[VRMMO] Dead One

The two men continued their rampaging fight.

With each swing, the ground open up.

With each swing, the skies cried out.

With each swing, the nature itself died out.

Both men fought like monsters.

Mug launched several attacks nonstop, each one either possessing precise and piercing strikes with trident, or a crushing wave of water magic.

But each time he launched one, Wretch would just tank the attack, before then going for the counter, which either landed a strike or forced Mug to retreat in order to avoid taking any critical hit.

(Damn! The hell did he become?!) – thought Mug as he tried creating some distance between himself and Mug, only to suddenly see two axes flying towards him, emitting an extremely large amount of demonic and necrotic energy that formed two giant saw wheels.

"[Water Jet]!" – Mug in panic fired off his skill, launching himself in the air, avoiding two giant saw blades that came his way.

But as he did launched himself, so did Wretch with his [Demonic Desire], sending him flying after Mug.

"[Breaker-"

"[Spear Art: True Pierce]!" – Wretch tried attacking Mug mid air with his fist, but Mug reaction time was faster, as he thrusted forward his trident, stabbing Wretch in his right arm, which stopped his skill from firing off.

"[Demon Core]!" – but Wretch didn't gave up as he pulled his right arm backwards, forcing Mug to get closer to the orc against his will, before moments later Wretch created a giant demonic sphere that then exploded, creating a giant eruption of the demonic energy that swallowed both men instantly.

After the explosion occurred, both men were then straight up then launched towards the ground, where they crash landed.

"…"

"Tch." – Wretch got up from the ground and quickly used [Weapon Recovery: Axe], to call back his two thrown axes.

(Magic maybe not my specialty, but the [Demon Core] is one of the strongest spells of the [Arch Demon Mage] class.)

(He should had at least taken some proper damage…. And yet, he is getting right back up as if nothing had happened.) – thought Wretch as he saw Mug getting back up.

(Spear type classes usually focus mostly on offence, but they also have soldi amount of defensive skills.)

(His trident skills share the same characteristics.)

(But his fishing rod?)

(It can do all sort of shit.)

(There are also his mage classes.)

(Especially the [Sea Mage] and [Mad Sea Mage].)

([Sea Mage] is class that mostly uses support skills, like defense or buffs, but it also has few hard-hitting skills.)

(While the [Mad Sea Mage] is a completely opposite of that class.)

(It is a full offence orientated class.)

(Every single skill he has from that class is an attack type skill.)

(Even the bloody barrier.)

(Wel… He has that one skill that negates damage… I think it was [Mad Sea Coward], right? But he had already used it up.)

(Either way, he is annoying all-rounder.)

(Defense, offence, support, movement, control and all sort of shit.)

(He has it all….)

(However, his main specializes is close range combat.)

(That is his strongest point.)

(Hm…. This ain't good.) – thought Mug.

(I know this guy gotten stronger compare to the last time we had fought…. But the hell is this?)

(I know the death knight race and class specialty.)

(It is their "Undying" trait.)

(No matter how badly you damage their bodies, they won't die. Leg, arm, toros or even head. They can survive as long as they have HP.)

(The only way to kill them is just deal critical amount of damage or completely destroy their body.)

(But that guy? I can't cut off even one of his limbs.)

(I've fired off few utlimates into him already, but he is still standing.)

(Even if he posses advance berserker class build, he should had survived until now.)

([Demonic Paladin] and its advance classes grants the user a bit of regeneration, but that is it.)

(Most of their skills are offence oriented.)

(No. Forget the build.)

(I can speculate all I want about what classes he has or not….)

(Instead, focus on his actions.)

(He always charges head on.)

(No matter how much he get hit or how deadly blow I land on him, he keeps just charging.)

(A berserker way of fighting.)

(The problem is, that he not only posses powerful defense, but also offence….. And I think he also posses some sort of damage reduction skill or item… And possible even several regeneration-based items and skills.)

([Echo Of Berserker].)

(A skill belonging to the [True Berserker] class.)

(It causes the user power to gets stronger the more damage he sustains nonstop.)

