Chapter 134—Ploy
Cole could see the extreme confusion on Bryan’s face. He looked like he was listening to Cole speak another language completely.
"What do you mean by Capture Sylvester?" Bryan asked.
A weird expression appeared on Cole’s face when he heard Bryan’s question. He knew he was straightforward enough, so what could cause such a question?
"I meant it literally, Capture Sylvester."
"I know you did, but it all sounded extremely weird," he rolled his eyes.
"But why would you want to do that?" he asked.
Cole sighed gently before looking back at Bryan. Since he had explained most of the things to him the day before, things were much easier for him.
Cole calmly began explaining his findings to his friend. While he listened, Bryan’s face grew increasingly scrunched up the more he listened.
At the end of it all, Bryan’s eyes grew extremely furious. Despite not being one to like violence in a way at all. He still felt extremely averse to ploys like that.
"We could have died," he muttered.
"Anyone capable of making such a plan just for a little hurt to his ego doesn’t deserve peace."
Cole stood in front of him and nodded profusely to his words. He knew Bryan’s peace-loving nature, so he was more than happy to see him in such an irritated state.
"Now do you get why I need to capture him?" Cole asked.
Bryan didn’t say anything at all; he just nodded his head gently.
"But how do you need my help?" Bryan asked.
Despite not being able to think carefully while he was coming back from the library, Cole already had a plan in mind.
"I need your help in monitoring his location and trailing him," Cole said.
Bryan’s eyes suddenly widened in realization as he understood Cole’s words.
"Because you are suspended, right?" he pitched.
"Exactly, I don’t have access to the classrooms, so I have no idea what he is."
"But isn’t he also suspended?" Bryan asked.
"Yes, he is, but from my calculations, he should be resuming class tomorrow."
"Wow, just on time then," Bryan said.
"Luckily,"
"Now what about the plan specifics?"
"That’s what we will be talking about now," Cole responded.
From that moment on to a bit late in the night, the duo discussed their plans for tomorrow and how they were going to fulfill their missions.
"Alright then, we will do this tomorrow," they both agreed before going to bed.
In the blink of an eye, it was morning again, and the duo were forced to do whatever was on their separate schedules.
Before leaving the room to head to class, Bryan turned around and gave Cole a knowing nod.
Watching Bryan leave, Cole was now alone in the room, and he was ready to do whatever he wanted, just like he did yesterday.
He could remember that Eleanor told him the previous day to come over for something, so he planned to head there first.
The meeting with Eleanor wasn’t going to affect their plans since his mission was going to be much later in the day.
"We need the cover of night to do that kind of mission," he said in a low voice.
Since Cole had come to a conclusion on how his day was going to go, he quickly stood up to his feet and began preparing himself to head out.
About thirty minutes later, Cole was done with his preparations, and he immediately left the room to head over to the combat hall.
While on his way to the combat hall, Cole slowly rethought his plans and began refining everything.
Since he was mostly distracted, Cole didn’t even know when he suddenly found himself outside the Combat hall.
"Already here so fast," Cole muttered before proceeding into the hall.
Just like yesterday, the inside of the hall was completely empty, so Cole did what he did yesterday too.
He changed into combat wear, and he began slowly performing some intense physical workouts.
"This is really addictive," he said to himself.
Cole’s physical workout went on for quite an extensive period of time, and despite being on the lookout for Eleanor, he still couldn’t find her.
He continued the workout until he was completely out of juice and lying flat on the ground with his chest heaving up and down. The combat uniform stuck tightly to his skin in an extremely uncomfortable way.
"Where’s teacher Eleanor?" Cole wondered.
He wanted to get on his feet and try searching for her, but he just couldn’t find the strength to even move.
"I think I need to rest for a while more," he laughed dryly.
Cole lay on the ground for a bit more till he felt as if he had regained a bit more strength and he was ready to stand up now.
He stood up and scanned the visible part of the hall aimlessly. Seeing no one around, Cole decided to check the other parts of the combat hall.
He moved towards the room; they had questioned the man previously to check, but upon getting there, Cole was quickly disappointed as there was no one there.
"I guess she isn’t here at all," he said to himself as he suddenly turned around.
The instant he turned around, though, Cole suddenly felt a large amount of danger coming from behind him, resulting in all the bells in his head ringing loudly.
"Ohh shit" was the only thought he managed to form before it was too late.
Cole knew it was too late to use kinetic acceleration all over his body to get out of the situation he was in, but thankfully he could do partial acceleration.
Making use of his recently acquired skill, Cole moved his head to the side to quickly dodge the lethal attack.
"Whizzz" He heard something fly just beside his head.
Cole knew the danger wasn’t over, so he quickly used Kinetic acceleration to speed and burst forward.
When Cole got to what felt like a far enough distance, he turned around to see what exactly attacked, and his eyes immediately widened in shock.
