Chapter 207 : “Uwaa!” x3
"Ling Ning, I’m done with my shower. It’s your turn~" Li Qian called from the living room, dressed only in a thin nightgown after her bath.
"Alright, I’ll be there soon."
Outside, thunder continued to rumble, and Ling Ning, feeling bored, set down her book and slowly made her way to the bathroom. When she entered, she was hit by lingering steam from Li Qian’s hot shower.
"Isn’t it too warm for such a hot shower?" she murmured to herself as she began to undress. Just as she did, she noticed a white lace pair of panties in the laundry basket. Though not as bold as the one she’d seen earlier, they still felt like something beyond her usual taste.
“Probably the pair Li Qian just took off,” she thought.
If this were her previous life, she might have been tempted to do something weird with them—after all, they were recently worn by a beautiful girl. But now, the thought didn’t even cross her mind. If she really wanted some “authentic” panties, she only had to take off her own, after all.
“Looks like my transformation has made me lose even my gentlemanly inclinations,” she mused with a sigh, tossing the panties back into the basket before stepping into the shower.
As Ling Ning began washing her hair, she realized, to her dismay, that she hadn’t asked Li Qian for a towel or a change of clothes.
"Li Qian, do you have a spare towel I can use? And maybe some clothes..."
Out in the living room, Li Qian was blow-drying her hair when she heard Ling Ning. Realizing she’d forgotten to bring her a towel and clothes, she quickly replied, "Hang on a second. I’ll go look."
"Thanks." Ling Ning held her wet hair carefully to avoid getting water in her eyes.
After searching the house, Li Qian realized she was out of spare towels—the last one had been used after her shower.
"Ling Ning, do you see a pink towel hanging on the wall? You can use that one. I’ll bring you some clothes," Li Qian called out with slight reluctance. She’d only used that towel to wipe down a few times, so it should be fine.
While Li Qian went to her room to get clothes for Ling Ning, she spotted a small box containing the daring lingerie she’d ordered that morning. An idea sparked in her mind, and a mischievous smile crept across her face.
Just as she prepared to deliver the clothes, she noticed her sister, Li Meng, emerging from her room with a set of clothes in hand, clearly intending to do the same.
“What are you doing?” Li Qian asked, her expression neutral.
“Ling Ning needs a change of clothes, right? So I thought I’d bring her some,” Li Meng replied, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Silence. The air felt charged.
However, this time the sisters didn’t start bickering. After a brief negotiation, they agreed that Li Meng would provide the nightgown while Li Qian supplied the underwear.
Ever since they’d both watched that "Trinity Yuri" video on that USB drive, the frequency of their arguments had noticeably decreased. Instead, they had started handling things with calm negotiations.
And since their minds worked so similarly, they were always able to reach an agreement quickly.
“Ling Ning, I left the clothes on the rack outside the door.”
"Got it, thanks!" Ling Ning shouted back from inside the bathroom, her voice echoing with cheer.
After the sweaty day she’d had, a warm shower was invigorating. She cracked the door open and swiftly grabbed the clothes from the rack outside, hoping to avoid being seen. Even though they were all girls, she still felt a bit self-conscious about being seen naked.
"What… what on earth?!"
Ling Ning looked at the clothes in her hands. The underwear looked eerily familiar—it was the same set she’d seen in the living room that morning. And as for the nightgown, it was rather sheer.
A black lingerie set paired with a white, nearly see-through nightgown? This was a bit too much.
Her startled reaction had been loud enough for Li Qian and Li Meng, sitting in the living room, to hear. They exchanged glances before Li Qian commented calmly, “The thunder tonight is quite loud.”
“The wind is, too,” Li Meng agreed.
After a long moment of hesitation, Ling Ning resigned herself to wearing the surprisingly daring outfit, even though it was something she’d never usually consider.
Looking at her reflection, she couldn’t deny that she appeared more alluring than usual. This outfit practically brought out her hidden charms.
With a sigh, Ling Ning opened the bathroom door and stepped out.
Hearing the door, the sisters turned to look at her. At that moment, they both felt an odd tickle, as if their noses were on the verge of bleeding. They quickly averted their gazes, both thinking the same thing: What a little heartbreaker…
“Um… do you have any other nightgowns?” Ling Ning asked, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Well, aside from the one I’m wearing, all my other nightgowns were washed, and they got wet again in the rain, so they’re still in the machine,” Li Qian replied with a completely straight face.
“Same here. Other than the one I’m wearing, yours is the only one left. The rest are still at school,” Li Meng added, matching her sister’s calm tone.
With no alternative, Ling Ning sighed in resignation. They were all girls here, after all; it wasn’t as if they hadn’t seen each other in pajamas before. As long as they could lend her something more modest tomorrow, she’d endure it.
But still… this bra felt a bit tight.
Just then, a loud clap of thunder shook the room, startling even Ling Ning, who normally wasn’t fazed by thunderstorms.
“Yikes, with thunder this intense, we might lose power,” she muttered.
“Don’t worry, the lightning protection here is…”
Before Li Qian could finish, the living room lights flickered and went out, plunging the room into total darkness.
