Chapter 133: The Stranger in My Dreams
However, this wasn’t some kind of a decent dream that involves my work or something.
Instead it was an erotic dream with a stranger.
There was a man in my dream doing unspeakable things to me. Moreover, his touch made my body come alive in a way Mike could never.
Even though it was a dream, it felt so real and my body responded more intensely compared to how it did to Mike.
I didn’t have any doubt that if it was that man that touched me before and went as far as Mike had gone, I wouldn’t have been able to hold back and stop him.
But why would I have that kind of dream with a stranger?
And what made it so weird was that I liked it so much and it felt right. Unlike when I was with Mike, it felt as if I belonged in his arms.
But who was that man? He was so handsome it was almost a sin to have such a face.
He was taller than anyone I had met before and his shoulders were so broad with strong arms and a perked chest.
He looked like a god descended, yet his touch was anything but holy.
When I woke up, the sun was already peaking through the curtains.
This was the first time I had overslept in nearly a decade. And it was all because of that shameful dream.
My body was sweaty and the flower between my thighs was so soaking wet my pantie was basically dripping.
"I can’t believe I had such a dream with a stranger." I muttered to myself as I got up and headed to the bathroom.
"Maybe it’s a sign. Speed up your rejection of Mike." Lizzie said a little too seriously.
"What do you mean?" I know for sure that Lizzie isn’t the kind of character who would encourage me to do something that went against morality.
So, there was something more to this matter.
"I won’t hurt you. Just do as I say. You will thank me some day." Lizzie refused to say anything more.
I have known her for so long that I knew no matter how much I nagged, if the wolf had decided not to say anything, she wouldn’t speak.
Now, instead of thinking of Mike, a stranger dominated my thoughts while in the bathroom.
As I scrubbed myself, all I could think of was his hands moving against my skin, making my body heat up.
"Aaahh...this can’t go on. I need a distraction." I said, rinsing myself with cold water and heading to the kitchen to make breakfast.
After breakfast, I went out for a walk in the forest to clear my head before heading back to the house to keep working.
"Do you remember what today is?" Lizzie suddenly asked.
I was absent-minded as I walked back to the house so I didn’t think much.
"It should be on Tuesday." I replied without much thought.
"Really? That’s all you can think of?" Lizzie asked in what felt like annoyance.
"Is there anything special about today? I need to work harder today so that I can finish that gig and see if I find something in the company servers of the Night Claw Pack Company." I really couldn’t think of anything, so I just said what came to mind.
Lizzie sighed in disappointment and was about to speak again when I heard the sound of a car engine heading towards my house.
It was still a distance away and if not for my wolf senses, I wouldn’t have picked up the sound.
Moreover, my watch also vibrated, showing that the motion sensors had been triggered.
"I didn’t order anything, so who could be coming here?" I asked as I opened the door and walked into the house.
I moved a baseball bat I had found in the house when I moved in near the door then went to get myself a cup of coffee to keep my mind sharp when I started coding later.
Just as I took the first sip of my coffee, the car finally appeared in front of my house and killed the engine.
I walked out slowly but stayed close enough to the door just in case I needed to grab the baseball bat.
However, my lips curled into a genuine smile when the car door on the driver’s seat opened and Shadow stepped out.
"Shadow." I called out in delight.
He was the only person I knew outside of the pack and he was my mentor who had given me a new beginning.
So, of course I was happy to see him.
However, for some reason, I felt a tingling under my skin and a chill on my spine when I smiled at him.
I could also feel my body heating up for no reason, yet I couldn’t tell why.
I took a few steps forward, intending to greet my mentor, when the door of the passenger’s seat opened and a tall man stepped out.
I was surprised because I didn’t expect Shadow to bring anyone to my house. But I believed that he wouldn’t harm me.
So, even if he brought a stranger to my house, it must be someone he trusts completely.
In that case, I had to welcome them properly.
They were the first guests in my house since I moved to this place.
In that case, I also had to entertain them well.
I couldn’t neglect them just because one of the guests was my teacher.
"Ghost, my dear, how have you been these two days?" Shadow asked with a friendly smile.
"I have been great. Did some work on the place. I didn’t expect you to come so soon." I replied just as warmly.
Then I turned to the stranger who had just gotten out of the car to say hi to him.
However, as soon as I saw his face, the cup in my hand slipped and fell to the ground, shattering to pieces on the stone veranda.
My eyes nearly popped out in shock and my heart raced at a sprinting pace while running a marathon.
"How could it be him?" I said this out loud unknowingly.
My reaction seemed to surprise both men but my mind wasn’t on their reaction, but on how the man in my dream was actually real.
So, when Shadow asked if I knew the man, I replied absent-mindedly and spilled the truth unknowingly.
"Do you know my friend?" Shadow asked.
Without thinking, I answered.
"I saw him in my dream." I could feel my face heating up at the thought of what that dream had involved.
Only after answering did I come back to my senses.
I felt so embarrassed, I turned around and ran inside the house in shame.
Running all the way upstairs to my bedroom and covering myself with a blanket as if hiding would erase everything.
