first. Make sure you shower afterward too.” She stepped away and entered the bathroom.

As the sound of running water reached her ears, Su Ya let out a sigh of relief. Turning to glance toward the bathroom, she froze again.

The foggy bathroom glass revealed Ling Ning’s silhouette, her movements visible despite the obscured view. The blurred figure carried an inexplicable allure that even Su Ya couldn’t resist.

“Ah…”

Su Ya groaned, burying her face in the bedspread before peeking out again, her eyes drawn to the bathroom.

Though it was just the two of them in the room, she felt like a thief sneaking glances.

Still, she couldn’t help but admire Ling Ning’s figure. It was no wonder she had become such a successful model at their age.

Ah~ So good, so very good. When would her own body look that amazing?
