Chapter 317 : I’m Definitely Going to Get Bent
“Phew~ Finally done!”
Ling Ning placed her hands on her hips, admiring the now-tidy room. It felt so much better this way—just like when she’d lived there herself.
“Um… Teacher, should we start the drawing now?” Jiang Xue asked cautiously from beside her.
Ling Ning blinked. Right, she’d almost forgotten she was here to model for Jiang Xue. Without the reminder, she might have let it slip her mind completely.
“Oh, that’s right!” Ling Ning said, suddenly remembering something. “About that script you sent me last time—I reviewed it, and it’s pretty good! I filled in a few gaps, but it’s really up to you how you want to draw it. I forgot to send it to you yesterday.”
“Wow, thank you so much, Teacher!”
Jiang Xue felt thrilled; getting a compliment on her story idea from her Teacher was more than she’d hoped for.
“So, just like last time?”
“Yep, just the same as last time.”
Ling Ning nodded, grabbed a beginner’s manga guidebook, and sat quietly on a chair, flipping through it as Jiang Xue got her art supplies ready.
But this place didn’t have air conditioning, and even with a fan, it was uncomfortably warm. Between helping Jiang Xue clean and now sitting still in the heat, sweat had started to form on her skin. *Maybe I’ve just gotten too used to comfortable living,* Ling Ning mused.
Meanwhile, Jiang Xue had set up her easel and was ready to start sketching. No matter the angle, her Teacher always looked picture-perfect. Today, the slight sheen of sweat on her gave her an extra, almost otherworldly, glow.
Jiang Xue’s sharp eyes caught a single bead of sweat slowly trickling down Ling Ning’s neck, disappearing into the neckline of her blouse.
Jiang Xue’s expression shifted as she remembered the steamy manga she’d read the previous night. Her hand trembled, adding a touch of… something unintentional to her sketch. Her whole demeanor took on a strange vibe.
Ling Ning, engrossed in her book, didn’t notice any of this. She was entirely absorbed, her mind already considering trying her hand at drawing.
“Maybe I’ll ask Jiang Xue to teach me a bit later,” she thought.
Eventually, Jiang Xue snapped out of her daze and glanced at the sketch she’d made of her Teacher. She couldn’t believe how stunning it looked. But, for some reason, there was an unintended sensuality to it, like something out of a risqué manga.
If my Teacher knew I’d drawn her like this, I’d be dead, Jiang Xue thought, reminded of her friend Chen Ruo’s words: “Whatever you’re thinking about when you draw will come through in the art.”
Did I really have impure thoughts about my Teacher just now? Jiang Xue felt a wave of guilt crash over her. Her Teacher was practically family, someone deeply respected, not someone to be… admired in that way. Besides, she’s with my teacher! NTR’ing her teacher? The thought made her shudder.
Sensing something, Ling Ning looked up, noticing her disciple’s conflicted expression. “What’s wrong?”
“Oh… nothing, I just wasn’t sure how to continue,” Jiang Xue mumbled, looking away.
“No rush! I’ll be here all day, so just take your time and draw when you’re ready.” Ling Ning gave her a reassuring smile.
The warmth of her Teacher’s smile only made Jiang Xue’s guilt intensify. She picked up the drawing, contemplating tearing it up, but something held her back. It’s just a drawing, she reasoned, setting it aside.
“I’ll be right back—I just need to use the restroom,” she said, getting up quickly.
“Alright,” Ling Ning replied, stretching her arms with a contented sigh. Sitting in one pose was surprisingly tiring; she’d hardly moved a muscle.
As she stretched, Jiang Xue caught a glimpse of her Teacher’s impressive figure and quickly ducked into the bathroom, where she splashed cold water on her face to clear her mind. She needed to flush out all those stray, inappropriate thoughts.
“Why is this happening?” she whispered to her reflection in frustration. We’re just Teacher and disciple—nothing more! She blamed the influence of last night’s manga, convincing herself it was the cause.
Feeling steadier, Jiang Xue opened the bathroom door, only for all her just-quelled thoughts to come rushing back.
Ling Ning was lying on Jiang Xue’s bed, reading her manga guidebook. But that wasn’t the issue. The real issue was that Ling Ning was lying sideways, with her legs angled toward the fan, which blew her skirt up with every turn.
As the skirt fluttered up and down, Jiang Xue’s heart seemed to rise and fall with it. She almost wanted to run over and either turn off the fan… or just lift the skirt herself.
Sensing someone’s gaze, Ling Ning looked up and smiled, completely oblivious. “Ready to start again?”
Seeing her Teacher’s relaxed expression, Jiang Xue was hit with another wave of shock. She wanted to blurt out, Could you please fasten those top buttons on your shirt? Don’t you realize your bra is visible? Just a moment ago, those buttons had been done up properly.
“What’s wrong?”
Seeing her disciple’s troubled expression, Ling Ning raised an eyebrow in concern.
“N-nothing… whatever makes you comfortable, Teacher.”
"Meow meow meow?"
If this keeps up, she thought to herself, I’m definitely going to get bent.
