Disaster-Level Player Is Too Good at Broadcasting

Chapter 97 - 97: « Su-been's Hot Debut! »

The floating broadcasting drones of White Star Ent hummed with a soft, expensive whir, their lenses glowing with a professional blue light as they hovered over the jagged terrain of the 12th Floor. After the chaotic, world-shaking events of the 11th Floor Abyss expedition, the Tower's "Normal Stream" had finally resumed.

In the center of the frame stood Woonhee, wearing a tactical but stylish summoner's outfit. Beside her was a tall, lanky 18-year-old boy named Sung Su-been. He was fidgeting with the hilt of a standard-issue iron dagger, his eyes darting toward the camera drones with a look of pure, unadulterated social anxiety.

"Hello, everyone! It's your favorite Summoner, Woonhee!" she chirped, giving a practiced peace sign to the camera. "Today is a very special day! We are officially debuting White Star Ent's newest rookie. Everyone, say hi to Su-been!"

The chat window, projected on a semi-transparent HUD for the duo, began to scroll at a dizzying speed.

- Simp_for_Woonhee: WOOOO! Woonhee-Noona is back!

- Tower_Lurker: Wait, she's helping this kid debut? Who is he?

- Meta_Slave_99: He looks like he's about to faint lol.

- Pro_Analyst: First she helped 'Singularity' debut as a porter, and now this kid? Is he the next monster rookie?

- Woonhee_Simp_2: Could this kid also grow into something like Singularity? No way. Look at his hands shaking.

- Bit_Coin_King: 10,000 Won says he trips in the first five minutes.

"A-Ah... Hello. I'm Su-been," the boy stuttered, bowing so low he nearly hit his head on his knee. "P-Please take care of me."

"Don't be so stiff, Su-been-ah!" Woonhee laughed, patting his shoulder. "Today, we're tackling the Imperial Tortoise Beetle trial. It's a Floor 12 classic! It's huge, it's tanky, and most importantly ...it respawns every thirty minutes. It's the perfect place for a live training session!"

A massive, rumbling sound echoed through the canyon. From behind a pillar of rock, a creature the size of a small house emerged. It was the Imperial Tortoise Beetle. Its shell was a dark, iridescent green, reinforced with thick, bony ridges that looked like mountain peaks. Its six legs were thick as tree trunks, tipped with serrated claws.

"Okay, viewers!" Woonhee pointed at the beast. "The player community knows five ways to kill this thing. We're going to show you as many as we can! Su-been, you ready?"

"I... I think so." Su-been whispered.

He had put almost all his status points into Speed. He didn't have special skills like other players, but he could move faster than most players could track...if he didn't trip over his own feet first.

"Let's start with Method One: The Classic Flip!" Woonhee shouted.

A magic circle appeared before Woonhee.

Poof! Poof! Poof!

Three slimes appeared. Pinky was a bright, neon pink and extremely sticky. Greeny was a bubbling puddle of lime-green acid. Bluey was a translucent blue slime that functioned like a bouncy shield.

"Greeny, dissolve the traction! Pinky, bind the left legs!"

The slimes surged forward. Greeny slid under the beetle's massive feet, melting the stone into a slick, acidic slush. Pinky leaped onto the beetle's joints, anchoring its left side to the ground with high-tensile slime threads.

"Now, Su-been! The center of gravity!"

Su-been vanished. He didn't just run; he blurred.

- Speed_Is_Life: WHOA! He's fast!

- Dungeon_Master: 0 to 100 real quick.

- Noob_Slayer: Still looks like a wet noodle though.

Su-been appeared at the beetle's right side. He slammed his shoulder reinforced by a small blue holographic patch from his budget gear into the creature's underside. With the left legs stuck and the ground slick, the massive beetle groaned and tipped over with a thunderous CRASH, exposing its soft, white belly.

Su-been didn't waste time. He plunged his dagger into the vulnerable spot.

[Imperial Tortoise Beetle has been slain!]

[Method 1: The Inversion – Clear!]

"W-We did it!" Su-been panted, wiping sweat from his forehead.

"Great job! Now, don't relax! Method Two: The Joint Break!" Woonhee cheered. "Viewers, donate 50,000 Won if you want to see Su-been try the 'Drift-and-Slice' technique!"

The donations started rolling in.

[Donation]

- Tiger_Fan_2026: ₩50,000 - Do it, kid! Don't let Woonhee-Noona down!

