Lin Xinghai, the one who had caused this whole commotion, paid no attention to it. It wasn’t until the next day, when he received congratulatory messages from Roger and the others, that he found out he had been crowned the "Gun God."

Amidst the applause, they saw a young man walk in through the doorway. He was handsome, with a straight, tall posture. With his hands clasped behind his back, he exuded an air of proud self-confidence as he entered.

Seeing this, the crowd’s whispering grew louder. No one had expected the so-called vice-leader to be so young.

His words were plain and direct, but that was exactly what these Mercenaries needed. Telling them the benefits they could receive upfront was more effective than any flowery speech.

As Lin Xinghai finished speaking, the room once again erupted in applause and cheers. This time, however, the response was far more sincere and enthusiastic.

Soon, the large group set off for the Mercenary Guild.

The previous night, Gao Mountain had already taken care of trivial matters like purchasing firearms and ammunition. Today, all they had to do was accept a mission, and they could depart immediately.

After accepting the mission, the group hurried to the Mercenary Plaza in the Lower Level District. The equipment for the Mountain and Sea Mercenary Corps had already been delivered.

Lin Xinghai glanced over and saw that there were now two Armored Vehicles. Both had been modified, with Heavy Machine Guns mounted on the left and right sides of their roofs.

While the firepower of a Heavy Machine Gun couldn’t compare to a small Electromagnetic Railgun, it was more than enough to deal with Ordinary Zombies.

Noticing Lin Xinghai’s interest in the Armored Vehicles, Gao Mountain quickly explained, "You asked to recruit 50 people within a week. I felt one Armored Vehicle would be too crowded, so I bought another one."

Lin Xinghai found it slightly amusing. "Don’t worry. As long as we have the Points, feel free to buy whatever equipment you think we need. It’s all to improve the Mercenary Corps’ overall strength."

Gao Mountain had been about to show Lin Xinghai the list of purchased weapons for his approval. Hearing this, he felt inexplicably touched.

Lin Xinghai had given him 100,000 Points and then left him to it, asking no questions. This was a clear sign of his absolute trust.

Soon, everyone boarded the vehicles. They started their engines and departed from the Star Shield Shelter.

On the way to Tianshan City, the convoy showed no signs of stopping, even when they encountered zombie hordes. They simply plowed right through with the Armored Vehicles.

This scene made the new Mercenaries marvel to themselves. In their previous corps, they would never have passed up a horde like this. After all, hordes in the wild posed less risk, and it was easier to collect the Elemental Crystals afterward.

In the city, on the other hand, you always had to worry about gunshots attracting other hordes. Even after a successful hunt, collecting the Elemental Crystals wasn’t nearly as easy.

However, this was Lin Xinghai’s decision, so no one had any objections. Nor would they dare to.

Soon, the convoy reached the outskirts of Tianshan City. They could even see Zombies wandering in the distance.

At this point, the two Armored Vehicles came to a stop.

Following Gao Mountain’s orders, all the Mercenaries, except for the drivers, disembarked and assembled. Lin Xinghai leaped onto the roof of one of the vehicles. He looked down at the crowd below and announced in a clear voice, "Alright, I’ll give you your assignments now."

All the new members perked up their ears, concentrating fully, afraid of missing a single word.
