"Yeah… I guess so." – replied Mug.

(Last time we had fought, he completely destroyed me.) – thought nervous Wretch.

(And to make it even worse…. He wasn't even going all out back then!) – thought angry Wretch.

(I've became stronger, but so did he.)

(I've seen his past matches…. And I can definitely tell.)

(He is at "their" level.)

(He changed.) – thought Mug as he stared at giant orc who was towering over the player with his over 3.5 meters of height.

(He not only grew in size, but he also grew new horns…New body markings… And his eyes are straight up glowing blue.)

(I've fought bastard like him once.)

(A leader of the sea orc tribe.)

(He is noble orc, isn't he?)

(It would explain his abnormal size and markings.)

(Or would it?)

(I mean, he looks far more demonic compare to the before.)

(He has horns not only growing from his head, but also from his knees and elbow.)

(If I were to guess… He is pandemonium demon, isn't he?)

(But there is also that weird cape.) – thought Mug as he stared at the shadowy blue cape that was attached to the Mug's back. Camp made out of darkish flames.

(That screams EMO and stuff.)

(But that doesn't seems like his style.)

(Not only that, he also has like… His eyes are straight up burning. Like literally? They are on fire.)

(They are emitting the same kind of flame as the cape.)

(It doesn't look like an item…. So maybe a skill?)

(But then again, his skin also has a second set of symbols.)

(If I remember correctly, he is a death knight.)

(Death knight racial features are glowing eyes and symbols as well as pale skin.)

(Tattoo like markings.)

(Countless demonic horns.)

(And weird looking "dead" flames.)

(If I'm guessing this correctly, he evolved in 3 different ways?)

(That guy, Tail, the guy from the same guild as him also looked different.)

(He was much taller and he was also over 3 meters tall.)

(He had way too many horns growing from his back and his scales made it look like he was wearing some sort of heavy armor.)

(He also did not had that cute and goofing kobold appearance… But like a dragon? Or alligator one? Maybe a hybrid of both?)

(Either way, I guess even though these monsters are not participating, I guess they made sure to turn their people into even bigger monsters?)

[Player [Wretch] declared his ready status.]

"Hey. Are you going or not?" – asked Wretch.

"Yeah." – replied Mug before hitting the floating button.

[Player [Mug] declared his ready status.]

[Match will be soon starting.]

[Preparation phase begins.]

Both players without waiting a second instantly began both buffing themselves as much as possible as the clock was ticking.

"?"

(He isn't summoning anything?) – thought alarmed Mug as the clock was reaching the end.

(Is he planning on taking me solo?)

The barrier between two players sides disappeared and right in the very next moment, Wretch like a straight up rocket flew towards Mug, instantly destroying the distance between two warriors.

[Hell Warrior Charge]

"!?"

Mug was completely caught off guard by the giant's speed, which threw the atlantian completely off guard.

Mug tried putting up his guard, but before he could, he was already sent flying with the wave of the demonic energy.

And right after he got sent flying, Wretch instantly fallowed up with [Dragon Chase], a [Dragon Warrior] class skill that boosts the user speed exceptionally until they reach their target.

"!"

Mug this time was able to somewhat react as he swung his trident at the giant orc… But he didn't even tried blocking the attack.

The trident slashed the orc chest, but the orc responded with [Hell Blade: Pandemonium Strike].

Wretch smashed down both of his axes on top sea man, straight up smashing him against the ground as in the next moment an eruption of the demonic energy, which devasted the entire area and caused massive amount of dust to kick up.

"!"

"SHIT!" – and right after that, Wretch was suddenly sent flying out of cloud of dust with a pillar of water, which he stood up against and destroyed it with his demonic blades.

However, right as he destroyed one attack, Wretch noticed a fishing right in front of him.

Before Wretch could even counter it, the hook already caught him, and in the very next second, Wretch entire body was suddenly sent flying towards the cloud of dust, which Mug straight up ran out from.

"[Mad Sea: Weapon Of Sea]!"

"[Death Blade: Life Wrecker]!"