(He probably has it, considering how each of his swings started getting more and more powerful after each exchange.)

(Yeb…. This could end up badly for me.)

(The longer this fight drags on, the stronger he gets.)

(And if he is really elder death knight… He can probably resurrect himself after his death.)

(Just like that elder necromancer bastard I've fought.)

(Doom showed it as well. A resurrection ability.)

(Is it a class related ability? Or maybe race related ability?)

(That lich whom I've fought before was able to resurrect himself only once.)

(But Doom was able to do that twice.)

(What about him?)

(If he is really Elder Death Knight, does that mean he also has a resurrection ability?)

(And does he has 1 or 2 resurrections?)

(Should I use everything I have left on me?)

(But if I do that, then I won't have any surprises left for the finals.)

(Long and Alamin are both dangerous foes… More dangerous that this guy here.)

(I can chip away his HP enough to overtake his regeneration speed…. But the longer fights lasts for and more damage he takes, he stronger he will gets.)

(There is also resurrection ability.)

(If I'm honest, for him it will be far more benefitting, since he is a tank.)

(And if he is really in possession of the [True Berserker], he probably has the [The Undying Warrior Spirit], which causes the target to get free extra moments of life and a powerful power up.)

(How would that work? Would each time he has died, he would come back to life for few seconds and be a real monster, before then having the timer run out and have his resurrection ability make him alive again for real?)

(Or would that skill only trigger once, after he has lost all of his extra lives?)

"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?! Are you coming or not?!" – shouted Wretch across the devastated field.

"How about you get your ass over here instead?!" – shouted Mug.

"…"

*Sigh*

Wretch lifted up one of his axes before then taking on a throwing position.

"?"

(Is he planning on throwing his weapons again?) – thought alarmed Mug.

"[Axe Art: Saw Axe]!" – Wretch threw one of his axes at Mug, causing his weapon to not only quickly traverse the battlefield, but also spin at the rapid rate, causing the weapon to straight up become a saw.

(This thing again? But it looks weaker!) – thought suspicious Mug who instead of trying to dodge the attack, got ready to counter the attack.

"[Sea Shell]!" – Mug deployed a sea shell of water, which took on the saw blade like attack… And not only blocked it, but also caused the blade to bounce off.

"[Axe Art: Power Point]!" – and right afterwords, Axe threw his second axe, this time throwing it in a straight line.

"???"

(Again?!) – thought extremely suspicious Mug who kept up his barrier as the axe came his way.

As for Wretch?

He didn't moved.

After throwing both of his weapons he just stood in place, doing straight up nothing.

Which not only alarmed Mug, but also made him extremely suspicious of the orcs plan.

"[Red Hate: Haste]." – Mug refused to take his eyes off Wretch, thinking that the man was planning something…. And he was correct.

As the orc suddenly disappeared into the red light, right in front of Mug's eyes.

And before Mug could even try looking around, Wretch suddenly appeared near his fallen axe he threw at first.

"[Red Hate: Suffering Strike]!"

"!" – Mug found Wretch's location, but it was too late.

The orc instantly closes up the distance between himself and the atlantian and then smashed his axe covered in the deep red energy, smashing his blade against still active barrier… Which instantly shattered on the spot, against Mug's believes.

The red axe and the thrown axe hit Mug at the same time, landing both critical stakes on the man.

Mug was instantly sent flying through the field, but he was able to quickly recover by stabbing the ground with his trident, stopping himself in the tracks.

"?!"

However, as Mug gotten up, he quickly realized something.

His right arm.

It was gone.

"…"

"You son of a bitch." – said Mug.

"You were still not going all out?"

"Says fucking you." – replied Mug as the deep red energy was emanating from his whole body.

"I fucking saw you fighting GreyHunt during the previous tournament."

"And I know you still have a lot of tricks left in your ass."

"So, stop being a fucking bastard who think you can beat me by hiding your cards."

"AND FUCKING SHOW ME ALREADY!"

"UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET FUCKING DEFEATED BY ME!"

"YOU MOTHERFUCKER!"
