Chapter 604 - 605– Continent of chaos – Part 25.
[Current location: City of Fang]
"Huh. So, you are saying that the beastmen are doing a rebellion and are siding with the empire at this very moment?" -asked the pope king while using the communication device to contact the army that had completely conquered and eradicated every single beastmen that once were present in the said location.
"Yes sir." – said the elderly paladin.
"And this isn't some scale rebellion either, but a massive one."
"A good chunk of the beastmen army has betrayed their own kingdom and sided with the empire."
"According to the deserters we had caught, they said that the top leaders of their kingdom army has changed side and now there is a civil war between the beastmen kingdom army and the "benefactor" monsters."
"Apparently even the beastmen king went completely mad and ordered the "hunt" of the traitors in order to turn them into the man made monsters that the "benefactor" specializes in."
"Huh…. Is he dumb?" – asked the pope king.
"I mean, everybody knows what kind of abominations that these creatures are, even the empire dares not to use or research them."
"…"
"I guess that king went completely mad with power…. Or desperation has taken him over."
"…"
"Welp, get rid off him if you were to capture him."
"Then, should we aim for their capital city?" – asked the elderly paladin.
"Nah. Don't risk it." – said the pope king.
"Let them- "
"I'm against it." – said the paladin with bandana as he joined the conversation.
"I'm sorry for suddenly speaking up your holiness, but I really can't stay quiet on the matter."
"If we were to just wait around and have the beastmen and empire duck it out, it would ultimately result in the empire absorbing the beastmen and having them join their side."
"And considering the current situation based on the reports we had been receiving, it seems empire will win that fight."
"…"
"What are you suggesting?" – asked the pope king.
"We forget about beastmen and fully focus on the empire." – said the priest with bandana.
"…"
"Huh…. Not bad." – said the elderly paladin.
"If we do this that way, the empire will have harder time absorbing the beastmen kingdom, weakening both of our enemies at the same time."
"…"
"If you say so, then do it." – said the pope king.
"Make them suffer."
"As you command, your holiness."
[Few days later: Frontlines between the empire and beastmen kingdom.]
"So, you are saying that the amount of support we will be getting will decrees?" – asked GreyHunt.
["Yeb, sorry mate, but our hands are occupied here on the frontlines."] – said ClownFrog.
["The holy kingdom attacks has for some reason started getting more powerful and tricky out a blue."]
["Not only that, but they are completely ignoring the beastmen kingdom. I can kind of tell their strategy, since it is plain as day…. But something is still off about it."]
["And I'm not talking about "why" they are using that strategy, since like I've said I know why, but "how"?"]
["Is the heavens providing them with even more support?"]
"Or maybe it is players." – said GreyHunt.
"Remember dude, we are not only fighting NPCs here, we are also fighting players left and right."
"The players that had lost their kingdoms had either decided to surrender and join the empire…. Or they went to the holy kingdom side."
["Yea… You are right…. Honestly, there was a lot more player attacks recently as well."]
["You can kill assassin players as well, but they will just keep coming back to life over and over again…Their sabotages had been getting annoying."]
["And the one leading those attacks? Guess who."]
"Conquest?"
["Oh? You heard?"]
"Nah. It was obvious."
"At this point this guy has extremely hard hate boner for us out of every single players out there."
"Anway, can you at least provide me with some flying monsters at least? Preferable the dragons if possible."
"Considering the current situation on my side, the dragons would be the best."
["…. I will see what I can do on my end…. Good luck."] – said ClownFrog before then ending the call.
"…"
"!"
"You here!" – said general Axe as he waited outside GreyHunt tent.
"Yea, I was talking with the boss. He said that the situation on the frontlines changed with the holy kingdom only now attacking us." – said GreyHunt as he started walking alongside the beastmen general.
"I've asked him for some support, especially the dragons since they may prove useful."
"Anyway, what about your end?"
"They joined." – said the beastmen general.
"Huh. Like that?" – asked GreyHunt.
"Yea…. At first they didn't wanted to…. But it all changed after our king order…. Kill and capture the traitors and use them to create the monsters."
"This pushed way too many over the edge and decided to switch sides…. But also, many soldiers that tried to were captured…."
"…"
"Hm…."
(If what is he saying is real, then situation turned in our favor.) – thought GreyHunt.
(Honestly, we don't need any reinforcements right now anything.)
(The beastmen are not dumb enough to not realize that the king is no longer seeing his soldier as "soldiers", but just plain "ammunition".)
"…"
"Huh…. Say, how many of these "benefactor" monsters do they have left anyway?"
"It depends on what we are looking here." – said the general Axe.
"The humanoids are a threat, yes and they can way more deadly than any other army…. But only if they got solid leader and control over them."
"With the current situation, they don't have either of those things."
"But the perfect chimeras are different."
