"Li Wudi, why’re you messing around? Aren't you embarrassed?!" Qingyu hid her face in embarrassment and even called him out by his full name. Everyone was watching the farce!
"Apologies, I wasn't ready. Let me have a do-over," Wudi said, clearing his throat.
"You’d better shut up, lest you scare those blessings away!" Qingyu anxiously said.
Wudi looked around and noticed that it was actually a likely scenario! He hurried and cleared his throat before adopting a good posture. "Alright! I'm ready!"
When he said that, the incarnation of the cosmic god blood split into two, a human and beast form. The beast had characteristics of dragons and phoenixes, seemingly an amalgamation of the strongest of beasts. It constantly shifted its form, but its undying will seemed eternal.
"Come to me, old friend!" Wudi waved his hand.
"Just shut up you fool! Who's your old friend? Even if you don't care about your reputation, I do!" the blood-colored kunpeng said as it landed beside him.
As everyone watched, the cosmic god blood incarnations grew more and more corporeal. Then they entered Wudi and the kunpeng's body through their glabellas, completely flowing into them! The two of them seemed a bit taken aback and didn't show any reaction at first. All of a sudden, a blinding crimson-and-gold light came bursting out of their eyes, shooting through the flaming clouds above and plunged into Ebonia on the other end like a sword, lighting up part of the dark star!
