"Make way! Make way!" – shouted a knight.

"The guest are arriving! The guests are arriving!"

"Everybody move aside! Clear the landing zone! Let them come through!"

The knights and soldiers quickly began leaving the area, instantly clearing it up, revealing a spacious landing zone.

For whom may you ask?

For the dragons.

A group of 5 dragons accompanied by the group of Garog empire flying troops and dragons, made their way towards the landing zone.

However, out of the group of dragons, two stood out.

A dragon of yellow color, with a long serpent-like neck and tail, as well as set of six wings. However, despise its appearance… it was beautiful. It scales were like gems, glittering up the skies as if they were stars in the night.

And a dragon of red and yellow, a dragon equipped with countless claws like blades and scale like armor, giving the dragon appearance of a warrior…. No.

Its appearance wasn't that of a warrior alone, it was dignified… "Royal" in a sense.

It was appearance of a general.

The five dragons flew towards the landing zone and landed on it, before then instantly taking on their humanoid forms.

A general looking dragon took on his form, becoming that of a human long hair and beard that bare the yellow color, while also possessing a set of yellowish red dragon scales, horns and tail.

while the beautiful serpent like dragon took on the appearance of a beautiful woman in a yellow dress and white hair, whom also shared similar dragon-like characteristics.

"Greetings, o king and queen of the Pyrgos clan." – said ClownFrog as he stepped forward as all the soldiers and the dragons of the Garog empire bowed their heads.

"Welcome to the Garog empire. My dear guests." – said ClownFrog as he appeared in front of the dragon guests, alongside Blueberry and Aworia.

"The pleasure is all ours, o emperor of the Garog empire." – said Woi Pyrgos Sapienes as he grabbed ClownFrog hand and shook it.

"Allow me to formerly introduce myself once again, since this is the first time we are meeting face to face."

"Greetings."

"I'm one of the kings of the dragon empire of Mawoak, the king of the Pyrgos clan, Woi Pyrgos Sapienes."

"And that is my wife."

"Greetings. My name Aurora Pyrgos Sapienes." – said the dragon queen as she politically extended her hand forward.

"The pleasure is all mine." – said ClownFrog as he grabbed the queen hand.

"Now, now. All of you must be tired."

"How about I take you to the castle? I've already prepared all the rooms for you."

"If you don't mind." – replied the king as the dragons began fallowing ClownFrog and the others.

"…"

("Aurora. Can you hear me?") – thought Woi Pyrgos Sapienes.

("Yes dear. I've already established the connection.") – replied Aurora Pyrgos Sapienes with her thoughts.

("…What do you think of him?") – asked Woi with his thoughts.

("….")

("Aworia's reports were not fake.) – replied Aurora with her thoughts as she gazed at the ClownFrog's back.

("This man… He is beyond dangerous.")

("The stench of 'Death' coming off him isn't…. This isn't something you normally see.")

("And the empress herself isn't also some weakling.")

("She is also extremely powerful.")

("Yea… Even without your gift of sensing energies… I could tell myself that they are not normal.") – said Woi with his thoughts.

("This empire should be in the 'damaged' state… And yet what is that?")

("These soldiers aren't some nobodies. I can tell they are some sort of elites.")

("There are also these demonic dragons.")

("For him to command so many as well as many of the powerful ones…")

("If that is just fraction of the Garog empire's power, then what would happened if they fully recover?")

("Just how strong would they be?")

("….And yet that idiot of a son of mine, straight up tried killing him!?")

("For crying out loud! Not only he would had gotten himself easily killed if he fought that monster, but he could possibly put the entire dragon empire in danger.")

("Honey. Please calm down. He was already punished enough.") – said Aurora with her thoughts.

("For now, let's just focus on current issue.")

("You are right.") – replied Woi with his thoughts.

("No matter what, we need to make sure this marriage succeeds.")

("….However, in the meantime, we need to understand better who exactly is that emperor.")

("And 'WHAT' he is.")

The group of dragons were led straight into the castle, where they were met by a straight up army of servants, waiting to serv each of the dragons.

"If I'm not mistaken… Wasn't this castle once royal castle of the Oin empire?" – asked dragon king Woi as the group began exploring the inside of the castle.

"Hm? I see you are well informed." – said ClownFrog.

"Yes. This was once the castle that belonged to the Oin empire."

"The castle was originally destroyed during the war we had with the empire, but we managed to not only repair it and the whole city, but also upgrade it."

"If you like, you are free to explore the city in any way you wish."

"Well, don't mind if I do." – replied the dragon king.

