[VRMMO] Dead One

After entering and getting trapped in the dungeon, the Purple Hyena guild raid squad ended up being ambushed by the horde of the headless monsters wielding chains.

The monsters did proven themselves somewhat annoying and challenging, but they beaten them.

After beating the first wave of the enemy, the group began exploring the dungeon, encountering more of the chained and headless monsters on their way in massive numbers while also inspecting the inside of the dungeon.

"Hey. Are we sure this isn't an prison?" – asked Ampi.

"I mean, there are cells and all other stuff in here. So far, I really didn't saw anything like "Execution theme" and more like "Prison Theme"." – said curios Ampi as she observed massive cells that were originally filled with headless monsters.

"Maybe its an mix of both." – said ClownFrog who approached Ampi from behind.

"Maybe this place is both an prison and the place where the people were executed."

"Anyway, how long we have been in this dungeon for anyway?"

"An hour at least…. Maybe even 2 or more hours could have passed already without us realizing." – replied Oron.

"Tch."

"Damn. Not only this place is big, but the monsters here aren't exactly pushovers." – said Shri.

"Not only that, it seems some stronger variants have started appearing."

"And we…. How much we explored again?"

"Not much." – replied Lil.

"Not only that, it seems that this place is an fuking labyrinth and we have to somehow find the correct path."

"It may take few hours before we find the boss room depending on how big this dungeon is and how many of those monsters like those are out there."

"And we cannot contact anybody from outside world regarding our current situation at all…. Great." – said annoyed Shri.

"Do we rush it?" – suggested Shri.

"Nope. Too risky." – replied ClownFrog.

"What if this dungeon have multiple floors or have multiple bosses or something else?"

"We maybe an fuking "Monsters", but that doesn't mean that we are safe."

"Hell, you do need to remember the fact that none of the monsters above ground were able to destroy this Forgotten Fragment and now they are also scared shitlessly about getting anywhere near it."

"So don't let your guard down and don't use your strongest attacks unless necessary."

"Keep your guard up no matter what, since we don't know when we could fight something…... *Sigh*"

"Here they come again." – said ClownFrog as he notices an group of headless monsters began rushing towards the party.

"Get ready you fuckers! Its time for another round!"

[Meanwhile: Outside.]

"Dammit!" – said Tail.

"What's wrong?!" – asked Howl.

"I can't contact ClownFrog at all." – replied Tail.

"Maybe he turned off his chat?" – asked Wretch.

"I tried contacting THEM ALL!" – replied annoyed Tail who was grabbing his head in frustration.

"There is no way they would straight up mute us, considering the last report we gave them."

"…...Maybe they can't contact us?" – suggested Wretch.

"What? Why would…... Oh…. Trap dungeon…. Huh… Well that just complicates the things a bit." – said Tail who realizes why he had no ability to contact the group that was send to deal with the dungeon.

"Shit…. And annoying one that straight up blocks contact to the outside world as well? Well, that is just interesting."

"Wait, why are you here!? Shouldn't you be dealing with the players?!" – asked Wretch.

"Oh? That. They were already killed by ox mans and spiders." – said Tail who tried to sound calmly, but was visible worried to the point Wretch easily noticed it.

"Those people were just greedy idiot who though they could handle themselves."

"They were not some hot shots or somebody important. Just bunch of noobs."

"But for the safer side, I send Howl and some other people to see if there is something like an base or settlement nearby."

"Coming here is one thing, but other thing is being prepared."

"The reason why ClownFrog had planned to attack major settlements near the Bloody Mounties is simple, its to hinder anybody from hunting here."

"Without an solid location nearby or base you would have harder time hunting around, right?"

"You can obviously stack up on supplies, but if you want to travel long distance and come here where there is shit ton of monsters, then you would need not only huge amount of supplies, but also an high grade potions and other things of high value as well."

"Meaning, money."

"And if you would want to recover and restock, then you would need to travel shit ton of amount of time before you could possible come back, meaning a lot of time would get used up."

"However, there comes these bastards who were weak."

"Did we just encounter some idiots? Or maybe there is an settlement nearby?"

"I need to confirm if everything is alright or do we need to panic."

"…. Then, can't we just destroy it?" – suggested Wretch.

"Yea! Let's destroy it! And maybe give them an hint that we may be somewhere nearby!" – replied annoyed Tail.

"If we were to do anything, then we would need to go on rampage, but the current situation within the empire is more annoying, since there are multiple reinforced locations thought the whole empire."

"We could use our boss to do the living hell, but can we really reveal his new form to the public before we are ready for the war?"