Two men instantly enchanted their attacks and clashed with each other, causing an eruption of the demonic and water energy to occur, which knocked back both combatants.

But none of them wanted that, as they instantly charged at each other and began exchanging blows.

Wretch blows were powerful and dangerous, while Mug's were precise and deadly.

In terms of speed, Mug was superior, however Wretches attacks were covering far more arear, causing both men to keep getting hit by each other attacks in the nonstop exchange, until-

"[Death Balde: Death Scythe]!"

"[Mad Sea Coward]!"

Wretch tried going for another power exchange with his foe by unleashing his ultimate attack of the [High Death Knight] class.

But Mug didn't cared.

He used his skill to transform himself into the pillar of water, which negated attack and then flew quickly around the death knight, before then taking on the form atlantian.

"[Trident Of Sea: Leviathan]!" – before Wretch could launch attack behind himself or try to even dodge, Mug instantly fired off his ultimate.

A concentrated blast of water fired off by his trident, which was fired the exact moment the blade touched Wretche's back, unleashing a massive amounts of water.

"…"

"[Dead Man Strike]."

"!?"

But Wretch wasn't dead by the attack.

Oh no.

He used the damage he just received to absorb it into his next attack as it then one of his axes struck Mug, landing a critical blow that sent the man flying.

(Shit! What the hell is going on?!) – thought Mug as he tried stopping himself from rolling.

(Last time I used that, it left a hole in his-)

"[Death Man March]!" – Wretch did not even tried giving the atlantian a moment of rest as he fired off his charge skill, which managed to catch Mug who tried to flee.

The charge landed and knocked the man into the air, but he wasn't allowed to fly away from the impact as the death knight grabbed the atlantian by his leg, before then smacking him on the ground.

Wretch tired striking down the fallen foe with his demonic blade, but right as it was about to.

"[Mad Sea: Shell]!"

A barrier of water appeared around the atlantian, which upon impact with the axe caused a massive explosion of water that not only damaged Wretch, but also applied a powerful knockback effect, which pushed the orc away.

Wretch tried going after Mug once again, but right as he was about to, he saw a trident, heading straight for his face.

Mug was able barley dodge the attack, causing the weapon to slash his should instead.

"[Mad Sea: Tsunami]!" – but that was a faint.

Mug threw his trident at the orc in order to distract him and allow the atlantad to summon a massive rampaging wave of water, which crushed on top of the orc.

"DO YOU THINK THIS WILL BE ENOUGH!?" – shouted Wretch through the powerful current of the water as he was using his defensive skills to face off against the tsunami.

"[Tsunami]!"

"[Greater Tsunami]!"

"[Sea Rage: Tsunami]!"

"…"

"Oh what the fuck." – and in response to that, Mug just fired off 3 additional giant of water, each one much bigger than the last one, as it then all stacked up all together, causing a massive wave of water to be born, which was too much for Wretch to handle as the orc was then swiped away by it, while the water itself completely destroyed the entire area, straight up demolishing everything and leaving behind a massive hole that extended forward.

"…"

"Okay… How the fuck are you alive?" – asked Mug as he saw Wretch from extremely far away getting up, who was now beyond pissed off.

(These skills may look like they are doing the same thing, but both [Sea Rage: Tsunami] and [Mad Sea: Tsunami] both do different things.)

(Mad Sea versions causes the user magic defense to drop drastically alongside taking massive amount of water element damage.)

(While the Sea Rage version applies a powerful debuff that causes the target to take extra damage from all water type damages.)

(Even if he stacked up buffs left and right, he got hit with 4 different tsunamis!)

(That should had at least ripped off a limb or crushed one!)

(Not only that, but [Trident Of Sea: Leviathan], which ignores the user defense should had been enough to least make a hole in his body.)

(If so, then high is his HP?! If he can easily take up that huge amount of damage without any trouble?!)

(Or maybe he has a damage reducing skill or item?)

"…"

(Either way… I think I may be in trouble.)

(Berserker.)

(But not some berserker-build user who just wants some extra power.)