"They are savage and don't need control."
"We killed quiet a lot of them….. I don't really know how many are left, but definitely less than 800."
"Hm… But even the lowest ranking chimera on their side is quiet strong, so even 500 of them would be problematic." – said GreyHunt.
"…"
"Then again…. Considering the current situation, the beastmen kingdom may have already sided with us as whole and see their own king as the enemy."
"…"
"Once we get our reinforcements, we are going straight for the kill."
"Any complains?"
"…"
"Non." – replied beastmen general.
"Good." – said GreyHunt.
"Then let's kill that fucking king."
[Sometime later - Side: ClownFrog.]
"Wait! We can talk this out mate!" - said the orc player that was grabbed by his neck, before then getting burned to death by ClownFrog breath attack.
"…"
"Anybody else?" – asked ClownFrog while staring at the other players that had gathered around.
"…"
"Betray me like that guy did and you know what will happened to you, got it?" – said ClownFrog before then walking away.
"Well, this was quiet expected if I'm honest." – said Blueberry in her humanoid form as she joined up with ClownFrog and started walking alongside him.
"Then make example out of them." – said ClownFrog.
"And give them as harshest punishment as possible as well, to make all of them think twice before deciding to betray me."
"But anyway, is what you said the truth?"
"Yeb. There is no way I could not recognized these bastard." – said Blueberry.
"Those were angel dragons."
"Huh…. So, the "Evil god of heavens" have finally decided to join the war?" – said ClownFrog.
"…Or maybe they let him?"
"Dumo." – replied Blueberry while shrugging her shoulders.
"From what Oron told me, the holy kingdom and the empire church, the one worshiping the heavenly dragon were at odds with each other to the point they could be considered enemies."
"But now they are working together?"
"The holy kingdom tried saying that we were just framing the heavenly dragon, but they didn't do it to protect his name, but the heavens name and in turn their name."
"…"
"I don't know… But, they will die. Again, and again." – said ClownFrog.
"I'm sick and tired of that heavenly dragon bullshit already."
[Meanwhile: Church army camp.]
"!"
"Ah… This sucks." – said the female dark elf player.
"?"
"What is it?" – asked the female merfolk player.
"They started finding our spies." – said the black elf player.
"6/8 of them were just hunted down personally and executed publicly by ClownFrog himself.
"They got one of the two spies we had." – said the female dark elf player.
"What about the two remaining spies, Gima?" – asked the human player.
"Well…. They are alive…. For now, that is." – replied the dark elf player named Gima.
"However, one of them is asking for the pay increase, since apparently the "job was way harder than you had told me", he said."
"…"
"Fine… Say that he will get the money." – said the human player.
"We need those spies in order to track the empire movements….. We also should consider maybe bribing some other players… But this maybe hard…."
"…"
"Still…. I can't say I'm not getting nervous." – said the human priestess player named Amari.
"To think we will be facing off against him once again…. Eh?"
"Tch."
"As much as it annoys me to admit it, I don't think I even stand a chance against that bastard." – said the heavily armored female player named Baron.
"Oh? You are saying this?" - asked curios looking cat girl player.
"Yea. This guy is straight up raid boss at this very moment." – said Baron.
"But we have our own very raid boss on our side."
"Isn't this right, boss?"
"Yea." – replied the human player.
[Guild Master Of The Silver Tiger guild]
[Alamin]
[A.K.A]
["Harem Fucker"]
"I hope you are done with your talk already, you lazy bastards." – said Conquest as he entered the tent.
"Hey. We are holding a private talk, you can't- "
"Shut it. Bitch." – said Conquest, grabbing the hand of the female merfolk player that tried to stop Conquest, only to instead have her hand start getting crushed.
"Let her go, Conquest." – said Alamin.
"…."
Conquest threw away the girl like a trash, before then quickly moving right next to the Alamin and grabbing his armor.
"You better watch yourself, traitor." – said Conquest.
"The only reason why I'm not killing you, is because we are working together."
"But once this is over, you are next."
"And you don't realize who have the higher authority here, "friend"." – said Alamin.
"So back off."
"Unless you want me to issue some "orders" around."
"…"
"Tch."
Conquest let go Alamin armor, before then starting to walk away.
"Get ready. Those were the orders."
"So don't fucking waste our time." – said Conquest before leaving the tent.
"…"
"Jeez…. He is still mad about it, isn't he?" – asked the cat girl player.
"Well, who wouldn't?" – said Alamin.
"We dissolved our guild and joined his, only to instantly leave it when things started going south before then we reformed out guild."
"Not only that, but because of our high standings in the holy kingdom, we were given a higher position of power than him."
"He was our boss for short moment and now we are his."
"Considering his pride, he is probably fuming 24/7."
"But no matter."
"Because we will do what he couldn't."
"And that would be slaying the demon lord."