The beetle respawned in a shower of golden light. It was angrier now, its shell glowing with a defensive aura.

For the next two hours, the stream was a whirlwind of comedy and combat. Su-been was undeniably fast, but his lack of combat experience led to some hilarious moments. At one point, he ran so fast he couldn't stop and slammed face-first into Bluey, who sent him bouncing across the canyon like a pinball.

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" he shouted mid-air, while the chat erupted in 'L's and laughing emojis.

By Method Four, they were both exhausted. This method involved sending Greeny inside the beetle's mouth to dissolve it from within while Su-been distracted it by running circles around its head.

"Ugh, that was gross," Su-been said, looking at the dissolving beetle. "Do we really have to do Method Five? The 'Shell-Gap Strike'? The community says only A-Rankers can hit that tiny gap in the neck armor while it's charging."

Woonhee checked the viewer count. "1.2 million people are watching, Su-been. If you land this, you're not just a rookie. You're a star!"

Su-been took a deep breath. He steeled himself. As the beetle respawned and charged at him like a runaway freight train, he didn't dodgeband waited.

Cling!

At the last possible second, he slid between the beetle's front legs. His dagger flashed, a silver streak in the dim light of the floor. He found the one-inch gap in the armored plates.

CRACK.

The beetle's massive head sagged. It slid across the sand, coming to a halt just inches from the broadcasting drones.

[Method 5: The Needle Threader – Clear!]

[You have earned a Rare Reward: Reinforced Carapace Greaves!]

"And that's a wrap!" Woonhee beamed at the camera. "Su-been-ah, you were amazing! Everyone, make sure to follow Su-been's new channel and White Star Ent for more growth! Goodbye, everyone! Peace!"

Su-been waved awkwardly at the camera. "G-Goodbye... thank you for the jerky donations..."

The blue lights on the drones faded as the "LIVE" signal was cut. The broadcasting crew began packing up their portable equipment, moving to a safe zone further down the trail.

Woonhee and Su-been sat down on a flat rock, sharing a bottle of high-grade mana water. The silence of the Tower felt heavy after the constant noise of the stream.

"Whew... I'm dead," Su-been groaned, leaning back. "Hey, Woonhee-Noona... I saw the news before we entered. Kang Min-ssi... he really saved everyone on the 11th Floor, didn't he? People are calling him 'The Human Singularity' now."

Woonhee took a slow sip of her water, her expression softening. "Yeah. He was amazing. I was there, remember? It wasn't just strength. It was... presence. Like the Tower itself was bowing to him."

Su-been stared at his dagger. "It's crazy. It feels like just yesterday we were in that dungeon with the loan sharks. I still remember how he looked at us. We were so pathetic back then... trafficking players for those bastards just to make a few Won."

Woonhee flinched slightly, her eyes downcast. "I don't like to talk about that part of my life, Su-been. We were desperate, and we were wrong. If it weren't for Kang Min... I'd probably be dead or in a cell right now. He gave us a chance to turn a new leaf."

She looked at the horizon of the 12th Floor, where the artificial sun was setting. "Honestly, if there's one person in this whole world I would love to move around with even if it meant being a permanent subordinate it would be Kang Min."

"Because he's the strongest?" Su-been asked.

"No," Woonhee shook her head. "Not just because of his power. It's because... when you're around him, you feel like the world is bigger. Like you can learn things you didn't even know existed. His growth is endless."

Su-been sighed, a bit envious.

"Not for me. I don't care about the growth as much. I just want to know how he became that strong in just a couple of months."

He turned to Woonhee, his eyes curious. "You've been with him longer than anyone.

How did you even find him? Was it some secret guild recruitment?"

Woonhee's mind flashed back.

She remembered finding the naked man in a green field of flowers.

She felt her face heat up. She had decided long ago to dismiss that memory. Someone as strong and mysterious as Kang Min clearly had his reasons for his strange entrance.

"I... I already told you..." she said, coughing into her hand to hide her blush.

"We ran into each other in the player lobby during the Tutorial. He looked... uh... very striking, even back then."

Su-been squinted at her.

"Striking?"

"He was... uniquely composed!" Woonhee added quickly, standing up and dusting off her pants.

"Anyway, we should get moving. The crew is waiting at the teleport gate."

"Right, right," Su-been stood up, stretching his sore legs.
