Chapter 411 - 348: flimsy excuse
"Hehehe today imma give y’all 15 stocked up Chapters. Been starving y’all."
---
"Also, Aurianna, I give you 50 years to finish up whatever you are doing on this planet. There’s no need for you to be wasting time here. I shall meet you in the homeworld in 50 years," Iris stated calmly.
"Huh? Homeworld? 50 years?" Aurianna blurted out, pure confusion on her face.
"Yes." Iris nodded as though expecting Aurianna to know what the homeworld was.
"Sister, I have no idea of this homeworld you speak of," Aurianna admitted honestly.
"Don’t worry, they’ll explain it to you," Iris replied calmly, and Aurianna nodded.
’And hmm... do you really need 50 years? With my growth rate I could finish everything up in almost 20 years,’ Aurianna thought.
"And as for you four, get your asses down here," Iris stated coldly while staring at the sky.
Meeting Iris’ gaze from afar, they couldn’t help but tremble and immediately appeared before her while their bodies shook violently.
Their bodies were extremely tall, almost 40 feet in height as they stared down.
"Prostrate yourselves before me," Iris ordered coldly.
They immediately knelt.
There was White Howlite, the crystal with a shattered face. He was slim and wore thick robes. Ulexite was an extremely muscular crystal with a hoop floating above his head and his hair tied in a neat white bun. And lastly was Moonstone, a beautiful crystal woman with two long pigtails and a cold emotionless face.
"So what were you bastards doing there? Just watching?" Iris questioned coldly while glaring at them.
"If Iris’ sister had truly been caught by those other Auriannas, Iris would have immediately killed you all for your negligence. Are you not crystals of the former White Gemaris? So is your new master not the current White Gemaris? It is your duty to protect her. However, you failed this mission of yours and simply watched like idiots. Iris can see the others who were also just watching my other sister Leila," Iris scolded.
"So now then, what excuse do you have for this misbehavior of yours?"
"It was not our intention to abandon our master. However, given the circumstances of what was happening, we could have endangered her even more," Moonstone responded calmly, her expression not changing despite her body trembling from Iris’ pressure.
Iris simply huffed and glared at Moonstone. This woman dared to sound so arrogant instead of immediately admitting they were in the wrong.
"Endangered her how? Do not give Iris such a flimsy excuse," Iris replied coldly.
"It was hard to tell who truly was our master after all. Our master is the White Gemaris. And since there were so many White Gemaris, it is easy for any one of them to control us," Moonstone explained. "We must obey the orders of our masters, and since there are so many masters, we can easily be controlled by any of them. After all, they’re all similar."
"Okay, that is fair," Iris muttered calmly while nodding her head. "Well then, from now on make sure to do your duty well. If Iris catches such a mismatch happening where you do not protect Aurianna, Iris shall have your heads," Iris warned coldly before clasping her hands together.
"Now then."
Iris walked up to One and Bomb, who were kneeling, and snapped her fingers. Time appeared trapped inside a ball before being released and slumping beside the other two.
Iris pointed her finger at them. A purple thread of magic flew toward them and entered their heads immediately, flowing through their bodies and covering them with purple veins before disappearing a few seconds later.
"Take care, dear sister. Make sure to keep in touch with Iris. After all, Iris is a very busy woman," Iris remarked before finally disappearing.
Aurianna stood there staring at the sky before a smile crept onto her face.
"So who are you people anyway? I never knew you guys even existed!" Aurianna yelled while glaring at the three giant beings before her.
"Sorry, let us introduce ourselves. We are the crystals of the former White Gemaris," Ulexite responded while staring at Aurianna.
Aurianna stared at them intensely before raising an eyebrow, but she immediately cleared her throat.
"Well, never mind that. Let’s get everything sorted out fast. One at a time. First let me do the ceremony for the soul weapon of a Gemaris," she stated while staring at One, Bomb, and Time, who were kneeling while glaring at her with hatred.
"Grab their hands and they will immediately turn into weapons," Ragna explained.
Aurianna walked up to them, extending her hand, and Bomb reluctantly grabbed it, turning into a blazing staff. Time transformed into a clock while One became a saber.
A new feeling appeared in Aurianna’s chest. She could feel a new connection with the three of them, similar to how she gave people her mark.
Aurianna immediately stored Bomb, Time, and One inside her void space before turning toward Ragna.
"Ragna, how did they turn into weapons so fast?" Aurianna asked. "After all, I assumed there would be some flashy stuff happening before they transformed into weapons," she laughed while scratching her head.
"There’s no need for you to worry about that, Master Aurianna," Ragna responded calmly. "After all, Iris had already done everything."
"Like how?" Aurianna asked in confusion.
"It is hard to explain, but what I saw was something entering their bodies," Ragna shrugged.
"My sister can do everything," Aurianna sighed. "But there’s no need to lament now. I’m alive, and that is better than being dead," Aurianna declared with a bright smile.
"Also, Ragna, you saw all the Auriannas who attacked the planet had my face," Aurianna noted while pointing to her face.
"Yes, they all had your face," Ragna nodded.
"Good. Now change their faces. Use your power to make everyone in the world remember their faces differently. Their faces will no longer be remembered as mine, but as entirely different faces so that I will not be implicated by their actions. And also change the objective they told people," Aurianna instructed calmly while staring at Ragna.
"Very wise decision, Master Aurianna," Ragna praised with a nod before snapping her fingers and looking up at Word of Law.
Word of Law nodded before reciting words similar to what Aurianna had stated, and since everyone had fainted from Iris’ pressure, this was the perfect time to do it. A bright light covered the entire planet before Word of Law finally disappeared from the sky.