"There is also the problem that it would cause something like "locations near the Bloody Mountains were suspiciously destroyed multiple times by Purple Hyena". We could leave an hint to those bastards on where we could be possible be hiding."

"So…. We hope that you are wrong?" – asked Wretch.

"Well, it would have been the best case scenario." – said worried Tail.

"Em… Wretch…. I think I was unfortunately right…. And we maybe be in trouble."

While the situation outside have been undergoing somewhat change, the situation inside the dungeon have also undergone some changes.

The party continue exploring the labyrinth dungeon, exploring the deeper parts of that place while also slaying countless headless and chained monsters.

"Damn. Another one of those wondering boss monsters, eh?" – said Rampage as she stood on top of the giant humanoid corpse without a head.

"Hey! Do you think we are getting close?" – asked Rampage.

"How the hell should I know?" – asked GreyHunt who was taking out his extendable blade from the monster corpse.

"So far, we gotten to the floor 3, but we don't know how many fuking floors this dungeon has…. And there is also the fuking thing about this place being an FUKING labyrinth!" – shouted very annoyed and angry GreyHunt.

"For fuck sake!"

"And I can't complain too much since the EXP drop from this place is massive at least!"

"Well, actually I can complain, since the monsters here aren't really some weaklings that we can easily kill with "OUR" power and we need to get somewhat serios when dealing with them, since not only they can damage us, but they can also take a hit."

"And not only that, but we cannot even split and search around, since we cannot use any form of communication. No skills, no chat, no items. Anything!"

"Well, I can't exactly say "Calm down" since all of us are stressed, annoyed and somewhat tired, but what I can say is that we are still managing." – said ClownFrog as he used blood magic to heal his demons that got injured.

"Still, the number of the wondering boss monsters we have been encountering have been increasing and its not all of them are the same kind as well. They are all sort of wierdos just like the normal mobs here."

"Hey guys! Look here!" – shouted Ampi.

The group fallowed Ampi voice and found her looking through some sort of pathway.

"What is Ampi?" – asked Oron as he approached the Ampi.

"Look!" – said Ampi as she pointed at something.

The party looked towards the direction where Ampi was pointing and upon looking, they saw an giant open space that had an single giant damaged state in the middle.

The statue represented an male human being sitting on the throne.

The entire statue itself seems to be badly damaged, with even having its head being cut clean off.

"Huh…. What is this?" – said ClownFrog as he entered the open space room where the statue was located alongside the other people.

"…. I don't sense any monsters…. So, I think this area is safe?"

"Well, that is at least good thing." – said Rampage.

"We can take a break for an moment…. But anyway, what is that thing?" – said Rampage as she gazed at the giant statue.

"…. It… It look somewhat Greek? By the whole throne design, I can maybe speculate like this?" – said Oron as he observed the giant statue with interest.

"…. Its covered from head to toe in slash marks and its head seems to be missing."

"Is it something like an worship symbol or something?" – asked Lil as she turned towards Hera.

"Maybe…. It does somewhat look like it was made as an object of worship, but I don't know of what or who." – replied Hera before then spreading her wings and flying towards the statue in order to start inspecting it.

"Hey. I found something!" – shouted Shri who was near the statue feets.

"Its some sort tablet and there is stuff written on it."

The Blueberry alongside ClownFrog walked towards where Shri was, where they found the tablet in question.

"What is written on it?" – asked Blueberry.

"I don't know. The system isn't doing anything…... But… I feel like I seen those symbols somewhere else before." – replied Shri who somehow remembers seeing the symbols written on the tabled somewhere else, while from behind Oron was approaching the trio.

"Wait." – said Oron as he approached the tabled.

"…. Its Greece! It's an freaking Greece language!" – said Oron who recognized the symbols written on the tabled.

"Wait, what did you just said?" – said ClownFrog with confused look.

"HERA! GET YOUR ASS HERE NOW!" – shouted ClownFrog to the Hera who was still flying high and was inspecting the statue.

"What is it?" – asked Hera upon landing on the ground near the group.

"Quick question. Did you ever seen anything like this? I mean this language?" – asked ClownFrog with confused yet somewhat concerned look.

"No…. I never seen those symbols ever before… But some of them do look like the symbols from your language called "English" if I'm correct, yes?" – said Hera who was inspecting the tabled.

"But beside that, I have no clue."

"I studied many different languages, but I never before seen something like this."

(Okay...WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?) – though confused ClownFrog as he gazed on the tablet.

(An Greece language?! What the hell is doing here?!)

(This world have its own language and writing and stuff, the Greece language SHOULDN'T BE HERE!)

(Did the developers just put it here as some sort of reference to the Greece mythology version of this game?)
