Chapter 412 - 349: Thank you
"I have fulfilled my wish, Master. No one shall remember the Aurianna who attacked, or you, for the damages caused. They shall appear as entirely different people who attacked the planet. At this moment, you are remembered as the one who helped fight against them. If I made it seem as though you defeated them, people would grow suspicious," Ragna explained.
However, she suddenly noticed Aurianna slump to the floor gasping for air while clutching her chest.
"I guess your body couldn’t withstand it any longer. All the stress from what happened today finally came crashing down. But now, after everything and all the struggle, what are you going to do now?" Moonstone asked.
"My goals are the same. I’ll brief you on them later," Aurianna responded while staring up at her.
"And also, shrink your bodies. You are too huge!" Aurianna yelled.
"As you wish," Moonstone, Ulexite, and White Howlite responded before shrinking themselves down to 9 feet tall.
However, before Aurianna could speak further, she suddenly fainted and Ragna immediately scooped her into her arms.
"I believe she’ll be going into evolution soon, so it is better to find a place for her," Ulexite stated while staring down at Ragna before glancing around at the people observing from afar who had begun slowly waking up.
"Understood. I shall do that," Ragna nodded.
"Master!" Hadina cried while running toward Aurianna.
Aurianna’s unconscious body rested in Ragna’s arms. Hadina had only just awakened and missed what happened. All she remembered was Aurianna being caught before a sudden force of pressure or mana descended upon her, causing her to lose consciousness immediately.
"What’s happening to her?" Hadina asked after noticing Aurianna’s glowing body.
"She’s entering evolution soon," Ragna answered calmly.
"Let’s take her out of this place already," Hadina urged, referring to wanting to send Aurianna to the Domain Prison, but with Aurianna unconscious she had no way to do so.
"What happened?" Saintess Vanuer wondered while looking around.
She too had fainted alongside the other Sacreds who were nearby observing the situation. They had all been awaiting their deaths only to faint and wake up with those "people" gone, their auras no longer able to be felt.
"Hey, your name is Ragna, right?" Vanuer asked as she appeared beside Ragna, Aurianna laying unconscious in her arms.
"Yes. Why?" she replied while raising an eyebrow.
"Those people are dead, right?" Vanuer questioned. She suspected this woman may have been the one who killed them, or perhaps it was the three unfamiliar people standing before her. She couldn’t discern their strength.
"That is good," Vanuer sighed in relief.
"However, the disasters will not stop. The walls of several countries have probably fallen, and there are many problems to fix after what those people did. It also seems their monsters haven’t disappeared with them, so you’ll probably have monster hordes to deal with. And the world hasn’t returned to normal, meaning there are probably new continents or even the shape of the current world has changed completely. Well, this isn’t my business. Your Sacreds and Apostles can handle this," Ragna stated with a calm smile.
In the Church, their rankings are as follows: Sacred, Pope, Apostle, Arc Priest, Holy Priest, High Priest, Priest.
(Note: I low-key forgot the world-building for the priest stuff, so if anyone remembers tell me and imma fix it 😭)
’She’s basically saying she has no plans to aid us. How cruel of her,’ Vanuer thought coldly before giving a polite bow.
"How long will she be in evolution for?" Hadina wondered while staring at Aurianna and noticing crystals growing across her skin. Her body was slowly creating a cocoon for her evolution.
"Two months at least... well that’s what I remember," Ragna responded. "I honestly wasn’t listening clearly. It could be anywhere between 2–4 months."
"Her body can be kept in a room at my school and you all can protect her there. However, the deal is that you must also protect my students," Vanuer suggested.
"Do we really need to make a deal with humans? I don’t mind creating a suitable environment for her evolution," Moonstone stated coldly.
"Without orders from my master, you are not allowed to use your powers on this planet. After all, you’re technically strangers," Ragna replied coldly.
"You’re also a stranger!!" Hadina yelled while pointing at Ragna.
"I’m different. After all, I’m a servant of Master Iris!" Ragna declared proudly.
Ulexite and Moonstone frowned in dissatisfaction. From their expressions and long lives, it was obvious that even if the old generation Black Gemaris was dead, they still deeply loathed her. Having to kneel before a mere child of the newer generation Black and Purple Gemaris was an insult to them.
But who were they to oppose someone significantly stronger?
They could only swallow their grievances and remain silent.
"Oh yes, Vanuer, this is for you," Ragna stated calmly while handing a ball to Vanuer.
Inspecting it, Vanuer’s eyes widened in shock and she immediately held it carefully. Inside were the gods captured by Bomb.
The capture of the gods was one of the reasons the Churches had become restless and barely coordinated. They felt the blessings of their gods dim more and more, and on top of that they had to face the monster attacks from those Auriannas. Their morale had dropped drastically.
"How do I free them?" Vanuer asked hopefully while staring at Ragna.
"Just place the ball in the land where the gods reside and it shall crack and free them," Ragna explained calmly.
"Alright, and thank you very much," Vanuer replied with a bright smile.
Two months had passed since that day. The world was currently in chaos from the attacks of the monsters the other Aurianna’s had left behind.
Due to Ragna’s power, they were not remembered as the ones who attacked. Their faces were replaced by their differences. So, to the entire world, they were known as a bunch of random stray demi-gods who had appeared and attacked the planet. Their true purpose? Unknown. The only thing told by those who fought in close range with them was that they wanted to merge different worlds together... and that they succeeded.
