Chapter 159: My Hero!
{Belladonna - Percy?? What the hell?! Was that one of your guys?}
{Prince of Stars - I’m taking care of it. I swear, That was not my orders!}
Belladonna whipped her head across the battlefield, to where the illustrious Prince of Stars was situated with his guild, as the Prince himself was having a seemingly heated conversation with the rat within his ranks. A rat with pretty blonde hair and an irritating attitude.
Of course it was Lox... Who else would it be? It was as if that woman lived to make her life miserable, or simply got her kicks out of putting herself in the most idiotic situations.
"See? What did I tell you?" Revenant whispered beside her, as he once again appeared out of the shadows. His voice laced with so much malice and venom, he reminded her of the serpent in the garden of Eden leading her to evil.
"He’s nothing but a filthy traitor, waiting to dig the knife in and twist it until you’re dead."
"Shut up." She hissed back, keeping her eyes forwards and on Prince of Stars as she continued, "He said it was a mistake and I believe him. It’s all that woman’s fault. If it wasn’t for her, it wouldn’t have happened."
"Oh? that woman, huh? Is that so?" He muttered with a wicked, condescending smirk as if he was listening to the most pathetically naïve thing in the world.
"Then how about I take care of that problem for you, and you can see exactly where his loyalties lie."
"Take care of it? What are you-" She said with a frown, turning around to face him, but soon realised she was talking to nothing but air and a few whisps of shadows.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?! I didn’t give you any orders to fire!" Prince of Stars shouted at LusciousLox, slapping her hand down as it was still pointed to where she had launched her fireball.
The woman pouted as in a way that she was sure was irresistibly adorable, and was so to many of the men within the lower ranks of the guild, but was absolutely useless against Prince of Stars anger. That didn’t stop her from trying however.
"Why are you shouting at me Princy. I was just trying to help. I didn’t want her to take the kill, it should belong to my precious Princy."
"I am not your... Ugh." Prince of Stars started to shout in anger, before letting out a exasperated sigh. In public like this, he had to control his anger towards her, all for the good of the brand. It was most important to the suits in charge, who’s membership included his own father.
"They are working with us." He started to explain, however he didn’t get much farther before she interrupted again.
"Why do we need the likes of her helping us, never mind her filthy little friends? Don’t you know what she did to me! Aren’t you mad that bitch hurt your dear girlfriend that you love so very much?"
She said, emphasising the words ’girlfriend’ and ’love’ as much as she could, as if that would make them actually true instead of a sham, all whilst giving Prince of Stars a very intense and borderline crazy stare.
Prince of Stars clenched his fist tight and was about to say more, when the shadows behind Lox shifted. He immediately grabbed her shoulder, pulling her towards him whilst wrapping his shield arm around her.
Lox let out a sharp yelp of genuine surprise, before she found herself pressed against Prince of Stars breastplate. She swiftly followed up by letting out an overly practiced, dramatic and breathy gasp as she forced herself into his chest more, practically clinging to him like a Koala.
All the while, gazing up at his handsome and serious face with stars in her eyes. He truly was her knight in shining armour. He always had been ever since that first day when they both fell in love with each other.
Perhaps now, he was finally starting to remember it!
Prince of Stars was completely oblivious to the rambling thoughts of the woman he had pressed against him, even if she was forcing herself into him so much that he was starting to be pushed off balanced.
He was too concerned with the Necromancer that Belladonna called ’Corpse Face’, among other degrading names, and the fact that he had appeared out of the shadows wielding a wicked, black bladed scythe.
A scythe that had its point digging into Prince of Stars shield as he defended both himself and Lox from the sudden attack. The golden aura surrounding his shield clashing against the wretched black aura that surrounded the scythe.
"What are you doing?" Prince of Stars hissed at him over the sound of metal screeching as it scraped against itself.
"You were taking too long. I thought it would be better if I got rid of the traitor myself." Revenant replied, his voice devoid of any emotion other than hatred, as his entire being overflowed with an aura of malice and bloodlust.
"I said I am taking care of it. You are only making this worse!" Prince of Stars shouted back as LusciousLox clung to him tighter, pushing him a step back with how intense she was forcing herself into him.
He couldn’t even be bothered looking down at her for more than a second, which didn’t matter much to her as she was busy imagining all the heroic things that Prince of Stars was definitely saying as he kept constantly sending loving glances her way.
With a strong thrust of his shield, Revenant was thrown backwards a few feet, where he landed steadily and twirled his scythe into a lazy fighting position.
"See now... Whoever said I was talking about her?"
Prince of Stars frowned deeply in confusion but had to quickly raise his shield again to block the next lunging strike. He stepped backwards, trying to find surer footing as Revenant sent a barrage of wild attacks his way.
He batted away as many as he could with his shield, as that was all he had to use, since this damn woman was trapping his arm against his side with how tight she was holding him. He also had to drag her around with every step.
But now that he knew that she wasn’t the target, why did he even need to bother defending her? With a stronger shove, Prince of Stars freed his arm and pushed the vile woman off of him in the same movement.
He shoved her carelessly to the ground behind him, then immediately turned his back to her as he drew his sword. With sword in hand, Prince of Stars let his Providence shine bright as his already shining armour was wreathed in a majestic, golden light.
