Revenge Begins: Reincarnated as a Hated Idol!

Chapter 116: Silent Demonstration

"Your scene is," Richard informed.

"You were hiding in your wife’s closet to surprise her on her birthday, but she comes in with her coworker from the office. And then you see her cheating on you with him."

Klis gave a nod to Richard and then moved close to the wall, his back pressing against it.

He brought his hands close to his chest as if he were holding a bouquet of flowers.

He then kept his eyes closed for three seconds as an excited, anticipatory smile appeared on his devilishly handsome face, as if he couldn’t wait to jump out and surprise his wife.

When he opened his eyes, they had a shine in them.

A happy one, at that.

He ran a hand through his hair, as if correcting his appearance so he wouldn’t look bad when he surprised her.

Then his eyes shone brightly for a second, widening slightly before confusion reflected in them.

His expression wasn’t exaggerated; it was only his eyes that conveyed confusion.

Then they suddenly widened in horror.

Everyone understood that he had seen the brutal truth.

His breathing grew heavy as he brought a hand to his mouth, pressing it there to cover any sound that might escape.

He trembled, albeit slightly, denial and doubt filling his eyes as if he were questioning the reality he was witnessing.

Then, as if he couldn’t bear to watch what happened next, he squeezed his eyes shut and brought his hands to his ears, unwilling to hear the sounds.

A small tear streamed from his eye as he began to slump against the wall.

Then everyone saw his teeth grit, his jaw clench, his face turning red.

But soon, he lost the strength to even do that, and only a sorrowful expression of betrayal remained.

Then, he suddenly opened his eyes and smiled, standing upright.

He was out of character as he bowed to mark the end of his performance.

Everyone remained silent, still engrossed in the scene.

It was only after he bowed that they realized it was over.

Clap!

A loud round of applause rolled around the room like thunder, accompanied by a few whistles.

"I couldn’t even look away."

"It felt as if I was watching a movie."

"Did you notice his micro-expressions? Just genius!"

"Of course. He’s Klis Ether, after all."

"A genius is a genius."

Meanwhile, Richard spoke:

"Klis, I won’t insult you by judging your performance," he said. "I will instead request you to impart your wisdom to these juniors."

Klis nodded in agreement as Richard went and sat in his seat, removing all distractions.

Klis then spoke after taking a long breath.

"Everyone. The most I can help you with is by telling you my approach to a scene—how I act and what techniques I have developed."

Most of the students leaned forward with interest and anticipation.

Klis smiled and continued.

"First is breathing patterns."

"I have trained my body to react to different breathing patterns."

"For example, if I want to do an emotional scene, I take heavy, slow breaths. This makes me shed tears naturally and become emotional."

"Similarly, for different situations, I breathe differently."

"Second is observation."

"I observe small things and reactions in daily life."

"Like how my neighbor acted when he had a baby for the first time. How he reacted when he married the woman of his dreams."

"Similarly, how I felt when my father died, and how I felt when I received the scholarship to attend this university."

"How I felt in success, and how I felt in failure."

"Observation adds detail to your acting, which makes it more refined."

"Third is experience."

"If you haven’t drunk alcohol yourself, you will most likely imitate a person you have seen drunk."

"Imitation works for many, but I guarantee it only brings 90% realism."

"Because your mind knows you are faking it."

"Last is practice!"

"This is the most important."

"To tell you the truth, I wasn’t even half as good as some of you may be," he smiled embarrassedly. "But with time, I learned, practiced, and refined my art."

"The me you see today is someone who has gone through failures, hard work, and relentless practice to become like this."

He clapped his hands with a faint smile.

"Lastly, I assure you that hard work pays off.

Practice makes you better.

You just need to keep pushing, and you will succeed!"

He bowed, ending his speech.

A thunderous applause enveloped the room as students stood up to show respect to their senior.

"Cut—!"

The director yelled as he leaned back on his chair, letting out a sigh of relief. Then, an excited expression crept up on his face.

’Perfect! This is perfect! With this level of acting, this drama will surely turn out to be a masterpiece.’

The screenwriter saw his expression and commented, "Don’t get too excited. The drama is from the female lead’s perspective."

While they discussed, the other actors crowded Aren, praising him and introducing themselves.

"You were great, Mr. Aren. I feel blessed to be playing a role in your drama."

"Me too. I left a significant role just to act alongside you."

"Mr. Aren, can I get a photograph after the shoot?"

Titan Crest Entertainment, Chairman’s Office,

Neil was sitting in his throne-like chair, his expression dark.

Aden Stokes had left his agency, joining Phoenix Talent Management.

Even though he had received a huge penalty amount as compensation, he wasn’t happy.

His company was falling, and it was evident.

His company’s valuation had fallen even further. Originally it was a 140 billion Siera company; however, after the scandal, it fell to 70 billion. And now, it had fallen even further by 10 billion, standing at 60 billion.

Even this ten billion drop was thanks to the penalty amount stabilizing the losses; otherwise, the drop would have been even more.

In real time, many partners broke their partnerships with them. Brands were breaking endorsement deals with actors signed with them.

Even Adrian Jones and Cassian Law were facing the same issue. They were stars who attracted huge endorsement deals; however, right now, brands were even breaking deals with them.

While he was trying to find a way out of his predicament, Adrian Jones barged into his office.

"Neil! I need an answer!" He yelled. "My movie is about to release in two days, yet the pre-booking sales are laughable. Do you really...