"Still, I've got to say… Why did you decided for this place to be where the marriage will be held? Is there a reason for that?"

"Hm… If I were to say, it is for the convenient reasons." – said ClownFrog.

"This is the most peaceful parts of the empire."

"A part where anybody can go in and out."

"I've thought about doing it in our capital city…. But then I've realized it would be just a pain in the ass."

"This anybody can easily come here from any direction."

(….He says that…. But I guess he wants to make it loud and clear instead.) – thought the dragon king.

(He wants everybody to know about the marriage.)

(And want as many people as possible to witness it.)

<<With the arrival of the dragon king, dragon queen and few other guests from their empire, the marriage preparation entered the finally stage.>>

<<In just few days it will be held… But obviously I've in the meantime, I've talked a bit with my groom as well as her parents.>>

<<And by talk… I mean, I've had a private talk with them where nobody was watching.>>

[Few hours later.]

"Now then…. Shall we get right to it?" – asked ClownFrog as he sat down alongside Blueberry, while both the dragon queen and king sat across them on the second sofa.

"A direct approach?" – asked the dragon king.

"Hm? You knew?" – asked ClownFrog.

"I guess your daughter let you know how I'm, eh?"

"Yes…. And for that we had prepared." – said the dragon king.

"You want to know why we want the marriage in the first place, right?"

"And you want information about my empire, wanting to know who you are marrying your daughter off to, right?" – asked ClownFrog,

"So…. Are we playing this game?"

"…"

"Yes." – replied the dragon king with serious expression.

<<Both of us wanted to get to know each other better… Or more exactly, we wanted to get as much information from each other as possible.>>

<<Originally the dragon empire was formed by the alliance of the many different dragon clans, which would not only grow as the time would went by, but would also merge with other dragon clans over the years, causing each of the main founding clans to not only change, but sometimes get completely replaced.>>

<<True, this process did made the empire grow to the point it became one of the strongest nations out there…. But obviously that kind of growth had side effects.>>

<<Apparently, for many years this process has somewhat died down, as no new clans has merged in any way with the dragon empire clans.>>

<<But even so, everything was normal.>>

<<…So? What was the side effect?>>

<<A rift.>>

<<These clans that were once close allies with each other ended up growing apart.>>

<<And around 50 years ago, that "rift" grown bigger and bigger, to the point it could be consider that the clans were "hostile" to one another.>>

<<But at the same time, they couldn't be hostile to each other.>>

"Because if they were to do it openly, the dragon empire would fell, huh?" – said ClownFrog as he had a private talk alongside Blueberry as well as both dragon queen and king.

"If the dragon clans were to go at the war with each other, the empire would destroy itself."

"And that is where I come here in play."

"Honestly, I was expecting you to use me as political tool…. But you don't want to use me as a weapon, but more as means of stopping a war from breaking out?"

"Yes… This is correct." – replied dragon king.

"We don't really wish for the war between our fellow clans."

"But we also understand that they may end up becoming if not already our enemies."

"That is why we want the Garog kingdom support."

"We want to appear 'dangerous' to the other clans in order to keep the war from breaking out."

"I see…. A war without a war, eh?" – said ClownFrog.

"True, it could work out."

"However, you could just asked for my military power? If anything."

"Why didn't you just asked about conquering your empire and making sure your clan would become its first ever emperor?"

"…"

"Because we wish for the peace." – replied the dragon king.

"We do not wish for our nation to fall or be destroyed by our own hands."

"We want it to survive."

"If it necessary, I will slay my brethren if it means my clan survival as well as the empire survival."

"But I do not wish for meaningless destruction."

"If it necessary, I will do it."

"But if there is way to avoid it, then I will."

"That is why we want to 'USE' you and your empire."

"Your empire will obtain the connection with our empire, while on the other hand we will receive a way of forcing the peace to last for much longer."

"A deal where we both benefit from it big time…. Eh?" – said ClownFrog.

"True. It does sound nice and everything…. And it also explains why you wanted to only tell me about it in 'face', since you feared somebody may overhear you."

"Very well, I'm satisfied with the information."

"I think it was well made deal between us."

(They came here, not even hiding any secret whatsoever.) – thought ClownFrog.

(They explained to me the entire situation in details and everything… By the looks of things, they were expecting this conversation to happened and already made preparation to confront me.)

(Honestly, this is nice.)

(Solid and proper answers without schemes.)

(Normally it wouldn't make sense.)

(But I guess they chose the "direct approach" because the situation calls for it.)
