Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!

Chapter 150 -: 149 Even 10 years of lifespan wasn’t enough.

The black light wrapped around Crypian like a thick, living cloak.

It looked completely black, yet it shone with a strange, powerful glow that hurt to look at.

The light was so bright and strong that Julius and Rosalina had to squint.

Their faces turned pale. Their eyes grew wide with shock.

The deadly spear they had poured ten years of their life into simply vanished the moment it touched the black light.

It disappeared without a sound, like a drop of water falling into a hot pan. Their connection to the spell broke completely.

"You motherfucker!!!" Rosalina screamed.

She started throwing every spell she knew at the black light. One after another. Fast and wild.

She didn’t even care anymore that she was revealing her family’s secret spells. She just wanted him dead.

"Die! Die! Die!" she kept shouting.

Julius was right beside her, doing the same.

Even though his body felt like it was about to collapse, he kept firing spell after spell.

Everything his father and mother had taught him since he was a child, he threw it all at the black light.

Fire, darkness, curses, cutting winds, poison needles, everything.

But nothing worked.

The black light simply swallowed every single attack like it was hungry. It drank them all up without any effort.

"Guh!"

Both of them fell to their knees at the same time. Their faces were ghost-white. Blood, thick, dark, dead blood, poured out of their mouths.

They looked ridiculous.

Two powerful masked experts, who had just burned ten years of their own lives, now kneeling on the cold floor like beaten dogs.

All that effort, all that pain, and they couldn’t even scratch Crypian’s hair.

Rosalina’s eyes filled with angry tears. She crawled forward on her hands and knees, her body shaking badly.

She threw herself onto Julius, nearly knocking him over.

"What the fuck is this thing?!" she screamed, her voice cracking. "How is this even possible?!"

Julius couldn’t hold her weight. Both of them crashed onto the cold ground in a messy pile.

He stared at the ceiling with blurry eyes, his head pounding like someone was hammering nails into his skull.

He had planned to let Crypian grow stronger first. He wanted to wait until Crypian had everything to lose, then crush him slowly and enjoy it. But now?

He wanted to laugh at his own stupid plan.

They had gone all out. They sacrificed ten years of their long, precious lives. And the guy was still at his weakest stage. He didn’t even have his system yet.

And they couldn’t even touch him.

"How the fuck... am I supposed to kill him?" Julius whispered.

His eyes slowly closed. Rosalina had already passed out on top of him, her body limp.

The hall became completely silent.

Then, with a soft *click*, something small fell from where Crypian had been standing.

A square key dropped onto the stone floor. It rolled a short distance with a quiet tinkling sound... and stopped right next to Julius and Rosalina’s unconscious bodies.

....

....

Meanwhile, back at the academy grounds, the giant pillar of white light was still shining brightly in the middle of the open field.

It hadn’t faded yet, which meant the inheritance inside still hadn’t been fully claimed.

A small group of people stood around the light with serious faces.

Dean Orin Belebright, Senior Professor Lucian Duskwood, and several other professors waited in silence.

The dean stood right next to Alia, who had come out of the gate a few minutes earlier.

When Crypian finally stepped out of the glowing gate, both the dean and Alia let out a loud sigh of relief.

"Crypian!" the dean said, quickly stepping forward.

He placed a hand on his disciple’s shoulder and looked him up and down.

He had been extremely worried. News had already reached him that the students who died inside the trial had died for real.

Around two hundred students had returned safely, but many others were gone forever.

The heavy loss had forced the academy to close for the past month.

But the thing that worried the dean the most was that Crypian and Alia had not come back.

When Alia finally appeared, she looked pale, exhausted, and her face was covered in tear marks.

The dean’s heart sank. He immediately asked her what happened.

She started telling him how they were attacked by the masked pair when Crypian suddenly walked out of the gate.

Crypian’s face was ghostly white. His eyes were wide open with fear and shock. He looked like he had just seen death itself.

’What just happened...?’ he thought.

He was sure that spear was going to kill him. It carried the power of life and death.

There was no way he should have survived. But then that strange black light appeared and saved him.

The moment he remembered the black light, something clicked in his head.

"The key..." he whispered.

Crypian quickly reached into his vest pocket, searching desperately. But it was empty. His throat went dry. His face turned even paler.

"That thing saved me... but it fell inside," he muttered. Clear regret flashed across his face.

’Damn it!’ Crypian thought. His face twisted with deep regret. A heavy frown settled on his forehead.

That key was the only way to enter the 11th floor.

There were just two paths: either win the Love Guardian’s acknowledgement or use the square key.

The masked pair had neither. But now Crypian had lost the key inside.

"What shitty luck!" he cursed under his breath.

The dean shook his shoulder firmly. "Crypian!"

"Ah..." Crypian blinked and snapped back to reality. He looked around and saw all the professors staring at him with worried eyes.

Alia stood a little further away, her face pale and tired but filled with clear relief after their long and dangerous journey.

He gave her a small, warm smile. She returned it weakly.

The dean looked straight into his eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice full of worry.

Crypian nodded slowly. "Yes... I’m okay."

The dean stared at him for a long moment, as if making sure he was really standing there alive, then gave a firm nod.

"Lucian," the dean called out.

Senior Professor Lucian Duskwood immediately stepped forward.

"Take care of them," the dean ordered.

Then his expression changed completely. His eyes turned cold and sharp. The air around him grew heavy with pure rage.

"I know who you are, you masked freaks!!" he growled through gritted teeth. His voice was low but filled with burning anger. "You dared to attack my students... my disciples!"

He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

"If I don’t capture you and make you pay for every single student you harmed, then I’m not Orin Belebright!!"

With those powerful words, the dean turned and walked straight toward the bright white pillar of light.

Without any hesitation, he touched it and vanished inside in an instant.
