She's a major-zenith foundationeer, so all of her astrons are really powerful. Tianming was only trying to see if he could control her and wasn't sure if it would work.

The second thing was even more crucial: could he even create enough sword sigils to populate all her astrons? Only time would tell.
Honestly, trying to take control of her is much more trouble than just killing her. If it weren’t for her potential use, Tianming wouldn't even bother with the attempt.
